While this Albertson's location tells me I have to wait for their meat truck to arrive to get a Prime Rib - the meat department at Ralphs fresh fare asks me what size I want and what time I want to come get it. Customer Service and Cleanliness of this store have gone down hill since this time last year - regular cashiers are all working at other stores to get hours and the new cashiers are slow and dull. I was told by a cashier that in reaction to the influx of lower income renters, this Albertsons has also started stocking lesser quality goods and eliminating the gourmet ingredients I buy frequently. The convenience of this store is no longer worth the extra trips to other chains (or to the better stocked/cleaner Albertson's on Irvine Blvd) I have to make to get the items my family likes. It's worth the higher prices and longer trip to get exactly what I'm looking for. read more

The meat there isn't fresh. The beef was turning brown and the chicken had a funny smell. They understaff their store. It's so hard to find someone to help. I have always enjoyed Albertsons, but only go to this one because I use their pharmacy, and those people are so nice, I would never want to switch. Last time I was there, the BATHROOM WAS SO DIRTY. WATER ALL OVER THE FLOOR, USED PAPER TOWELS EVERYWHERE. I've seen cleaner bathrooms in Tijuana gas stations. I do think the Albertson's on Alton has a much more interesting selection of merchandise. Their tri-tip on the deli is outstanding, the ethnic section is much larger. And as far as prices go, I think Ralph's has the lowest prices, but the Ralphs closest to me (Walnut and Culver) is a joke. They remodeled it and it's now worse than ever. read more

I only shop here because it's the closest grocery store to where I live. The staff is pretty friendly but the produce is just awful. I always make my Yucky-yuck face when I examine the wilted bunches and heads of leafy greens. This on top of the limited selection AND high costs = bad triple-whammy. You're much better off heading farther down the street to Zion Market or Ralphs if you're looking for decent produce. read more

I avoid shopping here as much as possible. I have to sometimes for convenience and lack of time. It's nice and big, but some of the staff and one of the managers here are really annoying. I moved a year ago closer to the Spectrum. I went to this store because they sell cut up fruit at a reasonable price vs other grocery stores. Well today I was very surprised that they have handicapped people working. It warmed my heart one of the guys took my stuff and put it in my truck without me asking me was so sweet and genuine it made my day. I feel like more stores should give people the opportunity to work even if they are disabled. I will go back here just because I respect that. I was also in the store and one of the employees came up to me and offered to fix my basket I guess I had part of it up and he didn't want my stuff to fall out. This is a great location with very friendly staff. Everyone is always so helpful but not hovering. The lines are never long, there is almost always a self check stand open and available. They have a very nice and large produce section, and there is usually someone there so that is nice. The gentleman that most recently helped me was able to cut a cabbage in half for me since that's all I needed for my corned beef :) The parking is usually pretty good, being able to find a spot in the first three spots on a row almost every time. read more

**This review is for their bakery department** I was introduced to this particular Albertson's bakery department by my wedding coordinator. I didn't use them for my wedding, but for my son's 1st birthday party, his 2nd birthday party, and my daughters 1st birthday party. Their 1st birthday parties are mini weddings in itself. The cake designers are amazing and I can't believe I can get a custom cake for less than $30. Normally, custom cakes run in the 100's. I don't remember the name of the last two that did my cakes, but the recent designer's name is Sarah. She is AMAZING! I really never know what I want the cake to look like exactly, but I give her a general idea and she runs with it. And she definitely met and exceeded my expectations. My daughters birthday party was a Hawaiian luau theme and she made the cutest cake ever! I will definitely post pictures when I get them from the photographer. Sarah was very helpful and didn't mind that I came back three of four times with different suggestions (i'm a little neurotic sometimes). She's a cake genius. In addition to the cake I also get cupcakes.. $14 for 24 cupcakes - what a deal. Oh yeah, if it's a 1st birthday party they give you a free smash cake! Score!!! This review is for the Sav-On Pharmacy located inside this Albertsons. The staff including the pharmacists are terrible when it comes to customer service. Ever time I've gone in I've waited 30-45 mins for my prescription that I get every month and you'd think they'd have it down after a year right? Nope! Then they have the audacity to give you an attitude when you question what took so long...and it's the same excuse every time- "we are backed up blah blah blah" Well maybe if you ladies chit chat less then you won't be backed up every time!!! I'm typically a very patient person but after today I decided to transfer my file to another Pharmacy. Yes it took me a year to do so but I had hope that maybe on the 3rd, 4th-10th, 11th month they might get it right and cut back on the attitude, guess not. read more

I was very disappointed in the broccoli I purchased at Albertsons this afternoon. I spent 15$ on organic broccoli for dinner and when I got it home and took it out of the produce bag it was placed in and there were bugs all over the inside of the crowns. I can't tell you how many times I've had to let a worker know something was expired that they're trying to sell or how many times I've had to return expired food. Ive only been going to this albertsons for about 10 months. At first I thought it was Gods gift to man to have a grocery store so close to where I live, but I found out real quick this place sucks. On to occasions I have purchased items from here that had tears in the bag. You think theyd check their shit before they put it on the shelves. I been here a lot of times since this location is the closest location to my house and every time there is only one cashier and I have to wait forever every single time ,The service is really bad no one around to help no one around to answer any question the whole place looks like a run by one cashier he can't keep his place.
