The shelves & freezers are well organized & spotlessly clean, as you can see from the photos. As their space has expanded, they have broadened their range to offer an even wider selection of flowers, plants, cheeses, baked goods, fresh vegetables, and essential pantry items! However, Ivanna at the deli counter is by far the best I have encountered since the store opened. I believe that employees should be recognized for exceptional service when it is deserved. Ivanna always greets customers with a smile and is eager to assist them. I hope management acknowledges her efforts and recognizes her outstanding service. Great employees are hard to find and retain. Rosa in the bakery department is unfortunately at the other end of the spectrum. Rosa is so rude and unhelpful that my wife avoids the bakery department completely! I, on the other hand, will not let one rude and unprofessional employee keep me from any department in that store. I have asked Rosa time and time again for assistance in getting fresh bread, only to be told that there is none available to bake (even though I can see there is in the background) or that they first have to sell what is in the baskets. Both are incorrect answers to a customer. I run my own business, and my employees know that the customer is always right. I only hope that management corrects this problem promptly, because one toxic employee can ruin the rest of the team.

The store is well-kept and clean throughout. The bakery, meat and cheese departments and the hot food/salad bar area are great. They have several made-to-order options that looked good and worth trying. Some of the standouts were the broasted chicken, pizza and sushi. For such a fresh looking assortment of dishes to be available at 1pm was a big enticement to come back to grab something for lunch next time I'm in the area. As far as grocery options I would be surprised if you couldn't find what you were looking for in such an expansive store. This is especially true when it comes to the huge variety of international cuisine options. All of the workers I had interactions with were friendly too.

My husband shops there at least three times a week, which says a lot about how much we've relied on it over the years. We genuinely like this store, but lately we've noticed a decline in the quality of the produce. Things like tomatoes appearing shriveled or, at times, even moldy. It's disappointing, especially for a place we trust for everyday shopping. I also attempted to place an order for Easter dinner, something we've done many times in the past. Prices have increased quite a bit, so this year I decided to keep it simple and order just the lamb. The online system didn't allow me to select the date I needed, so I called for help. That's where things became frustrating. I spoke with Chef Jose, and communication was difficult. I asked if he spoke Spanish, since it's my native language and I thought it might help. His response felt dismissive, mentioning he speaks Italian and other things, but the interaction itself came across as borderline rude and unhelpful. That impression was later echoed by the front desk, who suggested I contact another chef. Chef Doug, on the other hand, was the complete opposite. Even though we played a bit of phone tag, he consistently followed up with a helpful and kind attitude, which I truly appreciated. Overall, this is still a market we want to love. It has been part of our routine and community. But between the recent produce issues and inconsistent customer service, it has been a bit disappointing compared to what it once was. I'm hopeful they find their way back to the quality and warmth that made them our favorite local market in the first place. BTW, one must place the order all the way to the paying screen to be able to select the desire pick up date.
