Absolutely amazing! I ordered the red snapper, blackened. And the favors were out of this world. Paprika (not like our US version), wine & butter reduction under the broiler. A variety of vegetables -haricots verts, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, carrots al dente, and rice and beans. Wow!! The mango sauce would make Emeril say "Bam"! I would come back again tomorrow to check out the rest of the menu if I weren't leaving to catch a flight. Definitely a nice find on the marina. My waiter, Karim, was beyond friendly and attentive. Just came back from Cabo vacation with girlfriends and had to write about Alexander's . My girlfriends and I had an amazing dinner with great view and impeccable service. This was our 4th time eating here over the years and it is always good. We have gone deep sea fishing in the past and brought our catch here for them to prepare for our meal. Nice to sit out by the marina and enjoy good ole Mexican food! We were there for lunch and didn't want to spend a ton of money, which could have been easy to do. For a table of three, we ordered the shrimp cocktail, guacamole and chips, fish tacos and coconut shrimp with mango. We were so full! The margaritas were good too! read more

We ended up here one day after walking around Puerto Paraiso. This is like the holy grail of Mexican food. I have yet to have anything that wasn't awesome and the staff is great. I do prefer sitting inside with the air as opposed to outside with the misters, but would take the misters over any of the other restaurants on the marina. read more

The food was fantastic here. I had the fettuccine alfredo with chicken which you wouldn't think to order in Mexico, but it was amazing. It's probably the best fettuccine alfredo I've ever had! My hubby had the riveted steak and it was his favorite meal of the trip. My friend ordered the Tarragon Chicken and it was delicious as well. The staff is super friendly, if not a little pushy, but the meal was really nice! The Manager is an Egomaniac!! When i had a disagreement with the manager, he threatened to fight me ... won't be back to this place until he is gone!. He seems to have run off most of the fun people, except Raul! Alexander, i hope you know what you are doing ... i come to Cabo often and won't be back to this restaurant unless the manager situation changes. Last November I stayed in Cabo for 8days with the Baha-Haha fleet and ended up eating most of my meals there. We tried several of the other places around the Marina and in the "Gold Zone" but they pale by comparison to the wonderful and delicious meals served at Alexander! Sits on the marina waterfront and plenty of open air ambience and people watching along the strand walkway-but aside from the quality meals and ambience was the amazing staff and service!! We were treated like friends there and indeed had become so! I want to thank Hakim and the rest of that crew and congratulate The manager Armondo for assembling such a warm and friendly group. We spent our last night in Cabo eating at Alexander and it truly was a memorable experience. The restaurant itslef had such an inviting atmosphere right along the marina and the service was exceptional! Putting the exccellent staff and location aside, the food was absolutely delicious! I love frog legs and have had them many times, many ways, but Alexander's recipe was mouth-watering! The seafood was exceptional as well, and I enjoyed an entirely fried whole red snapper caught two hours before serving! We also enjoyed the combo for two which included a whopping amount of varied seafood. One of the most unique and truly unforgettable experiences true to Alexander was the option of flambè at your table in addition to a live tv screen of their kitchen. Incredibly delicious food, superb customer service from the beginning to the end, great ambiance. My husband was looking for lobster and shrimp and I don't eat seafood so we looked at menus at a few places and nothing really stood out. As we walked by Alexander's we were greeted and shown the menu and told whatever we wanted they would make. The menu is not huge but there's something for everyone, steaks, seafood, chicken, pasta. We started with the tomato and basil salad that included pesto, it was delicious. My husband had lobster and shrimp with rice and vegetables. He thought the lobster was slightly over cooked but delicious. I had the Mexican combo; the beef fajitas were tender and delicious, the Chile relleno was very tasty, and the quesadilla was fine. Way too many flavors going on that dont compliment eachother. I ordered blackened sea bass it came out in a really rich chilli paste sauce and the rice had a curry taste to it which countered all the flavors while eating.
