When I asked why my wall has a plethora of necessary holes, a terrible patch job and what I have to do to get them to fix it, they decided to charge my card 113 dollars for the repair (no notice of clarification by the way), after I spoke to a rep about it, they told me that the charge didnt exist (you can clearly see that a charge is pending in the last photo). I implore you, go grab a drill, screws and a leveler and do it yourself. At the very least, if you do damage to anything you can blame yourself and not be charged for someone else's terrible service. Forgot to mention, the techs sat outside my door for about 2 hours. I had to call them and ask them if they would do the service. I suspect the reason why they do this is to void any other jobs and charge the person regardless of service.

We had issues with communication and appt setting which was at 10 am but he didn't get my text to confirm. I am happy Dave text rhe mirning of my appt. and asked me to call him, so I called and told him I was waiting, so he had to shower etc, time was pushed back to 12, and it was not a problem. It pays to be flexible!! Dave showed up got straight to work. Removed old fan/light combo installed my new fan/light with remote control. (It's a plus!! ) In less than an hour!! My tall son had to help him hold the fan up in place to screw in. Some jobs need extra hands, no problem. Dave also replaced the broken fan blade in my living room, no charge!! Pros: Knowledgeable and very reasonable. Came with a can-do attitude. Cons: Not an issue with me, I had to clean up area. Just mentioning time and cleaning just in case someone expects more!! All I have to say is, "You get what you pay for." I'm being fair with 3 stars because he definitely did the job he was hired to do, but at the same time, with his experience, he didn't consider or suggest making the installation water tight. I do remember him commenting that there was caulking all throughout the outside wall around the AC unit. He said that was overkill and it wasn't necessary. The AC unit that was removed was bigger than the new one, so the hole left was quite big. It was good while I didn't live in the condo while I had work done, as well as it not raining as much since it was Summer. but then a few weeks ago, my wife and I started to notice water damage to our laminate flooring, which appeared to spread from the AC as the source. Top it off, a neighbor above had a fast leaking AC unit, which was also dripping water into this hole. After having hired another handyman to fix the job just this past Friday, this new handyman confirmed that the hole that was left open allowed rain to penetrate into the open section to the left of the AC, which allowed for water to pool and build up in the wall, which eventually spread beneath the floor. Quite disappointing, as anyone could imagine since now I have to hire a contractor to find flooring that will match my existing floors, rip out my newly installed expensive baseboards and the damaged flooring to fix everything because I wanted to save about $150.. I'm not in anyway trying to deter anyone from hiring Dave. I'm sure he is competent, but just think for yourself at times and question what is right and wrong. Especially if you see that something is done or set up a certain way in your home, make sure you have him fully inspect and determine if shortcuts are okay.
