Came on a Thursday night made reservations thinking it was a la carte. It was a tasting menu. 4 courses for $120 depending which entree you choose. Service was a bit slow and the drinks and food came took a while to come. Had a romantic setting over looking the beach at night with live band. Should try if you have the time. It's at least a 2 hour dinner but overall staff was nice and even the chef came and greeted herself to us too.

Amazing brunch with equally amazing views. Big selection of ceviches, tacos, pastries, fruit, and a grill station with made to order steaks, chicken, and seafood. The bottomless mimosas were also great . Everything was very fresh. The only negative was how hot it was inside the restaurant. We asked for indoor seating since it was 95 degrees out but the A/C wasn't strong enough to keep the area cool. Would definitely recommend for the food and views.

We tried a variety of items including the omelet, huevos rotas, acai bowl, shrimp/steak/fish tacos, detox salad, smoothies, burger and of course, the infamous Cape Toast. Their iced vanilla latte was my favorite way to start the day and wasn't too sweet or artificial tasting. The cape toast exceeded expectations and was my favorite treat of the trip. The cheese layer on the shrimp tacos was *chefs kiss* and the detox salad add shrimp was probably my favorite meal of the week. All so good and fresh. Truly a wonderful option for your stay while in Cabo!
Breakfast here was nothing short of phenomenal. From the service to the menu to the view, my partner and I have only amazing things to say about The Ledge! We found the pastries were not too sweet (best compliment ever, btw), and I loved that you could order coconut water served right from the coconut! I really enjoyed the avocado toast with thick slices of salmon, while my partner enjoyed the French toast. We also shared the açaí bowl and it was very refreshing on a hot day in the early fall. The view was amazing in the mornings, and we found the wait staff friendly and welcoming, while providing great menu recommendations. 5/5 would recommend, especially if you're staying at the resort
The food was spectacular, some of the best you can find in Cabo San Lucas The service was impeccable, from the hostess to the busboy, we were catered to and treated as VIP guests even though we weren't staying at the Thompson this trip. The views and ambiance were magical 10/10 will return
This place was amazing from the views, the ambiance, the cocktails, the service, the live music entertainment...and did I mention THE VIEWS & AMBIANCE!!?!! Though I wasn't a guest at the property EVERYONE made me feel welcomed from entry to exit which I appreciated!!
My favorite restaurant at The Cape!!! (I did not make it to their star restaurant, Manta). I ate here EVERY morning for breakfast; one morning I tried the avocado toast with a poached egg (fair). The next two mornings I ordered the Chipotle spiced lobster eggs benedict- hands down one of the best eggs benedicts I've ever had!!!! The eggs were poached perfectly, the hollandaise sauce was the correct thickness and taste, the lobster was fresh, and the entire meal just had the right amount of seasoning. The chipotle sauce was spicy, but not too spicy. I LOVED it. For lunch another day I ordered the Baja fish tacos- with cabbage slaw and Chipotle aioli and again, was blown away. Absolutely delicious. The aioli was 10/10 and I asked for extra. Another day for lunch I ordered the beef burger with asadero cheese and Dijonnais chimichurri, and again was very satisfied. Definitely recommend eating here; just make sure you have a reservation, especially if it's for dinner!!
Almost hate to expose this place for how amazing it is because a lot of people don't realize that this fine dining experience on the water exists! The hype primarily resides around two other cliffside restaurants in Cabo and unfortunately we weren't able to get into those restaurants with a reservation while we were visiting. We hopped in an Uber and after conversing with the driver in Spanish he recommended/was able to get us a table at this restaurant on a busy Saturday night with two weddings on the property going on. I can't describe enough how awesome this place was- the service. The views, the food, literally everything was so amazing (see photos) Make sure you get permission to attend the exclusive club on the rooftop after dinner! 360 views of Cabo that you cannot get anywhere else.
This restaurant warrants a detailed review because for a motel restaurant the food is better than expected. First, the atmosphere is chic and modern with one of the best views in Cabo. Because of this you will pay about $100 each for a couple drinks, appetizer and meal. If you enjoy fine dining, it's worth it. Initially the server brought a cracker a tuna cheese mix to warm the taste buds. We then had the Margaritas with Duck taquito appetizer plate. This was served with a sauce that added a mild sweetness to the taste. All quite tasty. Bread, including two dinner rolls and two slices of beer based bread (slightly sweet) was served with butter. The servers brought three small mild salsa bowls to go with the food. These were probably the only thing that lacked in taste the whole night. I had the surf & turf served kabob style with roasted potatoes and vegetables. The vegetables were perfectly done, not soft but slightly blackened and flavorful. Potatoes were with melted cheese and perfect. This was the first time that I've enjoyed eating octopus as it was tender and flavorful. The shrimp was perfect, but unfortunately the beef was over cooked with no pink and slightly over salted. My partner had the grilled shrimp with mashed potatoes and vegetables. She stated that everything was cooked to perfection. My chardonnay complimented the meal and was of sufficient quality. I can give the food a 4.5. The ambiance a 5. The 4 rating comes from the billing method that you should be aware of. I didn't notice until later but the tip is included and when I inquired about adding the tip to the credit card the waiter nodded but didn't mention that it was already included on the bill. My hopes are that the excellent servers did actually receive the large double tip because in Mexico that's not always the case. Valet parking is an added bonus. Yes I will return to this restaurant.
Had dinner at the rooftop one evening. I've been here a few times in the past the service and ambiance is incredible and you have views of some of the most incredible sunsets. They play great music and have incredible drinks. Food was okay this time the menu was not as impressive as it has been in the past and we think next time we'd go just for drinks.
One of the best brunches ever. Such a great and fresh selection of food. The ceviches were delicious, the fruit was super fresh. At the meat station I got picanha which was so good. Also love the unlimited mimosas and margaritas that are included in brunch. Views are insanely gorgeous too. We were there in August so it was very hot out and the AC wasn't very cool. But not a huge deal, just something to note if you're sensitive to heat! Phenomenal brunch!
The ledge is a beautiful look out dining area. We were attracted by the live music and the beautiful ocean view. We decided to get ala cart items since we just wanted a snack but their lunch buffet layout was beautiful. The server was attentive and came back to fill my soda cup and water. We were very happy with the blacken fish taco that he recommended and added an octopus ceviche with chips. Will definitely come back. read more

What a wonderful spot to enjoy lunch or dinner. The food is delicious and has your Cabo Mexican style meals. We got the octopus ceviche and fish taco. Really good. Staff is friendly and was very helpful. Location is in a very upscale hotel at the cape. Love this place read more

We went here multiple times while we were staying at The Cape. We enjoyed breakfast pool/beach side on the patio and we got the breakfast buffet every day. It was a little pricey but as expected when staying at a hotel like The Cape. We also had dinner here several nights and it was just as good as breakfast. We loved it so much that we came back twice for the same meal! The servers were very attentive and nice - it truly felt like they wanted you to enjoy your time. They also gave us a complimentary dessert for my boyfriend's birthday! Finally, we did sign up for a cooking class here and it was so much fun! I'm not a very advanced cook but I still enjoyed it so much and learned new things. read more

The food, service, and view were over the top! We enjoyed the seafood tower, guac & chips, Buddha feast salad, the Ledge burger, and catch of the day fish entree. Highly recommend, and the service by Yuli was the best. read more

We stumbled upon this place looking for breakfast. We wanted a view and we're certainly not disappointed. The choice was sit outside or in. It was quite hot that morning so we went inside . We could still hear the live music which was excellent and our table was ideally placed to capture the ocean . The service was outstanding even though they were busy . The manager checked up on us to make sure we we were happy with the service The food and food choice was also excellent. A wide range of food choices from Eggs to Sushi, fruits and cheese to cakes , BBQ to Taco It's a little expensive at $75 a head but you get what you pay for read more

The breakfast here is really good. The pastries are made fresh in house every morning and the bread in the toast too. The Cape toast is this thick fluffy pancake and absolutely delicious. The chilaquiles are alright if you want a slightly Mexican option for breakfast. If you are a Hyatt Globalist or otherwise get your breakfast included, the waitstaff will tell you certain juices and beverages are not included, but we were able to get everything waived upon checkout. We had dinner here one night and it was honestly not bad for a hotel restaurant. There's a handful of stuff on the menu that's for lunch and dinner and the portion sizes are generous. Just two entrees should be enough, maybe an appetizer if you're feeling something interesting. The prices were very reasonable and the service and view is great. read more
My review of 3.5 stars is mainly for the service. I would give 4 stars for the food here. My family recently stayed at the Cape For a few days. We ate at the ledge for dinner once and had breakfast here daily. Pros: The breakfast that was included as part of our stay included one entree (except for the steak and eggs), a juice, coffee (no latte's or things of that nature), and we found out the second day that pastries, sides, and fruit were included as well. Their eggs Benedict (both the mushroom and the ham) were realllyyy tasty and their Cape toast was absolutely perfect! Cons: The service. There was one woman who was great but the other servers on other days were just not that great. One day we finished our entire meal and not one person checked on us or asked if we wanted more coffee-yet the table next to us was getting pampered and waited on hand and foot. Even when I asked for more coffee-the man helped the table next to us instead of bringing us coffee. Then another server came and was basically asking so did you want more coffee? Uhm..I did ask for it but it took an extra ten minutes in which time my 8 month old baby went from happy to get me out of here. The servers also were inconsistent in their service of tables. We often had to ask multiple times for a high chair for our baby. Sometimes there was a wait that was upwards of 30 minutes (so make reservations for breakfast) and some servers knew more than others as to what was included in the complimentary breakfast. For dinner, we were offered bottled water and then charged 18 bucks for two bottles. Not once were we asked if we wanted filtered water..seems really ridiculous considering I of course want a drink with dinner but why Is there no water included or provided?? We ended up getting cocktails but come on..no free water with dinner or any meal for that matter? Some things just rubbed me the wrong way-service, lack of service, inconsistencies, water issue, etc. The food was decent so I give it that but idk if I would be back again. read more

Found inside the beautiful Cape Hotel, The Ledge impressed me. Very COVID safe, they have you use hand sanitizer at the host station, scan a QR code for the menu, and seated outside. The service was top notch. I can't say enough good things about it. Decided on the acai bowl for breakfast So fresh, you have to try it just based on how natural, and fresh it is. It packed a lot of flavor. The tricky part about an acai bowl is, well the acai. I have never had acai like this before. It was so tasty. Being from Southern California, I expected it to be good, but I didn't expect it to blow past my expectations. Just looking at the picture makes me want to order another one. It abs the usual suspects, acai, strawberry, banana, but they also throw in almonds, berries, dates (which is usually don't enjoy, but loved in the bowl), coconut shavings, and more. What really impressed me was the acai, it didn't need to be blended with anything, like back home, it's always blended with something. Here it is the simple acai, and it was full of flavor. Also, you get a view of the famous Cabo Arch "El Arco" while you dine at The Ledge. For lunch I had the amazing, unbelievable, Baja fish tacos. I asked them to blacken mine instead of fry. Wow. Literally I kept saying "wow" with every bite. IG Tip: Take your pic with a view of the Arch in the back. Really hard to beat. read more

Hector was an amazing waiter!!!!! The BEST server (team of servers) of the whole trip!!! Thank you to the Chef for the best filet I've ever had. And the creamy parmesan quinoa was TODOS!!!!! I'm seriously a better human for having eaten dinner there. It was a delight to be your customer and thank you for the memorable experience!!! read more

We ate here for lunch a few times! The food was so delicious and service so friendly and so accommodating. Eating at the cape hotel was our favorite experience in a Cabo. They let you order anything from any of their menus in the hotel. They make amazing cappuccino. Lastly; the views are awesome! The sashimi, salads and chicken sandwich were so tasty! read more
Last night in Cabo and went here to celebrate our birthdays. Javier (our waiter) was lovely and engaging. Helpful as we decided what we wanted to eat. Got the Tostitos and taquitos as apps and they did not disappoint. Incredible view for sunset! Fire works near the marina to end the night. Staff also brought out cupcake for our birthday! read more
Beautiful fine-dining restaurant at the spectacular Cape Hotel. We sat out on the breezy patio, overlooking the ocean and the sparkling lights of downtown Cabo; would be pretty to be here at sunset to actually see El Arco and the views. They brought us some delicious amuse-bouche - a lovely marinated watermelon slice for the vegan in our group, and a pork belly morsel for the rest of us. The fresh bread and butter they brought out was amazing, too. We tried the yellowtail sashimi (wonderful), the catch of the day (also yellowtail) - perfectly prepared, and so delicious, with farm fresh veggies and choice of side and sauce. My vegan daughter had the tomato soup and a garden salad, which had kiwi and cucumbers and was really good. And my husband's ribeye was really flavorful. Are here a few times in person and for room service. It was great all times. I would say the menu is oddly expensive for random things and surprisingly cheap for some items. For breakfast we got The Cape Toast for $15 which is so cheap considering how big it was. Then we got the Eggs Benedict with Chipotle Lobster for $21. Both these dishes were so delicious. For lunch we had the Roasted Shrimp Tacos for $25. This was a bit pricey and bland. We also had the Grilled Wagyu Skirt Steak with Roasted Vegetables and Mashed Potatoes for $23. This was really yummy and cheap considering the shrimp tacos were more expensive. For dessert we had the Matcha Creme Brulée Sesame Seed Crisp, Red Wine and Pear Compote for $5!! $5 for this amazing dessert is unheard of back in NYC. I came back got this dessert and would love to come back to Cabo just for this. It was mind blowing. read more

Manuel was our server as we celebrated Christmas Eve and my 30th birthday. He was a wonderful server, super attentive, friendly and charismatic. We had a three course family style meal for the night and were overall satisfied with the food. Out of all the dishes we tried, there was about 3 entrees they brought for appetizer, main course and dessert. The appetizers consisted of ceviche, beat salad and sea food soup. My favorite was the soup! It was rich in flavor and had just enough spice without overpowering the flavor. For main course, there was a tamale, pork dish and a beef stew with potatoes. I was not a complete fan of the pork dish as it was a bit dry but that was the only dish that we didn't finish. I am not a huge dessert person but felt that the desserts given were decent. They had a chocolate cake infused with orange and caramel, macaroons (those were a bit on the crunchy side). There was another cake that I did not try as they brought out a chocolate cupcake which was really sweet of them to bring! The 3-course meal was priced decently at $64 USD per person and included a welcome cocktail drink of which I received two because they were super yummy and festive, I'm a big Jamaica fan! Overall, Manuel made us feel super welcomed and we enjoyed our experience here. Definitely need to come back during lunch time to enjoy the view! read more

This restaurant hands down, has the best quality food you'll ever eat. Fransisco, Victor, Christian, and Marco went out of their way to serve us, explain in detail of each item on the menu and made sure we didn't leave until we were 110% satisfied with the food. They were very hospitable, respectful and vigilant of their customers. We felt very welcome and taken care of. Take it from me, I promise you will not regret dining here, it's a memorable and the food is exquisite. The view is also breathtaking. Here for Megan & Dominic's wedding menu tasting gave us a head start on what to expect. The Ledge is one of the restaurants at the Cape. Absolutely make it for breakfast for the French Toast with Almonds. Portion is large enough to share as it's rich, velvety and crispy all at the same time. Fried Octopus Taco is like no other as the "Tako" was tender and delish in the tortilla. Chips and Guacamole either the variety of sauces!!! Ask for more chips as the guac is generous. Best yet is the Daily Catch Ceviche which is lime-strong and cucumber crunchy. You'll need to ask for additional bowls of chicharron x3 as the ceviche was drowning in freshness. Oh so good!! Service is attentive and the view on the patio added to our meal. read more

I don't know where to start. Our server Andra very knowledgeable about the menu and couldn't of done any better. She deserves 10 stars. From appetizers to dessert everything was exceptionally. Cooked to perfection! All staff members were on point. I asked to speak to manager I wanted to acknowledge the amazing service. The manager Alexis brought out the cook. I expressed how happy I was with service and how delicious everything was. The view that was a bonus. I highly recommend this place. read more
Had an amazing lunch right when we got to our resort. Our waiter Rojello was amazing! Super friendly had great suggestions for different activities as this is our first time in Cabo. The food was so fresh and it was nice to start with some mezcal drinks! I would totally come back here again and hopefully get Rojello again, thanks for a great experience. read more

Great restaurant! They were very accommodating with my vegan diet even offering a separate menu. The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. They brought a birthday cupcake for my sister and I at the end of our meal, very nice touch. read more
