Update: I can't resist doing an update based on Alberto's reply. #1- my car should never have been at your yard- I confirmed with your driver that he knew how to get to the dealer and have the work order from urgently, the roadside assistance company. This was a pre planned scam. #2- You have lost the urgently and Mercedes accounts based on my experience- you're welcome . #3- He still has Geico, so you folks with Geico beware. I am working on that too. :). #4-You can contact the California Tow Truck Association and ask about Albertos reputation. #5- Lol, you tried to charge me and took my credit card but then got scared when the police showed up and gave me my card back. #6- Your buddy threatened me, which urgently actually has on a recorded line as I was talking to them when I was accosted. #7- I will be picking up the police body cam footage and will be putting it up on a website so everyone can watch EXACTLY what happened. I ordered a tow truck from Alberto's on August 23 at approximately 2:45 PM. I was told there was a truck "nearby". I called back at 4:30 PM to advise that no one had shown up. The truck showed up shortly thereafter. I had been quoted $75. Once vehicle was removed from truck I was told that an additional $20 was going to be charged because I was using a credit card for payment. I was able to negotiate the additional charge from $20 to $5 because of the long wait time. I was told that an invoice would be sent to me via text. I followed up on invoice (needed for insurance reimbursement) starting 9/11 continuously until today with no response. read more

Although he wasn't sure exactly, he said it's better to have an auto shop check it out for saving money purposes. He placed my car on his flatbed ramp and safely took it to the Auto Shop down the street. Even during the duration, of putting my vehicle on the slope, and to the auto shop, he made conversation. My car is running on it's last legs and money is as tight as can be. After heading to get a midday coffee before heading home (about 25 miles away) I hit a curb a bit too hard. It was a mess, and I was freaking out! I called Albertos Towing first and they gave me an offer, even discounting it ten bucks. I called some more places and not a single place came close to matching Albertos Towing. I did forget to mention it would be two people riding along (from Orange, CA to West Covina, CA) so it was a tight fit, but we got home safe and sound and it turns out I only knocked out the fuel line. So, this is my first ever review. Another first that happened yesterday was getting stranded on the fwy while heading to work. First time getting towed also. I quickly searched on Yelp and called Alberto's Towing. They picked up right away, I told them where I was, and a nice young guy (sorry, didn't catch his name) came and hooked up my SUV. The price seemed fair and I was able to get a rough estimate over the phone. Since it was actually a few miles less than I told them over the phone, my final price was a bit lower than the estimate. They said they were running late and had lots of orders but I didn't feel like they neglected me (and it was rush hour from Irvine to Santa Ana).
