The new and soooo not improved bean and cheese, very disappointing.

Sooo I've been coming tho this Alberto's since I was a teenager ( I'm 40 now) it's a bit sad to see the prices of their bean and cheese go up so much and then making their burritos with less cheese and beans every single time, before I used to squeeze the beans and cheese out of my burritos, now I don't get enough, specially cheese. Make your burritos how they used to be if I'm going to pay almost $20 for two of them. Also, don't argue with customer over one or 2 extra sauces, you're not king taco. I miss the OGs at this store.

This is my go to place for tortas now and they're always very consistent and good! The drive thru is pretty fast too

I LIVE TO GIVE A PLACE A SECOND CHANCE AND THEY REDEEM THEMSELVES! TWO YEARS LATER! Tonight, my dad and i wanted some food, and i was really craving taquitos with guac, and he wanted a burrito. We decided to go pretty late tonight (9:30pm) and WOW, WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED! The service was fast as hell, the food was HOT and bomb, and the prices were really fair! The Chile verde burrito weighed as much as I did, and they did NOT skimp on the meat. Also, the tortilla was a homemade flour tortilla!!! WHERE THEY DO THAT AT NOW?! My "rolled tacos" were very tasty as well. They cheese and guac made the taquitos that much better, and I will 100% get them again. . My dad is one PICKY ASS MAN, and he definitely enjoyed his food and even said he will be back as well! ( a big deal for that picky Mexican) amazing job, Alberto's!!

I ordered taquitos and a bean and cheese burrito But half way down my burrito I discover a whole toothpick in my burrito... They gave me a full refund and said it must have came from there tacos by accident hmmmmm.... Never gunna eat here again... Good thing I didn't give it to my 2 year old daughter like my plan was but she ate already. I do feel bad cuz she was a sweet older lady but damn come on now.

It was late at night and all of a sudden, I wanted carne asada fries. It literally just hit me out of nowhere and I jumped into my car in my PJs in search for some. I got to Pepe's and the drive-thru was ridiculously long and while I was there, my friend had mentioned to me that Alberto's has really good 'super fries' SO I BUSTED A U out of the drive-thru and cruised to Alberto's! I've always passed by this place but the location always turned me off. A small corner and there's usually always a line of cars out to the street. Luckily there was no one there last night. I got an order of asada fries (hold the beans pls) and within minutes I was on my way with my car smelling delish! Got home a few minutes later and wooooww he was so beautiful. So much guac and sour cream - I was in heaven. Lots of fries, meat and cheese as well - the salsa was bomb. The green one ok, not the red. I'm a weenie when it comes to hot stuff. Can't handle. ONE BIT. Idk if I'd make the drive to come back because yes it was really good but I'd say comparable to Pepe's - which is way closer to me. Idk. We will have to see.

Be prepared for a little bit of a wait, depending on the time of day but well worth it. While we were there, they had several birthdays celebrated. With a little song and a little dessert.

DRINK and FOOD: We started with a couple of Mango Margaritas ($13.50/ea.), a bottle of Pacifico ($6.50), and a coffee ($4.50). For our entrees, we tried the Beef Sope ($9.99), Enchiladas Poblanos ($17.49), Shrimp & Scallop Fajitas ($26.49), and the Carnitas Plate ($17.49). The food came out quickly, hot, and was pretty good. I won't say it's the best Mexican food, but it's decent. Overall, nice atmosphere, good service and food make for delicious experiences. We would return.

Thankfully we were able to detour from Anaheim on our way to LAX. Special shout out to the dedicated staff who graciously accommodated us and allowed us to sneak in a bit early in order to fulfill our cravings and still make our flight on time. I grew up going to Casa Moreno since the original spot in 1995, you can say it's home for me. My kids have therefore grown up visiting it every chance we get when visiting our family in the area. We generally all share and pass our plates around in true family style because we can never decide which all-star traditional plates to order. This time, the kid's quesadilla, 3 Amigos, Steak Fajitas, Chicken Flautas and Machaca made the cut. The look on my son's face when the sizzling platter was headed his way was just as magical as seeing him hug Chip and Dale. Every single bite warmed our hearts and filled our homemade food starved bodies. Casa Moreno is undeniably the greatest Mexican food that Los Angeles has had to offer for over 30 years. Their traditions span throughout three generations and the second you crunch those warm chips covered in their "Chilanga" salsa, you'll be hooked. The best part is that my local family is always there and pleased to come sit with us. We are all unfortunately spread apart across the country but Casa Moreno will always be the place that brings us together. Our shared experiences and memories there always make it HOME. Thank you Casa Moreno for all the sacrifices and hard work to stay around this long, it is very much appreciated by this LA girl living in Hawai'i.

It was tasty and there was plenty on the plate along with rice, beans, and a small salad. Absolutely love that they put a fire roasted chili on top, radish slices, and an orange slice. After I nearly blew up my poor en-suite microwave (I didn't realize the El Picosito staff had DOUBLE wrapped my burrito, an inner layer of aluminum foil encased within an outer paper layer) the rest of my W evening dinner was uneventful. Typically, El Picosito formulates their burritos w/ the protein of your choice, beans/rice, cheese, onions/cilantro and hot sauce- I made only one change, pivoting from the hot sauce to sour cream. My burrito was good sized, filling and quite toothsome, a rib-sticking, finger-licking meal. While I canmot affirm if they're "a lil bit spicy," they are a lotta bit tasty.
