This store need to get new management and employees. I stood at the meat counter for 20 mins and no one showed up. I went to a supervisor which called the manager Lawrence 4 times. She called the manager named Lawrence to come back and no one showed up stating he went to lunch. Then why didn't they have a replacement. Sandra said the guy in the meat department was supposed to go to lunch before his replacement left. That is a horrible management team. Numerous customers came and left. The store is conveniently located near my home. They have good sales and great produce to choose from. They provide samples of some food and during football season if you wear cowboys gear you get an additional 10% off. Registers are often quick...no long lines. read more

So disappointed. We ordered two turkey dinners, and one ham dinner for a party. They make it sound like they prepare everything from the deli and you just reheat. Yes the ham and Turkey are cooked, but they re-frozen. They don't tell you that anywhere. They gave us no time to re-thaw for the party. And the sides are all tv dinner style packaged. Nothing fresh. We could have spent less money and just cooked a full meal for the same amount of cost and trouble they're making us do just to heat all this. I'm livid. This really sucks Albertsons. We went to Albertson's in Cedar Hill, TX on Friday, April 10th to pick up a few thing before going back home to Shelter in Place. Hat's off to this location for having all the essential stuff we needed, plus a few extras. However, the point of this post is to let you know who wonderful the general manager was. Someone a hunk of beef that was mislabeled was priced at $47.10, yes, 2 pounds of beef, nothing fancy, not prime rib, a basic 2 pound hunk of beef. After going over my receipts and trying to figure out why roughly 60 bucks worth of food/non food item came up to $114.00 I notice that I was charged $47.10 for this beef, I promptly took it back into the store and told the lady working at customer service that we did not intend to spend 47.10 on 2lbs of beef, point to the "Corona Virus" return policy, tapped it twice with her pin and said 'sorry, no returns it's the law (rude). Pissed, I went back to my car, and then my husband noticed that price on the meat had been marked down from $47.10 to $9.08 with meant we SHOULD HAVE PAID ONLY $9.08, I ran my butt back into the store and while waiting to got back to the same customer service chick (dreading my impending conversation with her) the general manager walked up to me, ask me if he could help (extremely polite man, tall, Hispanic looking, lean with great hair) and I explained to him the situation, he promptly instructed the chick in customer service to return all of my money and apologized for the mislabeling of the slab of meat. He then took a picture of the price on the meat and said he would ensure that things were correctly moving forward. I customer service chick acted like she was really annoyed with having to return the money (rude), however, I thanked them both and took my $47.10 meat and my refund as skipped happily out of the store. While Albertsons is more convenient to go to when it is important to save time. It can at times be a little more costly. I do enjoy however being able to run in out without being in such long lines like Walmart. They will often run promotions were you can play games to win prices and gift cards for free groceries... Also if you can get discounts if you wear Cowboy fear during foot ball season. What I enjoy the most is their fresh seafood that they have. So while I they have some cons their pros out way them. So when I want convenience this is my go to place. They selections are good and you can pick up all your needs without going to many different stores to get what you need or looking for. read more

Used to come here weekly since 2002, but the workers that made it friendly left. I still stop by now and then but the feel is just different. It was a family feel until about two years ago. I can find better prices elsewhere, with the same kind of workers that replaced so many friendly faces. The days of being asked if I needed help to the car with my groceries are gone. read more

To be fair I have to say in advance that I'm from south texas where HEB reigns supreme. Albertsons is relatively small but they do have shrimp that they steam and season for you. That's my favorite. The staff are pretty helpful too. We saw a patio set on display. Normally I wouldn't ever buy any furniture from a grocery store but I decided to here. Our little patio set fits our little porch perfectly. It's not the greatest quality but the price matches the quality. If you're buying food here. It is higher priced compared to HEB. I track prices using the out of milk app. Great place if you're looking for a deal on steak. read more

They had HALF OF WINE!!! Need I say more? Lol This is my family's go to supermarket. They usually have what we need and I really appreciate the seafood counter. Which recently has been really clean and fresh smelling (no fish smell). We tried the self check out which was fine and the helper there made sure we didn't have any issues. On a separate occasion my only issue was the younger staff who don't all have the same level of manners and customer service but hey teens need honest money too read more

I don't shop here often but that's likely to change. Employees and customers are quite friendly here as opposed to another nearby grocery store down the road. Store is stocked and clean. If you're looking for fresh seafood try this Alberson location in Cedar Hill. I purchased fresh whole catfish and asked for it to be butterflied, this is when the fish is filleted leaving the bone in the center and the meat falling from each side. If you r familiar with this technique & r looking for some place close to get fresh fish and have it filleted your way go to Albertsons Cedar Hill and ask for the meat market manager Robert, great job Robert, thanks. read more

I didn't think I stood a snowball's chance in a hot oven of finding meat, bread, and eggs yesterday during this corona virus didbut I tried this store since I needed to drop off a package at nearby UPS store. I was overjoyed to find everything I couldn't get anywhere else. And the employees were so pleasant and helpful. They had the checkout going as fast and well organized as possible. I was so happy! I'm going to continue to patronize the store. It's obviously well managed. read more

The people behind the pharmacy counter have no compassion and will not help you out incase of an emergency where you've run out of meds. They will not work with you or even give you a couple days supply until you see your doctor. This is a very bad pharmacy here. Go to CVS or Walgreens instead of this pharmacy. read more

Seriously poor customer service. When there's a problem with a transaction it'd be nice to be notified that they're experiencing difficulty and it'll be longer than 5-10 minutes. There were two cashiers standing there one of them was supposed to be on the express line. Neither informed me and she even went back to her register. Next a manager walked over to help continue the transaction and after that she went to the customer behind me and checked her out!!! Seriously lacking in judgement and courtesy. I will not be returning to this grocery store no matter how badly I need groceries if they're managers are this poor. read more
