All this for 71 bucks! Can't beat it!

I have loved Aldi ever since I was a little girl. This is one of the best places to do discounted grocery shopping. Aldi brand items are just as good as designer brand items and, sometimes they even sell brand-name items at lower prices. You can find almost anything you need at Aldi and they are making efforts to provide more and more specialty type foods. They sell coconut oil, cashew butter, almond butter, raw honey, have a great line of fit and active foods, as well as a specialty line of Italian food products and even sell some Latino foods. Sometimes you will have to do a once over of your produce, but at what grocery store do you not have to do that? I really like this particular location as it is in one of the areas that I work in. It's a newer store, so it's clean, bright, and the shelves are well-stocked.I heard one of the employees joking around with a customer and I really liked that. Sometimes Aldi employees can seem a little cut and dry - after all, they try to get you in and out with their lightning speed scanning skills lol. But I feel that the employees at this Aldi are pretty nice. There's also a nice selection of wine and be beer here. Scored a cute bottle of Sauvignon Blanc for $3.99 and a 6-pk of Mexican beer for $5.99. So it's not Corona or a bottle of high priced wine. I don't mind. I just see it as a way to expand my horizons and try some different brands of adult beverages. ;-) You also don't want to forget to take a stroll down the specialty household items, as they change those products out every so often. They've got some great deals going on right now for summer and household storage products. I once scored an ice cream maker here for $14.99 and it works great!! I've also bought cooking utensils, nice cutting boards, and baking sheets during some of the specialty sales. This is all around one of my favorite stores to shop in. You really get the bang for your buck. Love me some Aldi!

I shop at numerous Aldi locations and the Roanoke store is the neatest, well staffed and well stocked.

It is amazing how people will stop be lazy and return the cart if they have invested a quarter.

My girlfriend and I have been coming Here now for about a…read moremonth now after we stopped in on our first visit. The store is great, lots of South African groceries to choose from. We have been eating in the restaurant every visit, and we haven't had a bad experience from the food, or owners yet, (I don't expect to either.). My new favorite is the, "bobotie," and my gf likes the mince stew a lot! Bobotie has a meatloaf flavor and a bit of a sweetness from what looked like raisins. It's delicious regardless. Their breakfast is great as well! The biltong, (jerky) is a great snack to purchase, if you eat every 3 hours like I do. It'd make a good stocking stuffer around Christmas for your family and friends, if you might not know what to get anyone. All of their products in the shopping center would be Great gifts this holiday season. We will continue to come here weekly to eat, shop, and chat with the owners. They're very friendly, helpful, and make great food! Awesome bakery as well. Their loafed bread is light, fluffy, and scrumptious. I could keep reviewing every item we've had, but it would be better if you just stopped in and tried it for yourselves. Don't be hesitant in stopping in, you won't be displeased!

I love Central Market. If you're familiar with the H-E-B family of stores, this is the high-end…read moreversion. H-E-B is more mid-market, Joe V's is the bargain end, and Central Market is the crown jewel. And honestly, shopping here is an experience. Much like IKEA, the store is designed to lead you through the entire place, so you're constantly seeing something else that makes you think, "Oh, I need that." They carry tons of regional specialties, including plenty that aren't even from Texas, plus an impressive selection of prepared foods. The bakery is lovely, and the meat section is downright glorious. We happened to be here at the tail end of Hatch chile season, which is apparently a VERY real thing. Every August, Central Market celebrates with about two weeks of Hatch chile everything. We're talking marinated meats, salsas, chips, cheeses, dips, even cookies. Basically, if they can put a Hatch chile in it, they will. We bought a few things to take home and try later, but we also grabbed an Asian chicken wrap with sweet potato fries from the cafe. Delicious, and easily enough for two people to split. Come hungry, come curious, and give yourself plenty of time. This is not a "run in for milk" kind of grocery store.

Honestly, I was surprised Central Market had made-to-order food -- and even more surprised by how…read moregood it was. On top of that, it was actually pretty budget-friendly, which made it even better. Service was great, and the ambiance was really pleasant and comfortable. The food felt fresh and healthy, and the whole environment just made the experience easy to enjoy.
