I had a frustrating experience at this location due to poor customer service. When I went to check out, the cashier, Laura Manzier, didn't ask for my phone number to apply discounts and simply gave me my total. When I asked if I could enter my number, she sighed with an attitude, started pressing buttons, and then reluctantly said she had to do it. To make matters worse, the bagger--a young woman with long dark brown hair and glasses--didn't acknowledge me at all, avoiding eye contact and remaining silent the entire time. The overall experience made me feel unwelcome, and it's clear this location could use better customer service training. I don't want to assume the worst, but I couldn't help but wonder if something else factored into the way I was treated being that I am a black woman. Either way, customers should never feel like they are a burden. I hope management addresses these issues. read more

The store is clean and well stocked, but the customer service from the cashiers and baggers is non-existant. Just checked out and neither one said a word, even after I tried joking and engaging about a mistype I did on the credit card machine. As a cashier myself, I know how important it is to at least greet someone at the start and give them their total at the end. I guess I will never learn. But when you can't find raw cashews anywhere what's a boy to do? Why I thought this store that caters to the local fascists and Trumpian crowd would carry raw cashews I have no idea. That part of the review is on me. Full blame accepted. But I was desperate and I was having coffee nearby at Havana Savannah (5 stars!) and I was on foot. This photo is a prime example of why you should never shop at this store. A dork like this is walking up and down the aisles, past employees - even asked one for help - and no one tells him to put on a mask. During a global pandemic with a new more virulent variant and numbers on the rise. The sad part is just look at him. He's older with pretty poor posture to boot. If he gets Covid he's dead. Heck, a strong flu strain could do him in. Maybe that's the point. Maybe he's reached the age where he's given up on life. I may have only witnessed a cry of help. But probably not. He's just a selfish jerk too good for a mask. He gets what he deserves. And Albertsons gets none of my money. The service at this location is terrible. There have been numerous times where I've been checking out and the cashier doesn't say a word to me and hardly looks at me. Most of the time, they're talking to another cashier who's hanging about nearby. There have been times where their conversations with each other are full of obscenities and vulgarities. There's one cashier in particular that I always try to avoid because she's incredibly rude. She comments about how she doesn't like the way I put my groceries on the conveyor belt to how she doesn't like that I wait on the end of the checkout stand to wait for my receipt. Literally every time I've been checked out by her, she has said something snide to me. In fact, if I'm waiting in her line, I wonder what she could possibly point out this time. I've read the other reviews, and it seems like there's many other customers who agree with me. Why doesn't Albertsons do something about this? read more

Albertsons Pharmacy on Copper Hill closes for an hour for lunch. Never told me when I said I was on the way to pick up my prescription. Even their own sign says 30 minutes for lunch. Why would they have to be so bad to their own customers? Last time I will come here. Just FYI, call first to confirm hours. Ordered food for pickup as I have done in the past. I wanted one particular item (2 bottles of Cranberry juice and 2 bottles of lemonade). Got home and of course, the cranberry bottles and one lemonade were not included in the items we picked up. Sure, they gave us a refund on the money, but that wasn't why I placed the order in the first place. The employees there who are responsible for this will never know what that "one" item is that the customer wanted above all others. That's why they need to be diligent and make sure ALL the ordered items are there for the customer. I was very disappointed and probably won't use this service unless it's absolutely necessary and used with caution. read more

Michelle did the flowers for my wedding and she was absolutely fantastic!! She made the planning process easy and the flowers turned out gorgeous!!!! I can't think Michelle enough. She put together seven centerpieces and three bouquets at a fraction of the price I was quoted by other florists. They need to improve with their employee training. Recently I've been seen most employees not being helpful with the following 1. Applying correct discounts at checkout 2. Providing friendly checkout cover stations most of the time the kids there just talk to themselves about their person lives and just say how much the tots is. 3. Unknown deli and butcher hours. I've been here many times before. The checkers are fairly fast and courteous. We were in a week before thanksgiving because we couldn't find a decent frozen pumpkin pie anywhere. Even their sister company, Vons, didn't have frozen pumpkin pie out one week before thanksgiving. Albertsons has a sale on frozen pies, so we bought three or four of them. We also found a nice reusable Santa Clarita bag that they sold at their check stand. A win-win situation for us that night. By the way, their store is one of the largest supermarkets I have been in. Don't ever use their delivery service. It was very disappointing, they never found my apartment in a very simple and numbered complex. So the order got cancelled. Worst part is that they take the money and don't refund for 5 biz days. So now I literally cannot buy groceries until then. Awful service that instead of being convenient just ruined my ability to shop. Never again. Samuel was the shopper and literally circled the complex for over twenty minutes. I was very disappointed the last couple of times I visited this Albertsons. People are going in there without masks and not distancing themselves. I asked the associate about there procedures I was told that they have a sign on the entrance about masks and if management doesn't do or say anything to enforce, there is nothing that the other associates will do about it. The associates there in the evenings do not seem to care about keeping their distance nor enforcing the mask requirements. read more

Just got out of school and my friend and I decided to go to Albertsons. When we got there, there was this huge hoard of kids from my school trying to get in. The people that worked there would not let any of us in. Some of us even had parents waiting for us in there. They would not let any of us in no matter what. My friend found out a random lady accused us that we were shoplifting because we had backpacks on. My friend and I had my other friends mom to walk us in. If a kid tried to go in without an adult, the workers shove them out of the door. It was horrible trying to get in. (PS they only targeted kids whit's backpacks on even if they just came from school. This is horrible, Albertsons bakery really thought this was acceptable. The man working at the bakery put the name on it like this and closed the box before showing us the finished name and did not even want to put happy birthday on the cake. This was embarrassing when we finally opened the box and saw this, I could have done a better job do not I repeat do not get anything printed on your cakes here, you are better off purchasing the cake and purchasing the decorating gel separately and doing it yourself! read more

I went to the Albertsons on Bouquet Cyn to have them make a floral arrangement for my daughter who was celebrating her birthday. I went out of there with the most hideous arrangement. I was in tears and didn't know what to do. I decided to drive to the Albertsons on Copperhill to see if they could help me. Sara in the floral Dept. understood my frustration and immediately went to work. She created the most beautiful arrangement and saved the day. My son and I were completely ignored by him tonight...he was more interested in cleaning then helping the customers...this is a constant thing with him...he never seems happy. This place is my go to for GIFT CARDS, flowers and alcoholic beverages they have one of the biggest selections of gift cards I've ever seen!! It's a one stop for gifts! This Albertsons has really gone downhill. All they care about is saving money at the customers expense and convenience. They typically only have between 1-3 cash registers open so that you're forced to use the self check out. However, they never have anyone working at the self check out area and those machines are super weight sensitive and constantly need employee assistance. So you're left standing there waiting. The other thing I absolutely hate is that their bags don't have handles. WTF! This is the first supermarket I've ever been to that doesn't have bags with handles. You can sometimes request some from the employees but they frequently run out. When I complain to employees about this, they simply tell me that they like the handle bags also but those are more expensive so the manager only orders a small/limited number of those bags. WTF. I can pretty much only carry 2 bags then. Absolutely ridiculous. You are better off going to the Ralphs on McBean. read more

I think her name is Vicki (in the bakery) First thing that impressed me was that the icing printer at this store has been broken so I was told they would need to print our cake at another location, but it would be ready in the late morning. Thank you for not just saying "no we can't do that design right then and there" Second. Our event ended up being the day of the Am Gen race that shut down nearly all the roads in our valley. Vicki called me a few hours ahead of time and notified me that they weren't able to get to the other store in scv. She asked if we could get the cake maybe an hour later so she could go all the way to a store out of our valley to print the image we ordered. Stand up service!!! Thank you Albertsons bakery. Above and beyond! This is the second time this store has saved us. About 8 years ago we ordered a smash cake for our son from Vons. We showed up to get it and they said the baker had called out sick and there was no cake for us. We went to Albertsons to see if they could decorate a ready made cake for us, and even though the decorator had already left for the day, the girl said she would give it a shot. It came out great! This grocery store seems to be on the slow side. Their service, check lanes, and the store overall doesn't look busy. Anyway, I try to avoid coming here to this particular Albertsons unless I literally have to or its just about on my way towards somewhere I gotta be because I find myself always waiting, and waiting, and waiting just to pay for my 1 or 2 items. They NEED more cashiers! Seems like they need better management or a new one to run the store and figure that MORE CASHIERS AND CHECK LANES ARE NEEDED to be open. There aren't too many people shopping here, but there are people that buy lots of stuff, like a shopping cart literally FULL to the top, which takes a while to ring up and I'm just standing behind wishing that I had options of lanes to choose from.
