Roasted Grill & Bar was an absolute highlight of our recent trip to Cabo! We planned one evening out for dinner and landed on Roasted in downtown Cabo, and we hit the jackpot! The evening we dined here it was raining, and while that is normally not significant, Roasted is partially open-air with the middle of the restaurant having no cover, so the rain was pouring in and effectively closed 60% of the place. When we arrived, the hostess and owner were apologetic and offered to rebook us, but we aren't quitters and a little rain does hurt us...but they also had a table near the entrance that was covered, so we decided to take it and enjoy our evening. Best decision ever! We started our evening off with a few cocktails paired with shrimp ceviche, queso fundido with chorizo, guacamole and an assortment of salsas. Once we ate through all this goodness, we tossed in our main courses of short rib, octopus, imperial shrimp and tampequena's. Finally we rounded out our meal with a few desserts consisting of cheesecake, chocolate flan and key lime pie! Everything was cooked to perfection, plated beautifully and absolutely delectable from first to last bite! The tampequena was my order and consisted of flank steak sided with a chile relleno and quesadilla...all of my favorite things as one meal? Sign me up! The desserts were delightful with all of us non-flan people being converted after trying the chocolate flan! Ownership put the desserts and a round of tequila shots on the house due to rain, which is more than they had to do. We were beyond thankful and appreciative. Service was phenomenal as well. Our server, the hostess, owner and food runners were all engaged, friendly and helpful. The space itself is absolutely gorgeous! The lit tree in the middle of the restaurant is a centerpiece and a perfect anchor to the decor and vibe. Overall, Roasted was one of the best dining experiences we have had in a long time, and definitely the best one we had while in Cabo. Do yourself a favor and come here! We definitely know we will be back!
Excellent service, great hospitality and great food. Open grill. Shrimps were jumbo and generous. The pasta dishes were huge. We also received complimentary desserts.
Staying at a nearby resort and and not doing the All Inclusive plan so we planned to get out and found the Roasted Grill and Bar . Ordered the Sea and Earth and it was great. Service was excellent and the Mesquite wood burning made the ambiance nice. Lots of tasty food and I'm sure rest of the menu would not disappoint. Make a reservation in advance by phone or if walking by walk inside and Monica or someone will help you.
Flys oh wait Flys and more Flys It's unbelievable your paying good $$ for a supposedly Good steak when it taste like Chuck Steak dont be fooled. They definitely need to to something about the Flys your girl will be disappointed and uncomfortable skip out fellas unless you want eat Flys. You will remember this review if you go there.
2lb Lobster Tail - come on!!! This is my second experience here and the service is always amazing and food is top notch! Love the ambiance with the tree in the middle of the restaurant. Definitely a local favorite as it's always packed! Their cocktails and mocktails are delish and pretty.

Food menu was unique and memorable food! Ambiance was charming. I would love to go back there again! Best food I had while in Cabo.

Service could be little slow but responsive and attentive with English speakers. Lamb chops are juicy and delicious. Grilled Octopus is in secret menu, ask for it. Desserts are lined options but great. Try carrot cake. Options are generous with complementary bread and butter. Meal ends with complementary tequila shots. Reservation is recommended due to small number of seating otherwise expect wait time. Free street parking enable but hard to find spot.
Heard about this restaurant from a local and we were very impressed! One of our favorite nicer restaurants in Cabo. They have a well diverse menu - seafood, steak, pastas, & more and everything we tried was well executed. The surf and turf platter was the hit of the night. Waiter told us it was good for 4 and it was definitely that, with leftovers. We also tried a pasta pomodero and it was yummy with a little kick. The imperial shrimp are a must get if you like shrimp. These are bacon wrapped, jalapeno stuffed. Yum! I would also highly recommend the tampiquena steak - Mexican style steak with a chile relleno. Best starters were queso fundido (MUST GET!) and the caprese was also very fresh! My one draw back was the temperature, but I know that's hard to fix. We came in August and it was very very hot and muggy. But didn't change our thoughts on the restaurant overall. Just something to note. read more
Because a cousin highly recommended this restaurant, I dined here with my party of 5. Let me set the atmosphere: low 90s, mid 60% humidity, and flies too numerous to count. While there were fans and a covered dining area, this was no match for the uncomfortable August weather and ubiquitous flies. In the center of the dining area is a beautiful tree, but beware of the birds pooping on your table or worse, your food. To make the best of our situation, Marco and his servers set out table fans and I asked for extra cloth napkins to be placed over our food. Complimentary Bread Rolls with herbed butter Sea & Earth BBQ Ribs Octopus Sea Bass - was not "to die for" as cousin advertised Asparagus Beer Margarita 2 complimentary desserts - cheesecake + gelatin flan over chocolate cake complimentary 5 Perros Tequila shots for everyone While we all enjoyed our food, I wouldn't consider it outstanding and the flies, heat, and humidity made for a miserable experience despite complimentary desserts and Tequila shots. However, service was great and Marco did his best to make the most of our less than stellar experience. Because we had an early 5:30p reservation, we were able to park in front of the restaurant. read more
Super value with friendly service and good homestyle food! Had fish of the day, skirt steak, water and a soda--wait for it--dessert AND a shot of tequila is on the house!!! All this with tax n tip $85 usd. If you are in the area a good place to stop in for a meal. read more

The food, ambience, and service were absolutely amazing! We ordered the nachos and tampiquena and the grapefruit martinis. We told them we were celebrating our anniversary, and they brought 3 complementary slices of different cakes along with 3 shots of tequila. We will definitely be returning! read more

Amazing dinner while in Cabo! The ambiance was nice with a beautiful lit up tree in the middle of the restaurant. Our table was right by the check in desk, which wasn't ideal, but honestly once we sat down we didn't really notice. All of our cocktails and plates were delicious. We were given two complimentary desserts and a round of shots! We will definitely be back! read more

DO NOT GO TO EDITHS, GO HERE!!! We walked in thinking they were not open... being from the service industry we said we'd come back, but they welcomed us in with open arms!! From the smoke on the espresso martini to the incredible, mouth watering food I was blown away. Service? I dropped my fork and before I could even pick it up, another one was brought to me. You feel like royalty dining here. This place is immaculately clean. Spotless. So so glad we found this place, sad we found it on our last day. We will be back... Walked past this one day and the smell alone made me know I had to try it. I decided I would dine there my last night in Cabo. There is a tree in the center of the place which I thought was great. My steak was delicious, the veggies were cooked to perfection. I wish I paid more attention to the baked potato, the bacon bits were meh. My bad on that, had I known, I would have asked to not add them. Service was great, we had two bartenders taking our orders, they were friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu and how thins were prepared. The hostess was extremely friendly and helpful as well. The couple sitting next to me told me they visit Cabo a lot and make sure to always eat here. I see why. I wish I had the appetite to order the tomahawk steak...both the bartenders and the customers next to me made it sound so good read more
Drawn by the Yelp reviews, three of us came for dinner. It was hot and humid outside. 85 degrees. There were ceiling fans given the open air setting. The service was amazing. 5 stars. They even stood around us swatting the clouds of flies that gathered when the food was delivered. We had really good margaritas. Ordered the lobster, ribeye and shrimp (5) combo. It comes with a large baked potato with bacon and drawn butter and sauce. It also includes large portion of grilled, peppers, asparagus and lettuce, onions. It was truly amazing. the huge lobster tails and shrimp were perfectly grilled. Tender, juicy, and amazing flavor. We all focused on these. The grilled veggies were crunchy, but tender. A true grill master was in the house. The ribeye was also perfectly done medium. THere was so much food we took the ribeye and some veggies home for another meal for two of us. This was one of the best dinners we had in Cabo. We had the porterhouse/lobster dinner for 4 which was more than enough food. Service was excellent, food to die for and atmosphere was spot on. Staff hooked us up with complimentary shots and dessert for my husband's birthday. Definitely a place you want to eat at. read more

This was very close to the resort we were staying at. We showed up without a reservation. We were greeted right away and taken to a table. Quite a few flies around early, but once the sun went down the flies shut down. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. They went over their specials and took our drink orders quickly. We ordered the short rib and the salmon dinners. The short rib was massive! Had really good flavor and wasn't too difficult to eat. The salmon was made with a really good sauce a side of vegetables and mashed potatoes. Everything was delicious! Definitely worth a repeat trip. They brought us a slice of cheesecake and a tequila shot at the end of dinner! We'll be back! read more

Disappointed Made a reservation for one of our favorite restaurants in Cabo and it took them almost a week to reply with a "decline". Only giving us 4 days left before Valentines Day to book something else. We may never go back to this place again - very disappointed in their very slow follow through. read more

Compared to nearby restaurants, you should pick this place. The food was delicious, from their rolls and special butter blend to the steak and imperial shrimp. When we ate there, July 4th, everyone in the restaurant got a free cheesecake for dessert, and it was delicious. I don't know whether they do this all the time or if it was for the US holiday. Regardless, we highly recommend eating here; the food and service was 10 times better than any of the resorts/hotels. read more

Believe the hype this place is worth it! Tucked away in the heart of Cabo San Lucas, Roasted Grill and Bar was a fantastic way to end our visit--elevated without being pretentious, and absolutely worth a stop if you're looking for a memorable dinner experience in Los Cabos. We started the evening with warm, crusty bread and creamy butter, a simple but comforting way to ease into the meal. Our Caesar salads arrived fresh, crisp, and generously dressed--classic, but executed perfectly. The star of the evening was the Tierra y Mar (Earth and Sea) platter, which we shared. It was a beautifully presented mix of land and ocean flavors--succulent, perfectly cooked, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. We paired it with a bottle of Pinot Noir from their well-curated wine list, which complemented the dish beautifully. Service throughout the night was friendly and attentive without ever feeling rushed or overbearing. The staff was warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming, which added to the overall experience. While this would definitely be considered a higher-end restaurant by Cabo standards, it's an excellent value for the quality of food, wine, and service. Honestly, a meal of this caliber would easily cost double in the U.S. We ended the night with a delightful surprise--a thank-you slice of cheesecake, on the house. A sweet and thoughtful way to close out an already impressive meal. Final Verdict: A standout spot in Cabo with gourmet flavors, excellent service, and great value. The hubby was craving steak so we decided yo try this place out after we went to mango deck. Place was easy to find. The setting of the place is outside and it was a hot day when we arrived. We were greeted by the nice staff and they let us know of a couple specials they had. We had the sea and earth platter, a Cesar salad and a soup which I forgot but it was like a pumpkin. The soup was pretty good but wish the temperature of it was hotter. The salad was good as well, can't complain. The star of the dish was our entree! Everything was cooked perfectly, seasoned nicely and I enjoyed the butter for the lobster. Steak was a little small compared to some of the other pictures but was enough that we were so full by the end of our meal. The shrimp was really good and the lobster too. I would definitely come back and eat that meal again. The only bad was when our meal arrived a bunch of flies came by from it raining. The server was kind enough to light rosemary bundle and place napkins over our food to help with that. They also gave us a piece of chocolate cake on the house which was good and I forgot, the bread and butter was really good as well. read more
