This place is the Christmas super store. We come here every year to buy decorations and we are always surprised with their stock. Everything is gorgeous and lots to choose from. I bought my garland here last year and it is one of my favorite pieces for the holidays. One of their designers even helped me pick all the pieces and showed me how to put it all together. Dave & Gloria were the sales associates who assisted me in locating the "all-white" model (i.e. color of branches, lights, etc) Both were not only subject matter experts in explaining the features of the tree to me, but were immensely kind. Aldik has some of the best employees in any retail business! I needed some artificial plants (particularly boxwood topiaries) and I called Aldik. The woman who answered the phone was friendly and helpful and went to check on Aldik's stock of the topiaries. Even though Aldik is a considerable drive from my home, I went there because she took the time to look and let me know that Aldik had the items I was seeking. Bryan Gold assisted me on my 2 visits to the store ... and he went above and beyond to find trees and plants that would go well with my project. He even checked the order status of various items to determine when they might arrive at Aldik. Bryan was very professional and very knowledgeable about the products. He was patient, creative, and had a good eye for design. While I worked mostly with Bryan, the other Aldik employees who helped out with moving trees, carrying product, checking out my order, etc. were all professional and friendly - a winning combination. Nice, yet quite pricy. As I was looking for an upside down christmas tree, I by passed this store for the first time and noticed that it had "Decors" by the outside window. So, I pulled in and asked the kind staff to show me a upside down christmas tree. The nice lady in the front had one of the guys help me, stating they only had one left, since he replied he'd had someone on the floor sell one a week ago. So, he checked the back and told me they only had one opened one they'd used as a floor sample. He said that he could put it together, since it was a open box and show me what it looked like. So, as he was putting it up with the help of another worker, they told me that they'd sell the tree half price from what it had been listed as $750.00 So, finally when they put up the tree; it seemed to be a bit spaced out, so considering the price to be around $375 without tax would still be a bit much to spend on something like that. Today, 9/21/2020, I went to this establishment to buy a fake plant. The prices are higher than most places. Fine. That said, I had to interrupt an employee to employee conversation to get help (they saw me standing there but continued their conversation). The gentleman turned to help me. Basically, a winter/Christmas wonderland. Most things are pretty expensive here, though, even when they're on sale. I went once recently with my best friend, but we didn't end up buying anything. There were a couple of items that were just really way too expensive (ornaments) for what they were. If you've got a lot of extra dough to spend on Christmas ornaments, Christmas trees, and decorations, then by all means visit this store. I personally would only visit it again if I were looking for a few special pieces specifically for Christmas, AND if I had some extra cash to spend, which I unfortunately do not now. I go to Aldik frequently, and I love this store. They are a tad on the pricey side, however, they carry high quality florals and Christmas decor. They don't carry cheaper merchandise that you would find at Michaels or Target, so if you're looking for stuff like that, this might not be the store for you. As far as the person who said they didn't greet her when she was in the store because she's Asian, I find that very hard to believe. Most of the people who work there are Hispanic, and I have found them to be very nice!!! They let you browse in peace......they don't follow you around the store, but if you need help, all you have to do is ask. They are always helpful and courteous!! They have a huge variety of silk flowers, and their Christmas display is amazing!!! If you like good quality merchandise that you can't find most other places, Aldik is a great place to go. read more

This is the Rodeo Drive of Christmas Trees. Before Christmas they have a sale 30% off & after Christmas is when you can get things marked down even more to put away for next year. The shop is INSPIRING & you can see how many great ideas you can borrow from lighting to decorations to placement on the tree. Now you can see what you are doing wrong with decorating your own crummy tree. LOL! There are all sorts of different themed & Colored Christmas trees here. If you remember Stats in Pasadena during their heyday this will remind you of that kind of atmosphere. An entire aisle is just dedicated to ribbons of different sizes widths & patterns. There is a room just dedicated to lights. In the front & back is their large selection of decorated Christmas trees & over the top decorations & ornaments. You have to go through every inch of this store slowly because they have so many Cool Products & Ideas that you never even thought about. Wow. What customer service. Beyond their beautiful Christmas trees and decorations, this company went above & beyond in servicing my needs. I bought a tree and the lights failed after several years. Aldik came to my house, picked up my tree, and took it back to their shop to fix. Turns out the manufacturer had some problems with that specific run of trees. Aldik delivered me a brand new tree! Best store for all your Christmas tree needs. Yes it's a bit expensive but each piece of ornaments are beautiful. I attempted to do day after Christmas shopping for the big sale but was not successful. Parking lot was horrible and that was at 6am at opening. The big boxes the store uses that day in place of regular carts was a bit inconvenient when there's so many people inside and you're trying to move around those boxes. Definitely will not do day after Christmas sale there again but I will continue my regular shopping. read more
