    Treats

I stopped by this Trader Joe's to look at treats I can get my friend for his birthday. I never been to this Trader Joe's location so I was interested to see how it is here. This store is in a big plaza so there a lot of parking. The store is medium size and you can basically see everything the store has once you walk inside. The wines are on the left side of the store. The refrigerated food are in the middle of the store and also some chocolate treats too.

We came for their pastel mini bags. It was watched like a hawk, and limited to two, one per color. But at least we got them, for $2.99 each. Parking in this shopping center was okay. The aisles at this Trader Joe's was bright and wide. When my friend was accidentally over charged and it was brought to their attention, the cashier was apologetic and fixed it for us.

I love this Trader Joe's. It's very clean and spacious inside. Service is on point and the food is healthy and affordable. This location is in a shopping center with several stores and eateries. Easy parking.

Top customer service. Awesome selection of products. Bought the fresh squeezed lemonade 3 days in a row to get through this heat wave. The lemonade was perfect for hot summer days! Loved it and so many other items at Trader Joe's. Easy parking. Fresh flowers and plants too! Reasonable prices. An associate got me out of line so I wouldn't have to wait to check out! Greatly appreciated.

All the food is pricy but that's what you expect from trader Joe's. Service is great, all the employees are willing to help to the best of their needs. Parking is okay. Everything is spaced nicely and is clean inside the store.

The second spacious TJ that I have visited. Aisles are spacious, there is enough room for carts to move around. You're not elbow to elbow with other customers. If you need products that are private labeled, certain brands or diet, I am sure you can find them here. Sales associates are accommodating and ready to open a register if they see a line for 2 to 3 people. Which is awesome!!! Ample parking but it gets busy at times.

I stood in the sandwich/deli area for several minutes with no acknowledgment. Since no one came over, I walked to the hot food side where the employee was already assisting others. After finishing with those customers, the employee looked directly at me and then walked away to do other tasks without saying a word. No greeting, no "I'll be right with you," nothing. A second, younger employee came over and also failed to acknowledge me, even though I was clearly standing there waiting. Shortly after, another customer approached. I saw her arrive after I had already been waiting, yet she was helped before me without any explanation. I continued to stand there, still unacknowledged, until I finally had to speak up and say, "I've been standing here." At that point, I was told the other customer had been there before me, which was not accurate based on what I observed. The entire situation felt disorganized, dismissive, and honestly very rude--especially since I was standing there with my daughter the entire time. This could have easily been avoided with basic communication. A simple acknowledgment or a clear system for helping customers (like a number system) would go a long way. Instead, it felt like customers could be ignored and skipped with no accountability. Very disappointing experience.

The boomer looked me dead in the eye & replied, "No, he hasn't managed to colonize Italy yet." Fucking INSUFFERABLE. Not EVERY exchange needs to include your political commentary. I wanted WINE not WHINE! Also, this location doesn't stock anything consistently BUT wine. Avoid.

This has to be the most un-authentic Vallarta I've ever been to, nothing about it is what I recall…read moreof Vallarta from when I was little. The quality of foods at this Vallarta is very poor. Especially when it comes to their ceviche as well as to their hot bar. Today I purchased a grilled chicken combo with a side of canned refried beans, the beans tasted like canned beans- something that's been premade and prepackaged. The rice is dry. The chicken is dry. There's was even hair on the skin of the chicken. This is just very disappointing. Not just that, to top it all off you can tell that at this Vallarta the main motive is money, because everything is overpriced and the quality it's not worth the price. One thing that definitely made me review my experience was the work environment- which seem hostile. I witnessed when the manager of the store or the kitchen walked in and not acknowledge the workers -walked straight passed them; like he was king out of the hill. Up on receiving my food- the ladie serving my food, asked if I wanted a bag? I said yes, and then she proceeded to ask me to go pay for the bag- at the cashier. I explained to her that I was never offered a bag when I purchased my combo, so I found it a little bit annoying that she was asking me to go back to the register and pay for a $.25cent bag. The lady proceeded to honored me a free bag, even though her coworker was telling her how she was going to get in trouble by the supervisor or the manager for giving me a free bag which just correlates with my analogy of this place being in a hostile work environment place where superiority is completely approved by higher management. The fact that your own employees feel threatened to provide a customer with a small item that cost is zero to nothing speaks a lot about the way that management handles their employees and customer needs. Anyhow, this has been my local Vallarta for a long time, but there's a lot to desire from this location as I used to go to the location in Canoga Park on Sherman Way and their hot bar was completely better more fresh, the service and working environment seem a little bit more friendly. I suggest management revisit their management team and provide a little bit more collaborative, friendly and progressive work environment.

We were dissapointed this weekend as we wanted to order the family meal, but we were told the oven was broken again. There were many clients that were not very happy and being rude to the staff. Tayor {Scott} Deli Clerk always greets us with a smile and a friendly hello and always knows our order ahead of us even writing it down. He is always smiling and so kind. He said as soon as the oven is repaired he will put some aside for us. I thouugh that was so sweet and so kind. The price for helium balloons is the same whether you buy the balloon there at Ralph's or if you bring your own. So you might as well go with the quality assured balloons they sell at Ralph's. Each basic solid colored balloon was well under $2 and Tara ties it up nicely with ribbon and an anchor, and she will arrange them for you too if you want them in a nice bunch! The big shiny Mylar balloons come in a ton of shapes and sizes and they were about $13-15 including the balloon and helium, with string and anchor. These last a while too! Ralph's on Ventura Blvd in Woodland Hills is my go to for helium filled balloons! They're all over the store.
