Stopped by Albo Pizza after a short walk and my group was pleasantly greeted by a welcoming comfortable restaurant interior with hearty food and good service. The seating is comfortable and it's cool inside which really lets you relax and enjoy. The Mr. Friend pizza has a nice smattering of vegetables and I thought the sausage was good- not agressively flavored, and soft. My favorite was the meatballs with spaghetti and the accompanying garlic bread is the best I've had in a while, toasted and covered in herbs. The fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp was pretty good according to my friend and the small shrimps looked tender. Overall we were all very pleased with a comfortable meal and dining experience. Might come back to try the gyros, we like this place. read more

Albo pizza was recommended to us from our hotel. It is an adorable family owned restaurant. The hostess very proudly told us everything on the menu was made from scratch. When asked what the recommended items were. My daughter was craving pizza and we dined in as opposed to our hotel room. She quickly settled on a Ricotta Pepperoni Pizza with hot honey. I've never had ricotta on pizza before, but let's do it, and it came recommended as one of their best sellers. Service was fast, friendly, and warm!! We were greeted with smiles, given recommendations, watched lots of pick up orders leave. Our orders were correct! And recommended items were TASTY! Wall decor and trash cans were clean, I know weird, but it matters to me!! It matters that you take the time to focus on small details. Also if what I see is clean odds are what I can't see is clean. Peeking into the kitchen area everything was stocked and orderly! The pizza came, was served with house made ranch just as we asked for. Cheese and crushed red pepper were placed on the table in clean jars. The pizza was splattered with nice hefty gobs of ricotta. I was very worried that the water content would make the pizza soggy. They had a very rich, thick Lucious ricotta that was not watery at all. The fat coated the tongue nicely against the hot honey and the perfect chewiness of the crust. That was a delicious pizza and one I know I can't find in my area. I will be making this at home! Crust: the crust had the perfect crunch, and was still pillowy soft inside. When we took the pizza for leftovers to the hotel it reheated nicely and was good cold. I love a crust that isn't an oily pillow.. THIS CRUST WAS GOOOD!! It made a great pizza!! We were in town staying at a nearby AirBnB. We noticed this place that was about a minute or two walk away. It was convenient and after trying the food, it was actually pretty good. I ordered the (4B) Italian Sub with a side Caesar Salad (Lunch) meal for pick up. The food was very fresh and good! Both quality and quantity excelled. The lunch deal was definitely worth it. The day prior, I had also tried one of the Chicken Finger (Hot) and Fries. The Hot was actually hot which was great and the fries were good too. Overall, I think the quality, quantity, and pricing altogether meshes well together. read more

I received Albo's menu promo in the mail. Two offers were advertised. The first is a 14" pizza with one topping for $9.99. The second is 10% off everything on the menu. I called, but no answer. So I decided to drive over there. It's located in the "rough" north part of the strip. Inside, I placed a takeout order for the $10.99 hot pastrami sandwich and got the 10% off. When I got home, I opened the pastrami sandwich, took a bite and realized it wasn't that special. Next time, I will order their 14" pizza special and hope it will be better than the pastrami sandwich. read more

Whats going on with the streets here? Not so easy to get to this place. Lets try that 14 inch pizza for $10. Guy at the counter was personable so we talked about pizza. Good pizza, average pizza, pizza crusts, oven temperatures, etc. Pizza was ready, took a peek, put a little oregano and red pepper flakes, and back to the hotel. Got onions and peppers for toppings. Car filled with a nice fragrant pizza aroma . Got to my room started eating pizza. Initial impression was pretty good. Second slice, third slice. Cheese wasn't too salty, crust was neutral, toppings were spot on, not heavy handed, flavors complementing the pizza. Had to stop myself with 2 slices left. I would have finished it. I'm pretty fussy about pizza. I would say this was a good New York style pizza. read more

I would rate this a 5 star for the food. The food was not bad at all. The ambiance, the restaurant are a different story. This is located in not such a upscale section of town, kinna at the end of the strip. I would like to support our local mom and pop, small business restaurant. I believe this is one of them. This is a wonderful restaurant, the service here is very welcoming and they provide a comfortable environment. Wow! This place is a great find. I've driven past it so many times and finally stopped in. They give great portions and I really enjoyed their red sauce and chicken parm. The parking was tough, parked next door because passed it driving the strip. I have been to dive pizza joints and have found the food great. The pizza tasted good, hot, tasted good cold. but by the poor cleanliness, disorder, and no people dining in, makes this restaurant on my quality short list after my husband got sick. We did eat at many places on this trip so I would wish food inspection signage like California was mandated. The counter person, I think was also the cook, I was able to walk around the entire dining room unsupervised. I ordered a small Greek Pizza and had a can of soda (Squirt - my childhood favorite), so it was a treat your inner child kind of night. The pizza was delicious with a nice crust, and the sauce:cheese ratio was spot on to my liking -- I rather enjoy a generous cheese hand. I enjoyed the well lit and family friendly ambiance. I dance at Peppermint Hippo, and this spot came highly recommended and did not disappoint. Thank you for the lovely time. A Note: I would love to see a homemade lemonade on the menu in the future or a fresh squeezed juice for those of us who love a homemade non-alcoholic beverage. This place was bizarre...walked into an empty restaurant with the workers just chillin/laying in the booths. I had attempted to call in earlier to place an order Togo but they didn't pick up so i assumed they were busy since there were such great reviews on here. But yes, walking in and not being greeted was super awkward. Onto the food! We ordered the fettuccine Alfredo as well as the baked ziti. Portion was pretty big as each dish can be shared with someone. They do give you complimentary garlic bread but i wish they asked if we needed cheese and peppers Togo. Fettuccine was pretty good. No complaints there. The baked ziti was really good as well. Pretty sketchy part of town i would say. Review is based on the pizza alone. I ordered two 14 inch pepperoni pizzas and that fed four very hungry kiddos. I placed the order over the phone and was advised it would take approximately 15 mins. Our food was ready on time, the customer service was great. It was kind of late so there weren't many patrons inside. Everything looked clean, didn't see the restrooms though. The only thing you need to plan is the parking. The restaurant is on a busy street and luckily there was a parking space in the front. read more
