We showed up early and still got seated right away. The ambiance is subtle with a nice darkened lightning. Our waiter Virgilio was quite good. We had several things that just tasted right and hit the spot. I will find myself here again sooner than later.

Whenever I go to Vegas I try to support local businesses off the strip. On our last night instead…read moreof going to an Italian restaurant on the strip, we searched for Italian restaurants and came upon Ferraro's. They start you off with bread which were not very tasty. They were a bit dry and lacking in flavor. It was a shame because they give you a small container filled with olive oil to dip your bread in. We ordered a glass of Barolo and the Dante's Infante cocktail. The cocktail was refreshing and strong. My husband wanted to try wine but there werent many options for wines sold by the glass and there was only one option for Baralos so he ordered that. The Baralo was just average for $30 per glass and it was unfortunate that there weren't more options to choose from. We ordered the Polpo ( octopus) appetizer. The flavors were well balanced and the pureed canellini beans paired well with the octopus but the octopus was too cold. Not sure if it was supposed to be served like but I've never had octopus that cold before and the consistency was a bit harder because of the temperature. For our entrees, we ordered the pappardelle with lobster, scallops and truffle. The pasta was perfectly al dente and amazing. There were 2 beautifully cooked and tender scallops. There were a few garnishes of truffle that were shaved thick enough that I was able to chew into the texture. I wish there were larger pieces as the shaved pieces were small sized in diameter. But overall the pasta itself was cooked perfectly. This was far the best dish. We also ordered the Branzino which I wish I hadn't because there was a very wierd flavor profile.. I ordered it thinking it was going to have crispy skin but the skin was very soggy. It seems they changed the method of cooking the branzino as compared to previous photos uploaded by other yelpers. I was a bit disappointed when the branzino came out because the whole fish was butterflied ( sliced in half with tail in tact) and looked like the skin side had at one point been fried but it was soggy and soaked in the sauce. I was not particularly a fan of the sauce. I tasted a strong flavor profile of cinnamon for some reason even though there was no cinnamon mentioned on the menu. Two of the ingredients listed was guanciale and taragon. One of two ingredients may have been the flavors I tasted which did not pair well with the fish. It ruined the natural flavor of the fish as they overpowered the natural flavor of the branzino. Any time I get a chance to order the Branzino, I am usually satisfied or impressed but have never been disappointed. I think my favorite restaurants where I had exceptionally cooked branzinos were on the Vegas strip. At one of restaurants on the strip which I have ordered numerous times and is a very well known restaurant which I will name nameless ...it was cooked similarly, butterflied, in a buttery lemon sauce but the skin was still crispy. A second restaurant on the strip... the branzino was smoked and roasted on charcoal with a tomato based sauce. I guess I can't help but compare because this restaurant is priced similar to two very popular restaurants on the strip but fell short. Our waiter Diego was great and best personality and made our experience memorable. Overall the best dishe was the handmade pasta. The lack of options for wine by the glass was a bit saddening. The cocktail was unique and strong. But I regret getting the branzino. I am not sure I would go back

Getting a dinner…read morereservation here is difficult, but I lucked out on a Sunday brunch- booked two weeks in advance. Our party of 5 celebrated my birthday a little early, and it couldn't have gone better. Firstly, the restaurant is very cute! Open kitchen, beautiful bar, and an eclectic decor to match their rotating, experimental menu. Interesting pairings all around. These chefs have fun building fresh and flavorful plates. We started with the sourdough and three dips. The basil dip and the burrata were tasty, but they had some interesting options from anchovies to bleu cheese. It was tough deciding, but well worth ordering! The loaf was fresh and flavorful, and I'm a sucker for a good sourdough. Pictures did not do Esther's justice, because each one of us was shocked at the portions! They are generous. My biscuits and gravy came with 4-5 biscuits and took me literally all day to finish! Well worth the price. The ingredients are very high quality and it comes through each bite! Service was fantastic. Regular visits, refills, and great cocktails. The staff knows whats up and how to keep a fun, relaxed vibe. They even offered to take group photos for us! The complimentary birthday dessert was definitely a bonus, and delicious. All in all, Esther's is a Las Vegas must. Dress it up or down, come for dinner or even brunch. It's a good time with fantastic, QUALITY food! A great balance of Instagramable, delicious, and fairly priced!

So this place when we saw the reviews and pictures we thought this was going to be a great spot to goto even though it's 20 minutes away from the strip. Before our arrival, we called and placed a reservation the day before and accommodated our reservation with our party thankfully. Upon arrival, we were greeted well, the family provided great and friendly customer service right off the bat. The menu size is good, and solid appetizers and entrees to choose from. The complementary bread was good with the olive oil pesto sauce they brought with it. The mozzarella appetizer was good and the fettuccine Alfredo was fine. This place does everything well. The restaurant being very small, they've managed to make the seating comfortable and decently spacious. Service is great, wait time after ordering can be a bit long but it is made to order and it's a small family restaurant. The only problem I have and unfortunately for now it's a deal breaker for me is the lack of flavor, it's obvious when immediately digging into the sauce. Quality, texture, temperature it's all there but there's no flavor from the Tomato sauce in the mozzarella and definitely lacking flavor in the Alfredo sauce. I tried adding black pepper and Parmesan to the Alfredo and it improved the texture, but still flavorless. Prices are great, portions are huge, I think this is good spot for nearby locals but not worth going out of your way trying this spot at least at this moment. It definitely isn't a nearly perfect score, it's a solid 4/5 with only 1 issue it needs to greatly focus on improving. Also they should consider reducing the portions because it's quite a lot of food, should cut down on cost and time, sometimes less is more.

The restaurant is much larger than meets the eye and we were seated in the small back room with the additional bar. There were quite a few tables open. Service was attentive and professional. We ordered a bottle of wine which they kept chilled and always made sure to refill our glasses as needed. I was a huge fan of the complimentary starters and to be honest I think they were my favorite part of the meal. A member of the staff comes to your table to serve a chunk of parmesan cheese cut right off the block. You also receive a bowl of pickled cauliflower, a beautifully presented salami rose plate, and a basket of 3 types of fresh bread. Our waiter informed us that everything was served family style and meant to be shared, so I found it interesting that they split our order of Spicy Rigatoni Vodka for us. It's one of their most well-known dishes and we really enjoyed it. The Octopus Pizzaiolo was delicious, especially with the inclusion of the crispy potatoes. The thick piece of fish on the Salmon Oreganata was beautiful but the salmon itself lacked a bit of seasoning. They bring around a dessert cart but we opted out as nothing caught our eye and we were pretty full. They brought out a small birthday dessert with a candle, which was delicious and always appreciated.

We had reservations at 5pm so it wasn't busy yet. The dining was very nicely furnished. It's one of my favorite foods. So when I say theirs is quite possibly the best I've ever had in my life, it means something. We ordered family style for the entrees. We ordered the Bolognese Pappardelle, Strozzapreti, Ricotta Cavatelli( subbed gf pasta), Chicken Scarpariello and Short Rib Lumache. They were all absolutely delicious. Dessert did not disappoint either. We ordered the Brookie sundae and the Tiramisu. I couldn't have the Tiramisu but I was told that it was great. The Brookie sundae was a fun dessert. It came with vanilla, pistachio and chocolate gelato, whip and some sort of cake on the bottom. I didn't go all the way down because of my stupid allergy again. The gelatos were all good. It came with a side dish with strawberries and nuts and little chocolate balls. I can't wait to go back again. Next time I'll tell the rest of the table to get their own garlic bread so I don't have to share mine. I'll have dreams about that bread. So heavenly!!!!
