I love Richard the store manager. He goes out of his way to help his customers when he can and is always friendly. My favorite checker is Letti. She is a little tough but also friendly and willing to do what she can for you. The meat department manager Don is a character himself and also gives great customer service. The meat department always has a good selection of meat and someone able to help you. Only bad part about this department is that corporate changed the hours they're available so going early in the morning is not always the best choice. Most of the people here are friendly and willing to help some. Biggest complaint is the bathrooms. Corporate needs to let them remodel those suckers already. No need to elaborate there. Also, baggers need to be trained better on what goes with what. I've actually had to tell them not to put boxed or canned foods with my meat. Seriously that is only common sense. Lastly, if you plan on using the kiddy carts I suggest you use a sanitizing wipe on it first. read more

Very disappointed! I ordered their turkey dinner meal with mashed potato, stuffing etc and I did it ahead of time. Today my husband pick it up and they said that they run out off turkey and instead they gave him a frozen boneless turkey. This is so ridiculous. Bad Service !!!! Just left here. Overall I think Albertsons is too expensive so I don't shop here much. But the other day I went to another location with my mom and saw a few deals so I figured would stop by this one closest to where I live. This one can be busy at times but never Walmart or winco foods busy for obvious reasons($$$). A pet peeve is the self checkout I sometimes have to flag someone down to get assistance with getting a bag as they aren't there they have to give them to you. Today They had decent deals on ice cream and a few essentials but what I like most about this one is the meat dep carries a spicy crab spread dip. Its imitation crab,cheese,cream cheese and a kick of something that gives it some heat. It's really good and versatile. A pound goes a long way . You can make crab California rolls,eat it with crackers or even eat it in a salad. Not all Albertsons carry it but the butcher told me you can ask the store to order it for you. read more

Albertson's isn't usually my go to store. That would be Ralph's. However, Albies does have good deals from time to time and that's when I visit. Non sale items are definitely too expensive but when it's on sale, it's a good deal. The reason for the 4 star review is the customer service. Every employee I've met here has been super friendly. Cashiers are talkative and you can tell they like their jobs. There have been times I've come here for items in the sale ad and the shelves are empty. Stock employees will take the time to look in the back for you and bring more items out. I've even had an employee carrying a 6 pack of iced tea bottles around the store looking for me. I don't shop at this Albertsons often only when I have to since it's pretty close by. The check out lines are usually long and it's because there is only one or two lines open. They have four self checkout stations but not always available at the same time. Plus it's not that convenient to use. One time, watermelons were on sale but when I scanned them during self checkout, the price was way off. They told me that I have to key in the code for fruits and vegetables instead of scanning. Anyways, don't like that place. read more

This place is very close to me, so I'm in there quite often. Lines are usually long. The meat isn't always fresh and the egg display is often quite disgusting. The last time I visited, the cashier wouldn't check us out until she finished her text. We literally loaded a careful of groceries onto the belt while she just stood there texting. read more

So I decided to order chicken from here for my sons birthday party because they had an online ordering system. I've never been here before, but thought I would give it a shot. We walk over to the deli section and I tell them I'm here to pick up my order for chicken and the guy asks me how many pieces and I couldn't hire remember as I ordered it two weeks in advance...so instead of just taking my name I had to look through all my emails until I found it...then he said it wouldn't be ready until exactly 1pm...it was 12:51, okay fine. So we go grab the other stuff we need and I could not find any rolls except the Hawaiian rolls but only in 4 packs, there were like no other rolls in the more area, which is weird. Eventually we go back over to the deli to get the chicken and he prints off a paper and says to take it to the front and someone will bring up the chicken. Why not I've is the paper to do that in the first place? We go to the front to pay and the guy is totally confused and said they normally don't do that, blah blah and eventually he sends someone to grab us the chicken. She brings up the chicken and the entire way the box is just leaking, she says "sorry, it's leaking everywhere" and hands it to us. No offer to even put it in a bag or wrap or box it better, just here you go. So we had to ask for a couple of bags to lay in the truck so it wouldn't leak chicken juice, overall it was just weird and everything was very over priced and didn't make me want to go back. However, I will give them credit for the chicken because it was actually pretty tasty. read more

I dread coming here, but being that its a few blocks away, I come here for quick items. It's always crowded, and there are so few humans manning cash registers. I have to use the human cashiers if I'm buying beer. The humans are so slow, scanning one item at a time at a snail's pace. They are friendly for the most part, but some are too friendly, often chatting with customers after they have been given their receipts while the line of four or five people wait. Ugh! I will drive the 4 miles to Ralph's if I'm getting a larger order. Come on management or corporate, get your stuff together here, I want to frequent you more often. read more

It is an Albertsons...but the sales don't seem to be that great. My biggest complaint is the check out lines. They are always long when I ago, and they don't open more. A big plus is that this store has TWO Redbox machines inside. They have a decent selection of goods. read more

I'm not really sure how great this supermarket really is, but I wasn't too impressed when I stopped in for lunch one day. I walked in expecting to find some kind of section off the Deli wall that had freshly prepared soups, sandwiches, or salads (like that of Vons/Pavillions, or Ralphs). Nothing. The only thing redeeming about this Albertsons was its Starbucks. Under time-restraints for my lunch break, I wasn't willing to venture elsewhere, so I decided to just grab a drink from the Starbucks that sits right within Albertsons' front doors. I never walk out of the Starbucks within this Albertsons unsatisfied. The baristas here are incredibly friendly, and they're always super forgiving whenever I make an error with my order (which is quite frequent). read more

I absolutely LOVE this store. I've lived in arcadia for almost 3 years and I visit this location almost twice a day. Every employee is always so helpful, nice, and I really enjoy everyone. They do their absolute best to make sure everything is in stock, and Richard is really on point. They have barbecues on the weekend, easter egg hunts, and other fun stuff like chili roasting. I have even had a hard time thinking about ever moving because it's just such a nice place to do my grocery shopping. read more

First off, The staff are very unprofessional. Secondly , There's never enough people in the front end. I wanted to speak to a manger and asked the bagger to call one for me. She asked the checker 4x. He never called and continued to check people out. She just stood there staring at me. I asked another person to call on wand she said, I'm sorry I'm going on my break and walked away. Convenient location! Wells Fargo and starbucks inside the grocery store. Deli service is good and most of their staff is friendly. I like shopping there and self checkout is very convenient as well. Cesar chicken salad I see really good but most of the time they run out of it early. read more

I just finished my shopping and I cannot believe how rude the employees are . They ( the checkout lady at my check out and the check out lady to the right) were rude to a customer in front of me and as soon as she left they began talking bad about her right in front of me, a customer, as well as others around us. I was not greeted when it was my turn and she was very rude to me as well. And when I informed an employee that I accidentally dropped something and it made a small mess, the girl heard me because she was looking at me while I was explaining to her what happen but disregarded me and walked away while I was asking her a question of what to do with the broken product . I don't know how a manager allows this type of behavior from not just one but 3 employees (that I know of, there could be more). They are not professional at all. This store would get zero stars if it weren't for the butcher area. Everyone who works back there is great. As for everything else, not so great. There are always long lines at the checkout, despite the "3 is a crowd" slogan. This of course causes people with way to many groceries to go to self checkout. I'm not sure there has every been a time all the self checkouts were working. Then when you do need assistance at one, there is never anyone working there. I would just like to thank all the employees for being so helpful! Being out in the heat with all the ashes in the air is so bad for your lungs, so I really appreciate all the people helping out and pushing carts in the heat. I came in yesterday early in the evening and the manager Michael had to handle a situation with a customer right next to me. He handled the situation very very well because this man was really mad for no reason at all, and I do not think i could have done it any better. I come here often and I know Micheal treats everyone with love and respect. He is always on his A game taking care of his customers and employees like a professional.There was also a younger lady who was sweet enough to move us into another check stand to get help because the customer would not stop arguing. From my view the employees were doing their job and handling everything well. Seems like the customer just had a bad day. She apologized for the inconvenience and was very polite and helpful. She took care of her customers and employees. You can tell there is a lot of teamwork in this store which I really appreciate, especially with this whole pandemic. l love this store and I mainly come here because they are hardworking, friendly, and show kindness so thank you :) read more

I wish I could give zero stars. Horrible store. We moved to Arcadia six months ago, and I've been tolerating shopping at this Albertsons. No more! Their customer service is horrible. One time, at the meat counter, a guy came out from the back, told me he was on break, and walked away. I went right around closing time. One stand was open and there were about 8 things there but no customer(s). The checker just kinda looked around for a few minutes then yelled to a manager not in sight if he could cancel to take me. Then the people came back and he started to ring things up, but some were not valid for the coupons they had. So they left to look for the right item. Again, I'm standing there with only a few items, and he's letting these people just take their time. Finally he finishes with them, and rings me up. He asks if I want a bag, and I say no thanks. Then he puts everything in the bag and says quietly under his breath that he won't charge me for it. Wow... a 10-cent gesture for me waiting for like 10 minutes. Then, when I get home, an item isn't in the bag (a loaf of bread.) Now maybe that's partially my fault, but I sure didn't see it, and most checkers will not let you leave until you grab your stuff... especially if they pack it - and it would have fit in the bag! So, back I go with my receipt to tell them the bread didn't make it home with me, and they said (as I expected) to just go and grab one. I told them that was about the worst shopping experience I'd had there, and they said unconvincingly, sorry about that. Aldy is so much better, Ralphs is so much better. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. Not for me, but for you. Life is too short to put up with such lousy service. Icing on the cake: All my neighbors are talking about what a rip-off they are. I had preordered a cake (three weeks in advanced) to take to Pomona and they didn't have my cake ready on that day. I had asked for the cake to be ready by 8am I had went around 9 and they told me they meant to call me because they couldn't find the designed. Once they found The designed they told me it'll be done in an hour. I had left from there at 9:50. I had send someone to pick it up. My friend had went at 12 and they still didn't have it ready!!! This place is usually busy in the evenings especially on Mondays and Fridays. I stopped by on a Friday after work with my 3.5 yr old son. This trip turned out to be one of those days where everything takes longer with a kid and nothing is going right. Mike opened another register due to the lines getting longer. As Mike was ringing up my groceries he noticed that I was all over the place trying to juggle my phone with the store app to download the digital coupon (I forgot to complete ahead of time and had trouble finding the right coupons to add to my account) while keeping an eye on my son and worrying about the people behind me as the line kept growing longer. Mike was very professional and polite the entire time I was there. Since I was having trouble finding the coupons and while trying to get my phone working my son wouldn't stay still long enough for me to look through my phone and did not want to sit in the cart. I could feel the people behind me wondering why I was taking so long. At one point I thought about leaving the line and waiting until the crowd died down a bit so I wouldn't be rushed and worried about my son all at the same time. I asked Mike to ring the person behind me first but he didn't want to do that since I was already in line first. Mike then helped me with putting my groceries in my cart and also asked if I needed help to my car. I was having one of those days and the way Mike handled everything made me think about how I appreciated the time and effort he took in helping me.
