    Chicken salad sandwich.

Six of us came without a reservation and we were quickly seated and were taking upstairs to the beautiful rooftop. Howe was our server he was wonderful along with the entire staff. There's a downstairs area that is an English pub style atmosphere but I really enjoy the upstairs! They serve you a complementary cheese dip with crackers and it held us over after our hike up to seven Falls. Several of us had the chicken salad sandwich. Several had the fish and chips and another had the Cuban! Service was prompt and delicious. It was pricey, but worth a treat.

Went to the golden bee during a conference. I enjoy the space. The butter is delicious they have on the table! The service was great. The servers are attentive and kind and on it The food is okay! Nothing special honestly, just fancy It took a while for our food to come out but again they were packed and super busy! The restaurant definitely is on the pricey side but that's to be expected since it's at the broadmoor. I enjoyed how they included the tip too!

Yummy! Really fun atmosphere. Try to sit back in the room with the bar. Can get loud at dinner time. Piano playing starts at 7, sing along at 9. Fish and chips are a safe choice, along with any of the sandwiches/burgers.

Popped in to this charming space for lunch at the bar. Brooke and Micaela were friendly and welcoming. Our soups were delicious- highly recommend the cheese soup. Perfect on a cold day.

We have been here before, but last night was different. Everything we ordered was hitting on all cylinders. The bar looked immaculate, the noise level wasn't high, the seats at the bar were great. I can't remember the name of our first bartender, but she was great and I should've written her name somewhere to remember it. She made the Risky Buzz-ness cocktail for me and it was the best drink I have ever had. So good that I had four of them. We ordered the fish and chips and a bowl of French onion soup, which was DELICIOUS. The tartar sauce was seasoned to perfection and the fish was great, with just the right of batter. I did not eat the citrus cake but my husband said it was decadent. The Golden Bee is my favorite place to go while staying at the Broadmoor. If I could bring the bartender home with me, I would have the cocktail every single evening with dinner. Thank you, Golden Bee, for making our stay in Colorado Springs memorable. We hope to see you again next year.

This place was so cool! My family and I went to the Golden Bee for dinner to celebrate my mom's and nephew's birthdays after visiting the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. It was easy for us to reserve a table earlier in the day and we were seated right away. Our waitress Nicole was so sweet to my 4yr old nephew and he had a great time. We ended the day at the zoo in the rain and it had gotten chilly, so the bangers and mash was the perfect meal to warm up with and end the day. It was absolutely delicious and a great portion! Enough if you're hungry but also enough for leftovers if you prefer that! My sister got the recommended carnitas and it was definitely a big portion. The flavors were amazing, the presentation was on point and the carnitas was fall-off-the-bone tender! The vibe inside was really cool, like an old mountain or back east pub. From historical pictures to the furniture, it was welcoming and unique! You can roll in from the zoo or golf course and have a yard of beer with some pals, or get dressed up and have a nice dinner! It really blends great for any occasion. They also had a sign that they have live piano music every night at 7 and a song a long at 9! The most fun part was that everyone gets a bee sticker! Your server has embroidered bee stickers that they toss on everyone's shirt and for birthdays they are birthday bees! It was so unique and fun! The prices are a little high for some things but you are also at the Broadmoor so that is to be expected but the food was definitely worth it.

Went to the Golden Bee for a night out with friends! We wanted to go to a nicer restaurant to dress cute and have a nice ambiance. I got the bangers and mash which was super good! And we also got a giant pretzel appetizer to share (not pictured but highly recommend)! They gave all of us a little bee patch that you can put on your clothes, so cute! I believe if you go for social occasions that they also have special occasion bee patches. I would go back.

Great food, fun place with Bee patching being thrown on you. For those historical loving people, read about how the bar was in the UK then brought here. It's one of those places you can't stop looking at because there's so much craftsman detail.

First and foremost, I had amazing service. I was seated immediately & the food came out quickly. It was a quiet place when I went for lunch around 3pm on a Friday & walking distance from the Broadmoor so ver convenient. The only reason I gave 4 stars was because my blackened fish po boy was just okay. Very seasoned but the sandwich could have used some type of sauce. I would give the meal a 7.5/10. Overall good experience at The Golden Bee.

This place is an experience of its own! I was here for a convention (as I think most people are when they eat here), and it's almost like a right of passage to visit The Golden Bee. The first thing they do is throw a bee at you! Don't worry, it's just a sticker but it screams tradition. Now I did start off by saying I was here for a conference, so it was crowded on a Thursday around 1pm. The bar was packed, there was a wait, and it did take a while to place your food order and get the food. The fish and chips were delicious, and everyone seemed happy with their meal, especially what I call the repeat offenders! It can be loud, so don't think you'll be able to hear everything your table has to say, but it's definitely worth a visit.

Love this spot! Must visit every time we go to the Broadmoor. Live piano music. Good ambiance. Great service. Cocktails are great - I had the fall seasonal sangria - yum! Food ordered included French onion soup, pretzel, bangers and mash, chicken kebab. Food hits the spot and fits the restaurant well. Only issue is we asked for the whiskey chocolate cake to go with scoop of vanilla - what we got back to room we got one scoop of vanilla and one scoop of chocolate (no cake). Love the bees! ~$320 including two alcoholic drinks.

Lovely gastropub setup, with fine drinks and a very tasty menu. Service was attentive, friendly, and helpful. Food was all tasty -- not life-changing, but quite good. The cocktail menu was fun and, trying the ones that actually had honey, very drinkable (the honey mule was particularly good). The place is loud, but not oppressively so. Even with a piano player belting out greatest hits of the 70s, I could still hold a conversation with my table mate. The only disappointment of the evening was that they did not have any of the printed pint glasses for sale; the etched ones, at $52, were a bit steep. Net-net, a great casual place to go for our first evening at the Broadmoor. Would definitely return.

Cauliflower and chickpea curry sub rice with kale, Brussels sprouts and crispy potatoes. So delicious!!

Food seems underrated. Staff and chef were able to accommodate the vegetable curry dish substituted with the vegetables from the trout entree (kale, crispy purple potatoes, and brussels sprouts) instead of basmati rice. DELICIOUS and should be a regular menu item. Hubby got the famous fish and chips which I tasted. Super light and not greasy at all. Excellent service and food!!

I ordered the Messy Sloppy burger which came with corn chowder soup and the Sloppy Mac and Cheese and they were not only delicious but hardy as well. Although the portions could've been a little more but it was pretty filling that I had to take the Mac and cheese in a Togo box. If you're sitting at the bar you can see the window where your food comes up -- our salad and fries both sat there about ten minutes before anyone brought them the ten feet over to us. Not a huge deal, but it's a little cruddy sitting there thinking "I'm pretty sure that's ours" and waiting. The ambiance is very dark, with a lot of stairs up and down -- you head into sort of a basement-type area. Everything I saw was clean and nice. It's a cool, funky spot to take a date or hit for happy hour, so the vibe and ambiance are definitely spot on for that. Signature cocktails -- all fine. Not the best thing ever, but solid. I'd have them again. Side salad -- good. The ranch is made in house and very flavorful, and the salad was actually loaded with veggies. French fries with garlic aioli -- a bit of a letdown. We didn't even finish them. They came out okay, just a little dry, and the aioli itself wasn't very good -- we didn't really like it. Pro tip: The entrées looked pricey, which is why we stuck to snacking at the bar -- and after the fries came out, we were fine calling it there and eating elsewhere. Overall, would recommend for happy hour, and would return.
