New to this office, and maybe to the habits of adult dentistry, I was concerned at first. Never really liked the condescending dentists I went, or how they treated me, especially during procedures. But our family needed to change our habits, and this was the place we found. As skeptical as I was, I gave Dr. Tsang and his crew a shot; they were local, and my family needed an adult dentist. We were referred to others but never felt the right vibe. Immediately, I was swept off my feet by their supreme level of care, rare level of care, in fact. And they offered me assistance and assurance throughout the entire process. Educating me on my issues, my habits and consequences. Listening and hearing my skepticism and concern. Giving me options on every front from care and repair to payments(super understanding of payments). Dr. Tsang's office turned my entire view around regarding dentist visits. They are a blessing!! If you have concerns or fears, I highly suggest trying this office out. On my heart, I swear to you, you will at least be given the experience of a higher standard of practicing dentistry that is akin to visiting a spa. They offer entertainment during visits such as music and television, they give you eye protection, they are clean, professional and super kind. The manager at the front desk is just an absolute angel. She's the first person you talk to, see and the last person to care for you on your way out. Dr. Tsang is a friendly, family oriented, down to Earth practitioner. My wife loved the experience of their x-ray process and cleaning. They performed procedures on me that would normally be uncomfortable, but somehow they made it very much relaxing. I hope my kids get to transition to their office when they grow up. I would give this amazing place ten stars, but I guess 5 will do. I can't even express how wonderful this place is!! For the past years I've had the worst and I mean WORST luck with different dental offices. I by no means am a person who loves to visit the dentist (I hate them! And needless) but after having my son I just knew I had to go get a cleaning. I looked on the internet for hours. I asked friends, almost anything you can imagine.. till one of my customers told me about this place. She told me the staff was super nice and friendly (including the dentist!!) so I said ok, let's give them a try! I called the office and the lady at the front desk was beyond nice! She booked my appointment right away without any problems. As a mom, you know unexpected things happen. To my luck the day I had to go in to get my X-rays done, my sons babysitter couldn't watch him.. so there I was, what to do!! Well I walk into the office and I tell the lady at the front desk that I was there for my X-rays.. I also explain to her that I had no one to watch my son. She tells me "honey don't worry, you go right in there and get your X-rays done I will watch your baby" she was amazing!! As I'm in there extremely nervous Dr Tsang walks in and I go crazy asking him a ton of questions. To my surprise he answered everything and made me feel super comfortable. He was super nice and funny too!! Both of the young ladies that work there are also very nice and friendly. They listened to all my concerns, answered all my questions. I was really scared (call me a baby) but we are all scared of something right? Thank you Dr Tsang!! You and all your wonderful staff made this experience a good one. Since than, I have told friends about this place and I have two of my close friends now going there. I definitely recommend this place!! read more

Dr. Tsang is by far the best dentist we have ever experienced. I had a tooth emergency...my bottom wisdom tooth was giving me extreme pain and Dr. Tsang was recommended by a family friend. He was very welcoming and understanding with my tooth situation. He was very nice and professional making sure I understood what was happening with my tooth and informing me about the procedure that was going to take place. He was super friendly and made me feel at ease, which is super important to me because I cannot deal with pain and hated visiting the dentist! He has a very GENTLE arm unlike most of my previous dentist. I didn't even feel anything and it took seconds before my tooth was extracted. Literally the most painless extraction I have ever had. My other dentist was worried about the complications of how difficult it was going to be to take out, but Dr. Tsang extracted it within seconds! I was shocked and didn't even realize the procedure was done. He is quite the dentist, very professional and welcoming. Quick, simple, and skilled, what more would you want from a dentist? We plan on switching our dentist to him from now on, GREAT experience! read more

I don't usually go out of my way to review anything on yelp, but I would feel like a horrible person if I didn't come here to spread the good words after the incredible service I got. My entire experience at the clinic, from talking on the phone with the receptionist, all the way to the check-up and the removal of my wisdom tooth, was, hands down, the best I have ever gotten. Not only was Dr. Tsang very thorough with the entire checkup and teeth cleaning, he was very good about educating me to improve my oral health. Through my experiences in seeing various doctors around the Bay Area, it is completely unheard of to find a doctor who is willing to spend more than half an hour to listen to all your concerns and answer all your questions. I could feel that Dr. Tsang truly cared about his patients, and that he was doing it for the benefit of the patients instead of merely running a business with the patients on an assembly line, which is the case with most clinics right now. With only one experience in the clinic, I'm already certain that I will continue going back to Dr. Tsang as long as I'm still in the area. read more

I have seen many dentist in the past 10 years having problems with each of them. One day while searching yelp for a new dentist I seen three reviews for Dr. Tsang way underrated. His office staff is wonderful and you don't get that very often from dentist or doctor offices anymore I was able to get my first appt for my cleaning and check up almost immediately as soon as I walked in I was greeted checked in without having to give my name and sat down for literally a second. As soon as I sat in the dentist chair Dr. Tsang was right there greeting me and ready to go. He explains everything so well I never have any question for him because he answers them before I can think of the. Since my first visit I have been back to him more than I am willing to admit (my own fault), and it is the same experience every time. I am in quickly treated and out. I have never had this at any other office that I have been to. I think more of Dr Tsang's patient should come forward and give him and is staff the credit they deserve. read more

I initially made an appointment for this dentistry for cosmetic dental work. My mother and I went and I am very happy to report that the staff was wonderful. The dental assistant was very sweet, and Dr. Chu was exceptional. She was very energetic and kind. She's the only dentist I've ever had that actually made me feel comfortable talking and asking questions. She took several photographs of my teeth and displayed them on the screen, showing me underlying tooth/gum problems that other dentists and orthodontists didn't catch. She explained the issues I had very well and was very thorough in her examination. She answered all my questions and did so enthusiastically. I came in very opposed to getting orthodontic treatment but after Dr. Chu's slideshows and advice, she definitely convinced my mother and I to pursue it. The experience was truly the best I've ever had at any dentistry and I highly recommend everyone to make their appointments here. You can't get better service than this! read more

Doctor Tsang and his staff are always Very Friendly. Elsa the secretary at the front desk is extremely nice and personable. The dental assistants are also very nice as well. They provide great services and do a great job at everything related to teeth. They're always concerned with your best interest to make sure you as the patient are feeling okay during procedures. The Doctors are so invested and it shows in their work. I love Dr.Tsang's office in Pinole and I would highly recommend switching to him for dental needs. This is one dental office that is not concerned about the money, but just the simple health and well being of their patients and their teeth. I give Dr. Tsang two thumbs up for his work and the excellent staff. I am a satisfied patient and I always look forward to coming to get a good cleaning and being around great people. Absolutely the best place to get your dental needs taken care of.I highly recommend Dr.Tsang to anyone looking for great service.I am from a small town and really appreciate the customer friendly staff as well as the help they give a family who is on a very tight budget. Our insurance only covers so much for the year and he is willing to help out with payments which im sure he doesnt have to, but he makes you feel like he cares.I haven't had a regular dentist since I was a kid but I can guarantee you that hes our regular dentist for our family from here on out! I have to give praise to my dentist Dr. Albert M. Tsang DDS for being an awesome Dentist from day one since I started seeing him about 2-3 years Everyone needs to know my story!!! Last Monday I fell and chipped both my front teeth, I was devastated! Not only was I in pain, but my self-esteem was shattered too! I run a small company and I just started a new account I could not let anyone see my teeth like this. I called Dr. Tsang office and he told me to come in right away! To make a long story store he assured me that I would not leave his office without teeth!! I have been going to Dr. Albert Tsang since he took over the practice from Dr. Au. He was a great choice to take over Dr. Au's practice. He is an exceptional dentist. Last year I had surgery to put in two implants. I can't tell the difference between the implants and my real teeth! I was worried about having the surgery but Dr. Tsang and his staff were so good that there was no need to worry. It went really smooth and I am extremely happy with the results! Elsa is the manager and has been there forever and is really nice. Elsa makes you feel at home. The rest of the staff are also very nice and professional. I was just there yesterday and as always they make you feel welcome. I told Dr. Tsang that he always makes me feel special. He takes such good care of my dental needs. I went to Dr. Tsnag with many, many dental problems and since have not had any problems with my teeth, gums, etc. I have had major work done which has resulted in a lot of out of pocket expenses. Dr. Tsang and his staff worked wonders to keep all of my procedures affordable. I have always been explained the work that needs to be done before it's even started with step by step procedures/expenses. I feel comfortable walking out of the office with full knowledge of what will happen at my next appointment. The staff are all friendly, helpful and "on their toes". You will always get a reminder for appointments and upcoming cleanings. They have always been able to squeeze my family and I in for emergency/last minute appointments. I would recommend Dr. Tsang as a child care dentist to anyone. Last month I took my 4 year old daughter to see Dr. Tsang for a root canal. The procedure took 2.5 hours (honestly felt like 45 minutes). I was hesitant about the dentist, but my daughter's healthy eating habits were more important. Dr. Tsang's assertive style made my daughter felt she was in trustful hands. He was quick to react when he saw my daughter was in any type of discomfort. Halfway through the root canal, he gave her a break. I was surprise to see my daughter ASK HIM to start again. At that moment I knew I made the right choice in a children dentist. I've been coming to see Dr. Chu for almost two years now and I can not say enough good things about my experience here. My routine cleanings have always been something I would dread until coming here. They have a very relaxing atmosphere and make sure you are always comfortable. Elsa the receptionist is just wonderful, she always is on top of my appointments since life can get pretty busy at times she always works around my schedule. Today I had my first filling in 10 years, which I was a bit nervous about, but Dr. Chu and her team made me feel comfortable about the whole experience. She was gently and took her time. What can I say about the front desk, they're very good at accommodating me for my dental appointments and have email reminders for someone like me who tends to forget about my appointments. I had a great experience here at Dr. Tsangs office. My appointment from start to finish was a great experience, I really enjoyed being able to see pictures of my teeth because it really helps to see what's wrong with my teeth as Dr. Tsang is walking me through the x-Rays and photos. My first cleaning here was great, both the doctor and the assistant were very gentle. I tried the zoom whitening on my second visit. I highly recommend this for anyone who is looking to brighten up their smile it worked great on me, the results were awesome. Dr. Tsang and his team are the best!! I came here years ago because a friends daughter worked here and I FEARED the dentist! From my very first visit Dr. Tsang put me at ease and him and his team took care of me and treated my like family. My 10 year old hasn't been to any other dentist, she just had 2 baby teeth pulled and came out with a smile! My 18 year old looks forward to our check ups! This office is by far the best dentist I ever been to. The staff is very friendly and caring . Once you walk through the door all you hear is very nice greetings and making you comfortable. Dr. Tsang and the whole staff are all very caring and they make it so it never feels like a hassle when visiting the dentist. I've had my teeth cleaning here for many years and have never had any problems. I also got veneers put on here and was very pleased with the results.
