I also wonder why the prices feel higher than other grocery stores. I mean I would never mind paying a little more if you at least have everything we need. I'm rating the bakery department. I've been dealing with them over the phone with custom cake ordering questions. I've called 3 times already. Every time I have called I am always treated with respect and patience. I never felt that I was being rushed to get off the phone. The very worst order delivery system that I have come across and I order everything online! They have in the last few orders send my grocery to the wrong house, over charged me, missed more than one item in my cart, and last order was never delivered! This Albertson's is on my way home from work, so I tend to shop here a lot, especially Monday nights when they have their Monday chicken meal deal! You get one whole rotisserie chicken, fries, 4-pieces of Hawaiian bread, a 2L bottle of Coke/Diet Coke, and your choice of macaroni salad, cole slaw or potato salad. However, after 4pm, there is a long line of people at the deli for this deal. I recently had a bad experience at the deli. I was patiently waiting my turn. A customer comes up to the deli cashier and proceeds to order. I complained saying that I was waiting since I was next. He simply shrugged his shoulders and continued to help out the other person. Wow, that's bullshit! This location is much larger than the ones in Northridge and Granada Hills. Also their produce is fresher than the other two locations mentioned. read more

Butcher ripped my wife off for ordering 2 tri-tip steaks and he sold them for $7.99 per pound, UNTRIMMED! 1.4 pounds of fat cap left on so Albertsons charged my wife over $8 for garbage fat. I thought this overcharge the house-wife garbage stopped in years ago. shouldn't be surprised from a store that wraps potatoes individually to sell them for 100% then the bulk russets. read more

There are only a handful of Albertson's Supermarkets left in So Cal. This is one of them. They are on the corner of Saticoy and Tampa, nestled in a moderate sized strip mall which is surrounded with various shops and services. This Albertson's is one of my favorites and closest to my daily shopping circle. They always have fresh bread, produce and I come here especially for the fresh Horseradish root. It is hard to find in most stores. The layout of the store is nice and easy to follow with it's fluency. The store personnel are always smiling and happy to help you find something. They have a good meat department with almost all of the popular cuts. The dairy department is also well arranged. The floors are kept clean most of the time which provides for a safe environment and a happy shopping experience each time. read more

They're okay, typical supermarket. No self-checkout machines. Sometimes there are homeless outside. Be careful buying juices here, make sure you check the expiration dates, I've seen on 3 different occasions where they were selling expired juices. Once I saw one that was expired for over a month and a half. Don't use the pharmacy inside, I did that one-time, the pharmacist was an old man with a very heavy accent. My mom just had the worst experience in the pharmacy one of the pharmacist named Margaret should not be working at a place were people go to get medication for their health she was so rude.....My mom went to pick up her medication because she received a text message that her medication was ready and when she arrived and Margaret asked her why was she their my mom told her to pick up her medicine and when she checked she told my mom you don't have medication ready my mom told her but I received a text and thats when Margaret yelled at her saying I don't care about the message I told you their no medication for you when you work at a place like this you need to be nice and understanding to customers. read more

I went there to buy mustard and ketchup for a BBQ around 3pm on a Thursday and the store was half empty with only 2 registers open. YET it took over 5 minutes for it to be my turn to buy it because the register guy and bag boy was taking too long with the only one customer they were with so I just walked out and went to 7'11 across the street and just bought it there. This is the closest Albertsons [grocery store] to my home and I pass by it quite often. I have grown to know and recognize a lot of the staff that work here, and they are all very friendly and helpful. They remember their customers and the stories you tell them. It's great that they stay on such a personal basis, it makes it a much warmer and welcoming environment to shop in. Sometimes it does get too hectic and there aren't always enough lanes open on checkout but overall its good. The remodeling really helped spiff up the place also, definitely love the new look and organization then how it used to be :) read more

I requested medication with the pharmacy and it has not been filled yet over a week. Can't get RX transfer because no one will answer the pharmacy phone. I went in and the pharmacist stated it will take while longer. I asked how long she states a WHILE longer due to vaccination. There is a person from Kaiser sitting infront shuffling paper work. Not sure what his role is. The pharmacist feels vaccines are more important than filling patients prescriptions and its ok to hold it for over a week. Not sure about the legality of it but its certainly unethical. Filed a complaint with Albertson tl online form, someone emailed they will get back to me. read more

They have the best dang Spicy guacamole and fresh tortilla chips ever. HANDS DOWN. Whoever makes the guacamole at this store needs a promotion. The man working in the deli section was super kind and packed in more Ceasar chicken salad into a container for my daughter. He also let us know where the freshest tortilla chips were located. By this store having out delicious samples of chips and guacamole I had no choice but to buy some. I love when stores give away free samples. It is a great gesture. Even the young lady sweeping the aisles greets everyone as she notices them. I love when stores have employees that make shopping an enjoyable experience. Thumbs up for this Albertsons. read more

Albertsons is a good 'go-to' place for anything grocery wise. This particular location is clean and I've only really encountered friendly, helpful employee's even if they're closing in 3 minutes and you REALLY need to put some food in your refrigerator. And like they rest, they've got a good selection of pre-made food for those lazy days, flowers, and a decent meat department. It's no Charlies Butcher from 1956 but, it does the job for a last minute BBQ All in all... So far so good. read more

This Albertsons is consistently a five star experience. I've had a couple experiences that weren't that good in the two years I've been there but for the most part, it's great! The cashiers are so kind, and courteous. They are conversational and they seem like they actually enjoy helping you. This is the best place to go to if you're going to a part y and need to grab a pastry or something to bring with you. Even the cakes are good prices and very delicious. There are a couple of really nice cashiers there who are really pleasant. Margaret in the pharmacy usually seems rushed and short tempered. I only go to Albertsons' for their bakery. In particular, when the Ladyfriend cooks up lasagna or spaghetti, she will send me for their fresh baked baguette (that is French bread). I usually end up being rang up by Ashley, well at least the last 4 times I've been in there. She is awesome, very friendly and always positive to work with. Also, their bakery chocolate chip cookies are good. The only thing I'd say is a bit unnerving is that the fish counter in the back, is ummmm a bit malodorous. And there can be a lot of people hanging around the entrances selling, collecting, etc. That is really annoying at times. But the workers here are super friendly. read more

I come here for the great Refresher brand spring water they have@great price. The organic produce is usually pretty good and the prices are fair. Eddie and Ashly always greet me with a smile and a rain check if I need something. I can shop anywhere bc I work on Ventura near many grocery stores but the employees and value keep me coming back. Okay, I went to this Albertsons again and they have made some changes to the employees working there. The new people are super friendly. I couldn't believe the cheerful smiles I was receiving from all these new/transferred employees. Dana was super nice while she was checking my items at the register. This left me feeling warm and fuzzy so I have started shopping there regularly. Now, if they could do something about their high prices I would gladly give them 4 stars. Oh, one last thing- Beware, never buy the Alta Dena brand of milk there. For one reason or another it goes bad within two days of buying it. This has happened to me at least 5 times. Ok so finally I got the chance to make a review about this store. I don't like it! People are not helpful and not friendly. For the store itself, it's big and organize but still you can't find anyone around to ask for help. I know they put labels and signs about where to get the products but why is it still hard to find it? Lol. There must be something wrong about how they put and arrange things because there were two of us shopping and we feel the same way.lol. Anyhow. Last time I went there I used my first coupon, I was excited how much I can save. Ok so this location has a pretty descent produce department which is definitely a plus, but beware they have the absolute worst meat department. 2 separate times I have bought meat which was spoiled even though it said it had been packaged on the day I bought it. Yesterday I bought a family pack of pork chops and a pack of trimmed chicken breasts. When I got home to marinate them the smell coming off the pork chops was absolutely foul. The chicken was even worse. It was obviously rotten and past it's date, but had been repackage with a new date. These kinds of practices are deplorable and Albertsons you should be ashamed read more
