Aldi's has great finds & more than fair prices! I never realized that there was an Aldi so close by to the Natick Mall. We decided to make a trip because we saw videos on TikTok & many creators stated that they have a bunch of seasonal cheese finds here... say no more, we are there! We haven't tried the cheeses from here yet but we picked up a variety of different cheese including creamy Havarti, jalapeño havarti, pepper jack, apple smoked Gouda, hot honey Gouda, blueberry vanilla goat cheese, cranberry white cheddar, double crème brie, Camembert, Asiago, manchego, packages of black pepper salami, herb salami, prosciutto, & an assortment of crackers. Recently, we've found an interest in creating our own charcuterie boards & experimenting + trying different cheeses to see what we like! It was pretty easy to find all the things we were looking for, though the layout was slightly different than the other Aldi locations I've been to (Walpole, Medford, Brockton, etc). Check out was easy; there was two lines and both moved rather quickly, in my opinion. Total for our 17 items ended up being $74, average of $4.35 for each item... still better than most other grocery stores. Parking: free parking lot read more

Aldi is a conveniently located grocery store with very reasonable prices, and if you're in a hurry, they still offer curbside pickup where you can order online and not even need to go into the store. Really good prices, but often out of basics, like quarts of milk. The cashiers work really hard, but Aldi MUST be quicker in adding a cashier when the lines gets long. Not expecting 26 cashiers and baggers like at Market Basket, but Aldi has taken understaffing to a new level. The place could be cleaner, both inside and out. Better look carefully at the lettuce. It is often brown. At least the romaine. The place is depressing, but who can beat a pineapple for $1.95. read more

I had about 30 minutes to kill and thought I would check out Aldi while I was nearby; prior to this, the only Aldi stores I have shopped in were in Virginia. It was 12:30 on a Thursday afternoon, I wandered around the store and didn't think it was all that well-stocked, and the milk is more expensive than the Wegman's in Chestnut Hill!! I picked up two things and headed towards the front to pay, and unfortunately there was just one cashier and I would have been the 7th person in line (and EVERYONE in line had a cart full of stuff). This store desperately needs self-checkout lanes because EVERYONE could then get in-and-out, especially those of us with two items. Did I wait in line? Hell no. read more

the cashiers must get a bonus for treating people poorly because the cashiers always behave in a manner to rush the customer out the line. Im an instacart shopper and was shopping for 3 people. I had nearly separated everything on the conveyor belt. the cashier also asked me to set up the register closed sign behind me. Despite being his last and only customer he proceeds to scan every item very quickly and throwing them in a cart that wasn't mine. Despite separating the orders he starts throwing groceries for customer 2 on customer 1. I had to go over there and separate it myself. because he was so messy with it, there wasn't any room for the 3rd order so I asked him if I can use the cart I started with for the last one and he said no because of policy. what kind of policy says I can't use my cart? he was honestly being such an a-hole and was blaming me for being difficult when in reality he was being difficult by not letting me use the cart that already had cases of water and soda in it. He just hates his life and wanted to inconvenience me. after I checked out customer 3 I told him I hope his day gets better and he responded with "I hope your life gets better." I don't know what kind of training these people go through or if they go through a personality screening but people who act like that to customers don't deserve to work there. Although I've seen Aldi countless times throughout the US, it only piqued my attention after I watched a German Youtuber living in the US make a video about it and I decided to check out the closest Aldi to where I'm living. I've also lived in Europe for several months many years ago and had grown fond of some European products, particularly their cheeses and this Aldi had plenty to pick from which I really loved. Unfortunately, their produce section is a bit lacking which is why I'm docking a star. But this store still offers quite a lot of imported European, particularly German foods like cookies, potato snacks, as well as cheeses and sausages. Btw, although eating large amounts of processed foods isn't great for your health, at least rest assured than the European imports are under stricter standards than what we have in the US, not to mention generally higher quality. This Aldi, as well as the others in the Boston area, seem to be out in the exurbs so I'd advise you to do your research first before heading out here (like previewing their ads, bringing your bags and a quarter for the cart, and also watching "Feli from Germany's" video about Aldi from late 2023.) read more

This store is the worst grocery store I've ever been in. They have no customer service. They charge you for a cart if you need to carry your groceries in the store. They charge you for bags. The reusable kind of bags and just normal bags... They charge you for everything. You can't even walk in there for free... Not worth it at all! There are much better places to shop that don't charge you to use a shopping cart and give you bags for free. Faithful ALDI shopper. Cut my family's weekly grocery bill in HALF and I spend so much less time shopping each week due to the store's efficiency, no-frills, and simple layout. If you are creative and flexible you can make easily make this place work. Asparagus doesn't look pretty? Cool get the brussels instead. Cheapest milk cheese & eggs in the area? Awesome, we'll do quiches for dinner one night. Cover your basics and yes you may need to pop to a mainstream chain for occasional stuff but my default is ALDI. Choose off peak times to shop here. While their pricing strategy with mostly no-name brands is very enticing, be prepared for long check out lines as staffing them is very inconsistent. The worst service, rude, obnoxious. Cashiers hold on to carts so you have to share a cart with whoever is behind you, pack your groceries next to someone paying for theirs. It's dumb. Jan2023:4 : I would recommend this grocery store location. I have shopped at this brand grocery store frequently in my home area. I arrived at this location as a result of seeing it while en route and searching for another local facility. This location is adjacent to a major brand hotel in a strip mall type area with other big brand names nearby. There was handicap parking and a wheelchair accessible entrance at the front door. There are plenty of parking spaces that are shared by the businesses in the area. The lot is big enough for traveling vehicles to enter and park at the hotel and replenish needed supplies at this location by walking or rolling over.to the front entrance. The store entryway takes you into the fruit and veggies display. Cashiers are to the right when entering the front. I was not impressed with the salad selection of the store. Most, if not ALL of the bags were turning brown and appeared old. I didn't find celery just the celery hearts which I don't prefer. I usually get my supply of Envy apples here as well, but this store stocked several other brands that I don't prefer. The different bread types were pretty good as I selected two to sample the taste. Yes, the taste. If the kids are going to drown the bread, then get the cheapest one. If YOU just want a decent bread to eat plain or with a bit of butter, treat yourself and make your selection here. As usual, there is a great selection of nuts and cheese to be found here. I saw that the milk and eggs were priced competitively for the area. One shocker I observed, there were (3) cashiers working when I tried to check out!! Oh my!! This store at this time was moving people through the store check-out lines. That was definitely different from other stores where you would have to wait for the cashier to ding the bell to tag in another cashier. LoL There were plenty of shopping carts available. Aldi is a really cool place to shop. While it is not a full service supermarket like Stop and Shop or Shaws, it has a very nice balance of products. Their produce is fresh as well as meats. They also have some random items that may be useful. I have been to Aldi in France and in Italy. This one in Natick is not as big, but has a great selection. read more

Trash!! I shopped some Instacart orders here. The egg cartons were falling apart so when I went to put on the belt they all fell out. The cashier never asked if I needed bags so when he was done throwing everything in the cart unbagged I asked if they had bags. Apparently you have to get your own bags from the from of the register. I was unaware of this. I grabbed some bags & he rudely took them out of my cart and said they weren't free and I had to pay. I wasn't paying. I was shopping for others. He wouldn't give me the 10 cent bags so I had to deliver the Instacart orders unbagged. Very poor customer service! No items on shelves. Trash products. Just a horrible place overall. We've used Aldi in Ireland and wondered about it here...had been to one north of Boston last year and found it lacking, so thought to check out this one. We were there around noon on a Sunday...some people there but not busy. You have to use a quarter to gain access to the carts (and it's returned when finished) but most people are avoiding coins (and some say in short supply). I read elsewhere in the US they done away with the quarter-for-the-cart but not here. We saw people holding groceries in their hands and avoiding the carts for one reason or another. First impression inside: wide and spacious, Then we saw some brown on the veg :(, prices for asparagus and broccoli were like StarMarket and not as good as Wegmans. At the back of the first aisle was the dairy...check out the picture. Almost no eggs at all left and only one size, only 1% milk, no other types. The milk price shown was 50 cents a gallon MORE than Wegmans' 1%!! So many boxed goods were sugar filled or salt filled: cereals, cookies. Being Aldi's no choice and we wondered how you'd eat heathily here. Loads of processed meats, processed cheeses some in very small portioned wrappings. A group price on pork chops was good, but chickens on sale at Wegmans were cheaper. No-one around to ask questions of except a cashier and she was busy. We walked out without buying anything. Glad we saw it but will still to Wegmans and StarMarket ongoing. I want more choice, more healthy choices, more helpful staff, and fresher fruit and veg. read more
