I'm a busy mom to a young kiddo, soon to be two young kids, and I don't care to take a toddler in grocery shopping. I've been doing grocery pick up every week, a couple times a week even, for over a year. My expectations for customer service has reached a low standard so if I'm disappointed, that's really saying something. Just when you think their service can't get any worse, it does. I've shopped here for 30 years and tolerated most things purely out of convenience. Today was my breaking point. You would never guess unemployment is approaching 5% with the quality of staff this store hires to care for its customer base. Christina S., the outdoor cart attendant, is rude and argumentative. DeShawn, the manager on duty, stated she is special needs and that somehow excused her unacceptable behavior. She presented herself as very capable and also possessed a snarky vocabulary. DeShawn didn't possess the aptitude to address the complaint properly and needs basic management training. Overall, the service just keeps getting worse. The store is very dirty and outdated. Used their home delivery. Ordered groceries and a six pack of beer. Because of liquor the young driver needed to see an i.d. of course. But for some reason couldn't enter my wife's driver's license. My wife came to get me. I just got out of hospital with a back operation and can hardly move but went to door and gave her my i.d. She worked on it for over 5 minutes and couldn't figure it out. Couldn't explain to me what the problem was because she didn't speak one word of English. So she loaded everything up and left. So not only did i not get a beer but no groceries now either. Called customer service and they told me they had no control over their drivers since they use 3rd party drivers. Told them they may want to rethink that policy because they still represent them. If I could give this store a 10 I would. The store is so clean and well lit I've shopped in many other stores I feel like something you don't notice unless it's missing. It's very well organized and well stocked. They have great sales and the employees are very friendly and kind and never roll their eyes when I forget to clip a coupon and they fix my sale for me. read more

Let me start by saying I am a more than a regular customer here. I frequent this location every week. The cashier Laura was awful & rude. Funny, the couple in front of me she held up the line for quite a bit to talk to. There was one other person in front of me, while we patiently waited she bagged all their groceries, continued talking & then finally handed them their receipt, was all pleasant & then when I got up to the line she looked at me once & never again. No hi, no did you find everything you need, zero! She didn't even bother to say one word to me. No, instead she started stacking all my groceries on the end of the counter & pushed my cart past her & up to the end for me to bag my own groceries. NEVER have I been treated like that at this location! I started bagging my own groceries & at the end she bagged my last bag & threw it in my cart & said nothing. I asked her if my receipt was in the bag & she said yes. Nothing else. That was it! WOW! If that didn't give off the rudest person vibes idk what would. And my question is, why? Why act like that? Because I didn't fit your criteria? I will NEVER go through her line ever again! Idc if I have to wait! Unbelievable!!! It took every ounce of me not to say something straight to her but, why waste my time on a miserable judgy person who obviously hates their job, or maybe it's just certain people. The current management at this location is completely ineffective and there is a desperate need for a fresh, new approach. The prices are significantly higher compared to Sprouts, which is located across the street. In addition, many employees here seem to spend a lot of time socializing with each other and with customers, which makes this location extremely slow. It would be beneficial to consider hiring more cashiers to improve the overall efficiency of the store. Overall, it's absolutely filthy and I found some of the vegetables to be rotten. Clean, fresh veggies at produce and fresh seafood. Lots of cashiers were available and friendly. The cashier took time to get to know me during checkout. I'd recommend this location. 5/21/2023 at 3:30pm I stopped by the cake department and asked the bakery staff for a double layer carrot cake. She said no ( I was still seeing on in the fridge). I asked her one more time for the one-layer, she said no as well ( there is also a one-layer cake in the fridge). I showed her that there are both two ones in the fridge, how could she say no. She picked the double layer one for me but she was very angry. She put my cake on the table very strongly, she packed the cake in the box and threw on table one more time. Albertson's has high prices for Arizona-- reminds of California. that's my major complaint. This one looks a bit out of date, too which makes the relatively high prices a bit disorienting. But it's that Albertsons/Safeway merger...they're on a mission to reduce competition like the airlines. Quite a few prices are either not showing or mislabeled. It's worse elsewhere, but maybe second worst here, with Walmart being the worst. Some of the pricing has that annoying, game playing attribute. Phone number gets you one discount (UPromise), digital coupon another, red hair on Tuesdays at 3:30 pm unless it's cloudy approach. Buy 4 it's 1.99, buy 1, 2, or 3 it's 4.99 each. All this is written in small font, off to the side. This level of trickery amounts to dishonesty, really nearly theft. it's so bad! I believe this plus the airlines and maybe hospitals is a big part of the reason America is pissed off! Still as they say in Kentucky, "if your gonna be dumb, ya gotta be tough", If you're not going to play the grocery industry's games you gotta be rich. Hey, if you shop at Albertson's you must have money to burn! Probably because of the higher prices, somewhat shoddy look, at least this tends to be less crowded. read more

I like frequent this location for their floral bouquets, lotto machine, and mai tai elixirs! It never fails when I am walking thru the aisles that the employees ask how are things going. I've never walked aimlessly struggling to find things... or maybe I have looked lost and that is why they always ask!! LOL I will def keep coming back to this location! read more

This is a nicely organized grocery store with wide aisles and a good selection of products. No issues or concerns with the physical store - it is clean, well maintained, spacious, and well stocked. The people that work here are also friendly. The reason that I'm only giving them four stars is because they take too long to open additional lanes. My typical experience is that the two lanes they have open have to be 5 or 6 people deep before they open an additional lane and that is frustrating. But outside of that, no complaints. read more

This is a good grocery. Their produce is generally pretty good, as are their meats. The rest of the store is pretty much like any other (canned foods, dry goods, soda, etc). The staff here are generally helpful and courteous. One major 'plus' is that they don't do loyalty cards here. Tired of trying to find that silly card so you can get your sale prices (which are only for "members")? Well, they don't do that. The downside is that I find them more expensive than Fry's or Basha's (and about the same as Safeway). But if you shop the specials you can get a good deal, too. Oh...their fried chicken is really very good. Better than any of the other grocery stores we've tried, and honestly I like it better than KFC (though KFC has gone in quality down the past several years). read more

I shop here a lot. I usually go here or to Sprouts across the street. Their produce is always in great condition and they have everything I need. Their bananas are especially good quality. The cashiers can sometimes be a bit slow but I have learned which cashiers are faster and which to avoid. They often will look for a discount in their flyer if they see you have something and will apply the coupon to it for you. I only wish they had self checkout lanes. read more

The deli department is absolutely terrible. I bought ground beef the other day with a net weight of 3.58 pounds on the packaging and when I got home and weighed it myself (with the packaging too), it showed as 3.10. This wasn't the first discrepancy that has happened to me this week. read more

Nice store right off Sandpipper. Sam helped me check out. I dont have the app for the electronic coupons but he was nice enough to give me the coupon price. Of course stores who refuse can be hit with a discrimination lawsuit as many people dont have phone which allow apps and not all people have computers.... I ran into this store on my way home from work. It's by my work, not my home and it's the first time I've been here. What a wonderful experience. I'm not one to write reviews ever but I was impressed. Th young man Kevin working at self checkout was awesome! I purchased the Deli eight piece baked chicken. It was very dry. The deli lady gave me the driest piece of chicken they had. Customer service is truly lacking for the evening crew. The deli counter, meat counter and check out lady were just as dry as the chicken. No greetings, nor eye contact. I've received more conversation from the do it yourself checkout counter at Walmart, at least it says "thank you for coming." read more

Prices aren't the greatest, somewhere between Fry's and Walmart...I'd rather go to Wal-mart. Selection isn't too good at this one. Presentation is only ok most times I've been in here. They have a red box that actually doesn't see much traffic (awesome). Their fried chicken is the worst fried chicken I have ever attempted to eat. It tastes like...ungood. Their rotisserie chicken is good, though. Those are the only hot foods I've had here. I've had good customer service, and I've had bad customer service. Admittedly more good than bad. But the bad pissed me off so much, I have avoided Albertson's lately. Both spots at the customer service desk had the 'closed' sign on them, and I needed a money order. I asked if there was somewhere else I could get one (like at a cashier or something) and he says dryly, "Right here." It had the tone behind it as though he were saying, "Yeah right here, retard." I ignored it and told him how much I needed one for. "Cash only." he says in that same get-hit-in-the-face tone. I just said ok, and left. The problem is that I just got a money order using my plastic not even a month ago. I guess a review isn't a place to vent, but still. Look out for the jerk with the yellow glasses on. And they do have some good sales at times. And I've also never gotten any less than fresh meat here. read more

Rotten meat, on self for 12 days said in date get it home and it smelled like crap! Produce is hit or miss, got peppers with mold inside, poor tasting fruit, it's like they buy low quality. I used to come here pretty often. Prices are definitely higher than most places. At the right times you could definitely get some great deals though. Some of the cashiers give a vibe off like they don't wanna be there but I would say it's only 2 or so. The managers are really cool especially the 2 younger guys and the girl with the tattoos. They're really friendly and even if it was short always took time to even have a conversation with me. I needed to have a cake made for my daughter's baby shower. She was having a boy and the theme was "robots" and she had provided some pictures to assist. I met with Priscilla, Head Baker, at Albertson's and discussed what I was looking for. Priscilla indicated that she could do it and quoted a price. Two days before the shower, she indicated the price would be a little more...which was agreeable to me. However, when I went to pick up the cake, Priscilla indicated the cake did not come out looking like she had wanted and she charged me the original price. The cake was exactly what we had wanted and, in fact, at the baby shower, no one thought it was a cake....they thought it was part of the decorations. Not only did the look of the cake meet our expectations, the cake was delicious. Five stars and a thumbs up for the Bakery and Priscilla at Albertsons. read more
