My car broke down on the 73 and I was desperate to find a tow. I called Alberto and he offered to tow my car from Irvine to Westminster for $90 cash. Which was a Pretty decent price. I sent him my location and let him know I was on the left shoulder and he said he would be there in about 20 mins. After 20 minutes he ended up passing my car, so I had to call him to let him know he passed me. He went to the adjacent freeway going the opposite direction and called me to tell me he saw my car and would come for me in another 20 minutes.... I ended up waiting for another hour, called him multiple times with no answer. Finally he picked up the phone and told me he was on his way. After about 2 and a half hours total waiting for the tow, he finally came and told me he actually bailed after telling me he saw my car. So unprofessional! The least he could have done was pick up and tell me he had a hard time finding me instead of not answering his phone and making me wait. Thank god I kept calling, I would have been waiting all day. After arriving, he towed my car and dropped it off near my house. I'm still extremely disappointed about making me wait and not answering, then telling me he actually bailed and only came back because I kept calling. Never ever am I calling this tow company again. read more

Scheduled service through my roadside provider. Confirmation stated tow truck would arrive in 55 minutes. Once it was 10 minutes late, I called to check on the ETA. Lady answering the phone, Lily, I believe, said she was just about to call me. Right... they don't have the tow truck available for my service. So waiting all that time, no one was in route. Amazing tow service. I just bought a used car and it wouldn't start. Turns out the previous owner had an amp that used to be hooked up to the battery. He left a wire hooked onto the battery that was draining it. Pete from Albertos towing was a life saver. He noticed the problem right away and fixed my car right there on the spot!! It was so unexpected because I thought I would have to have it towed to a mechanic to get it fixed which could have been an arm and a leg. On Tuesday night (6 October 2020), my car broke down on my way home. I was less than 5 miles from home and was stranded on the shoulder of the freeway in a dangerous situation. I called my insurance company and requested road side assistance. Alberto's Towing responded to the call. The driver had some difficulties finding me, but I expected that as I was in an unusual location. While I was waiting, two separate State Police Officers stopped to check on me. The officers told me that I would not be able to leave the vehicle or walk off the freeway for safety issues. The driver for Alberto's was quick, friendly, and professional. He went out of his way to ensure I was safe and my vehicle was properly towed to my residence. I would absolutely, 100% recommend Alberto's for any emergency vehicle situation. read more

Excellent Service provided from start to finish! My Car failed on the freeway Around 11pm and My Insurance called Alberto to come help move my car. I was given an ETA of 1 Hr which was expected. Alberto personally called me to ask exactly where I was to minimize delay. He was there within 35 minutes! I got a quote for $75 after providing pickup and drop off addresses etc. I was told to call in to confirm time. When I called, my $75 quote turned into a $280 quote. After some research, $280 seems to be the going rate, but I am not a fan of doing business that way. Just be honest with me up front instead of trying to bait me with a $75 quote. read more

Gave the best price and was friendly/courteous on the phone, but told me an hour wait and never showed up. I waited another hour and texted him for an ETA. He called me back and said someone will be there in an hour again. I ended up waiting a total of 3 hours with no one showing up. I ended up calling a different tow company who matched his price and came within 15 minutes. Seems like they draw you in with a low price and being a sponsored result on Yelp. But like with any business that focuses on volume, they over-promise and under-deliver. read more

If you were stranded on a deserted island with albertos towing as your only option to survive, you would end up dying. Their main operator that picks up the phone is rude and short when he answers the phone. He initially gave me an ETA of 90 min. His tow truck showed up to the site 4 hours later. Albertos towing went above and beyond to help me out when I was stranded for over 4 hours (thanks alot AAA) canceled them the next day. Jesus showed up in the time he told me. Even went to change to a flat bed rig for my diesel truck. Battery was dead due to hazards being on for 4 hours. Truck wouldn't go into N he tried to slip linkage due to fuel flow during auxillary with key in, so had decided to just jump it. Limited fuel spill, got it in N and had it on flatbed trailer in 10 mins. Even during transit stopped 2x to check straps since truck barely fit and was heavy. He took extra care; was courteous and cautious. He delivered truck to the dealer and settled up payment when truck was on ground with zero issues and was gone all in about 50 minutes total from pick up to drop off. This guys saved me so much money and stress. I have an old rusted long bed in my garage. The clearance is real low and AAA could not get anyone to help. I then went on an expedition looking for a tow truck that was either low profile and could fit or someone that had equipment to push it out. The rear wheels were complete locked so it was no easy task. 14 tow truck companies would not do it. Guys came by and left literally left rushing out. Alberto's was the only one that actually said he would do it and text me when he was on the road. The price was reasonable and man, both the owner's son and one of the employees went above and beyond. They even have me a very detailed involve so that I could seek reimbursement from AAA. Others wanted to charge ridiculous amounts of cash for a job that took Alberto's 1 hour. They are the pros and the only tow truck drives I want to use if I'm in car trouble. Thanks guys! read more

Unfortunately I got into a big accident and the driver sped off. CHP offered towing but I said I'll use my Geico coverage. Geico picked a local company which is Albertos Towing and I'm glad because I like to support local businesses. The driver or dispatch was honest and sincere with ETA and services. They called me as a courteous about 2 times and confirmed my location. I thought that was very cool. Upon arrival I was happy with the quality of tow trucks they have versus some of the other tow trucks I seen when I used road side. The driver was very nice and sincere with regards to my shoulder pain and swollen hand from accident. He didn't want me to move much so he did everything himself. When we got to my place, again he offered to move car due to my injury. My adrenaline wore off and I was in pain. He thanked me for using Albertos services and I'm very glad and happy Geico uses them. I will be requesting their services more when I need a tow.
