This I do understand but it would be nice if they were abreast on their inventory I'm a little concerned that they might be getting too big. Went here yesterday to look for bargains and when we went to checkout I noticed the fresh flowers were not fresh. The price was $5.99 a bunch, but the flowers were wilting. Throughout the store items were left on shelves, as the customers must have just put the item there after deciding they didn't want the item. Suggestion-provide a shelf at entrance to checkout to drop off items. Many times the lines are long and people don't want to go back to put an item on it's original shelf. I go here for the produce-lots of variety of fruits and vegetables. Although there are lines, they immediately call for more cashiers. The aisles are nice and wide for shopping. The cashiers are always pleasant. Lots of parking spaces. read more

Love Aldi. They have the best mama cozi pizza and bang for your buck seafood. The cheese selection is truly comprehensive. The produce is okay. Not always fresh but I don't usually by produce here. If you do, make sure you use right away. read more

You PASTA test! What a great selection of pasta and Italian food! My heart felt full walking in to the store only to immediately be met with pizza, pasta and alternative options like cauliflower pizza. Aldi has seriously improved since I've last been here! The store is still only provides basic items, so don't expect a large variety of produce, meats, etc.. Yet, rest assured they do have them if you need them! For a smaller store, it's well-stocked. Service is fine, I went and they only had one register open, however the guy at his post was trying to keep things flowing. Note, it can get pretty packed and busy. If you're not good with small spaces, it can also get slightly cramped! Personally, I think they need a self-checkout section so they can keep up with the times. Also, I'm not a fan of having to insert a quarter in my shopping cart just to use it! So bring your quarters! Other than that I recommend this location! read more

I'm seriously getting very upset with the poor quality of the food and vegetables and ESPECIALLY FRUIT! I shop at least 2-3 times weekly but in the last several months the packaged ham was slimy the watermelons were rubbery and disgusting the green grapes I bought 3 days ago were rotting from within! It took 2 days for the mold and crud on the grapes it's disgusting just threw away another pineapple brown inside and mushy after 3 days!. I have litterly wasted over $75 since summertime on food and fruits and veggies I had to throw out! I'm at my wits end and thinking even WinCo is fresher then Aldi! Try to call any store! You can't they tell you on the recording it saves you money for then not answering the phone! What a bunch of crsp! I'm done no more ALDI FOR ME! I'm going to start this review with with I generally like Aldi's but I wish it was a Trader Joe's they have a better selection. I walked into what is apparently a unisex bathroom as I was peeing in the urinal there was a woman in the stall next to me, that was awkward. I think about my 12-year-old daughter or even my wife, if she were to use the bathroom with a grown man urinating just a few feet away from her. Do I need to clear the bathroom before my daughter can use it and stand by the door? I do not think I'm being a prude this is unacceptable and always will be. Update on service! So I was waiting in one of 2 lines (5-6 in each line huge baskets), and noticed a female (behind us) talking to an employee who she seemed to know the employee. She asked him if he would open up, he replied he was going on a break, headed toward the office, then turned around and came back through a closed check-stand. He motioned to my direction to come over as he opened up the check stand. The female he knew, cut us off and got in front, he, started to check her out, we mentioned to him, "hey I was next!", he said nothing. He kept checking out her huge basket. I emptied my tote basket 8 items and walked out!! His name was Mason. He said NOTHING AS WE WALKED PAST HIM AND HIS FRIEND! SO this is to be expected every time I come to Aldis? Visited Aldi San Jacinto to purchase a spiral ham the day after the ad came out only to be surprised that they sold out! We also have had a past experience with rack of lamb on sale that has been limited to a small inventory and also ran out. I don't understand the business sense these people have limiting inventory and running out the first day of an ad coming out. We drive a long way to the store only to be told we have no more! This come on has tested my patience to its limit, we will never purchase a thing from this store again and any other in the chain! Be aware of their sales. They have some really great deals, and a lot of the products here are actually okay. However, I had left my car keys at the register and immediately turned around to grab them. Even though I was just at the register only a minute ago, the checker made me describe my car keys explicitly before she handed them back over to me. The situation was super bizarre, and also rather embarrassing in which the manor she was speaking to me. The other complaint I have is the bathroom, it was gross :( read more

For these prices & brands, you can just run to Stater's. The reason for the low score is the staff. The cashier's are not friendly or sociable at all. Just grab your stuff and throw it in the basket to push over to the side. Before I was finished putting my PIN number in the past, she was scanning the next customer. We love Aldi! When we moved to California 8 years ago, we missed having an Aldi. We were so excited when they started opening stores in California! The prices are very reasonable and they have a lot of gluten-free choices for me. We can find things a lot cheaper there than most grocery stores. I would highly recommend Aldi! read more

Rated 4 stars because often times a marked down item is registered differently at the check out. For example, last week a bag of apples was marked down from $4.20 to $1.99. At checkout it scanned $4.20. After a price check the checker very humbly but cheerfully refunded the difference. I felt more sad that she had to take the "hit" instead of the clerk that failed to update the markdown in the computer. I shop at Aldi every week. Great quality, and prices. The service is excellent. Some executions... carrying a task to it's conclusion may need polish. My present strategy is to group the marked downs at the end of my order. I would give Aldi's 5 stars if it weren't for the constant mistakes at checkout. Once I ended ip with the previous person's mayonnaise, one time I was way overcharged for my eggs, then I was charged for two bags of spinach when I only purchased one bag. Those were the mistakes I caught (too late) by accident. I usually don't check my receipt, so who knows how many mistakes I missed! From now on, I'm going to always check that receipt before I leave the store. Sure, they are super fast at checking, but the mistakes are unacceptable. read more

Deals are amazing I really like the neatness, selection, and set up. It's all great until you get to the register I have not had a polite cashier and I can't stand them throwing my groceries in the cart as if they're baseball's the cans were dented at how hard they throw them in. They are in such a rush instead of fast service you feel like they can't get you out of there fast enough as in get rid of me. My daughter was not familiar with their cart system and the lady yelled at her right here I need the cart now. No one ever yells at my kids and I'm talking about a 16 year old who thought we would keep the cart on our way out. Their hours are wrong on the website. Walked through that store and found several products with past due dates. Most of their "fresh" items expire within a day or 3. Staff chooses the morning to fill the shelves making it more difficult to shop. San Jacinto is in a lower financial class bracket catering to seniors and minorities so don't expect to find any new products. This Aldi's does not have the same feel as most Aldi's. Get in and out. I went here as they claim to have very low prices and they do! (On food items) I went in and price matched some of their food items with store I usually shop at like walmart and cardinals and found that most items were cheaper at aldi. Especially the avocados and eggs! Household products aren't really cheaper though. Be sure to have a quarter with you as you'll need it to get a cart (but you get it back when you return the cart) and bring bags to bag your items. read more

My most favorite store. Shopped with them in Palmdale when they opened and happy to find them here when I moved to Hemet. You can get a lot more food for the money than the other markets (they don't have everything as they are smaller than the bigger markets) as they don't offer all the name brands, but the brands they have are excellent. And if you get something you're not happy with, they have a double refund - replace AND money back. Everything very clean and produce always fresh. Then the Weekly Finds are great finds and excellent prices so check out the center isle. This chain is owned by Trader Joe's so it has the same quality. Also, bring a quarter for your basket as they save you money by not having to hire someone to collect their baskets from all over the city as you return it to the cart area to get your quarter back (how clever) and you can also pay it back to another incoming customer if you wish. They are also offering more reasonable hours for the seniors and disabled during this virus starting at 8:30-9:30 instead of 6:30 as some others. read more
