I scheduled a 50 min "Enhanced" facial with nano infusion and red light LED therapy. The Nano infusion is a deep hydration. The red light is anti aging and boost collagen and reduces inflammation. Both of these treatments are so perfect for me! she picked the treatments based on my statement that I'm concerned about aging skin and hyperpigmentation. Natalie was super attentive and was able to pick my treatments based on my needs. The space itself... super easy parking beautiful and girly space. I have been suffering from hormonal acne for the past 8 months. My face was broken out with acne all over my chin as well as my forehead. My acne was very painful, even hurt to wash my face. I am a long standing client with Alexis K. And I will tell you that the new online booking system truly is a lifesaver. Case in point. Last night, I went to an event and had temporary eyelashes put in by my longstanding makeup artist. Unfortunately, she used a new adhesive which was pretty strong and I lost most of my beautiful natural lashes when I removed them when I came home. All I was left with a very short row of stock lashes. OMG! I was so sad and didn't know what I could do. Then I remembered about Alexis K's new online booking system. Desperate, I went online at 11pm and was able to book an appointment for this morning first thing at 10am. MIRACULOUS! Today, I saw Claudia and she was such a gem. She gave me such a beautiful set of natural looking lashes and made me feel great. I knew that I would need some extensions until my natural lashes could grow back in. She did such a great job, It was like I didn't even lose my real ones. And, I love them so much, I am going back tomorrow for more. I went into Alexis K two days before my wedding to have all my last minute details taken care of. I arrived around 9am and spent the rest of the morning with Brianne. She did my brows, dermaplaning, microdermabrasion, brazilian and spray tan and I LOVED the results. My skin felt soft, clean, and brand new and my eyebrows had the perfect arch! I was super nervous about the brazilian as it was my first one ever, but she talked me through everything and explained each step, making me feel more comfortable. She even gave me a stress ball and lollipop to distract me! The spray tan had the perfect amount of sun kissed glow and was the finishing touch for my day. Alexis has her own technique for brows and just has the knack for knowing what looks right on each person's face. She convinced me to let some grow (even though I was convinced she forgot to tweeze them) and I have to say that I'm completely impressed with the difference in the before and after. Starting out at Anastasia in Beverly Hills, I became spoiled and expected nothing but the best from the brow salons in San Diego. Sadly, that wasn't the case at other "Anastasia trained" salons. I am SO HAPPY that I found Alexis K. My brows are ALWAYS perfect when I leave. They embrace the full natural look with a great arch. I am very serious about my brows (as I think we all should be) and I trust them wholeheartedly with both Brianne and Claudia. The salon is extremely cute with a great location right on Cedros. I see Caludia every two weeks for an eyebrow wax and she is absolutely amazing! My eyebrows always look perfect (and I have huge, unruly eyebrows). She is open to me telling her exactly what I want and she always follows through. Not only is she good at what she does but she is super friendly. We have great conversations everytime I'm there...never met someone that could talk and do brows at the same time without screwing them up. Krista at the front desk is also very nice and friendly. I have been going to Alexis K for many years. Alexis K is a warm and welcoming place! I highly recommend Claudia, she is such a thorough professional and she is my absolute favorite aesthetician in San Diego. Love the "detox and glow facial" and the "works". I gave them 4 stars as I am a sucker for great customer service and in my opinion this place doesn't go above and beyond. I do feel that they should offer more specials to their loyal customers to retain their business. This is an amazing little Gem on Cedros in Solana Beach surrounded by other fun boutiques, cafes and hair salons. I always go to Alexis K to get my Eye lashes tinted by Claudia. Being fair skinned also means my eyelashes are naturally very blonde. It takes her about 10 minutes of pain free work to give my lashes a much more dramatic and mascara free look! I absolutely love their Carmel Mountain location, but I hate their Point Loma location. I've never had issues at Carmel Mountain, but I constantly have issues in Point Loma. I've repeatedly had issues with their website, allowing you to book on days that they are not open and their website hours on Google saying they're open even when they're not. I've contacted them multiple times about this, but the issue has never been resolved. I'll be honest this was one of the only places I have ever trusted to do my eyebrows and I had a great experience a handful of times I've been to Carmel Mountain. But they really need to get new management for the point Loma location. I know it is new, but that is not an excuse for how it is currently running. I've also heard other reviews from friends of mine saying that they will show up on time for their appointment and the staff is not there and has been up to 30 minutes late for their appointment. I hope to continue to be a customer because I do love the Carmel Valley location, but I really hope they can step it up in point Loma. Overall, I have a bad taste in my mouth from the poor experiences in PL.

Let me start this review by saying I bought a Groupon for this location. This was also my very…read morefirst time getting eyelash extensions and I was really nervous. The place seemed a little difficult to find for some people, according to the phone calls I overheard while waiting for my appointment. Its the 2nd floor, and you can take the elevator up or use the stairs. There's only two suites on the floor so it's a 50/50 chance you'll walk in to the wrong suite! I made my appointment with Kay and she began promptly on time. She had me lie down and cleaned my lashes thoroughly before beginning. Then, the next hour and a half she worked on my lashes. Everyone's eyes are different and we all have different sensitivities. I am pretty sensitive. Hair dye can easily get my eyes stinging in a few seconds. But this was worse than the stinging from hair dye. It was like someone dripped hydrogen peroxide in my eyeballs for an hour and half, slowly, and I was paying money for this to be done. And it showed, because the next morning my entire eyeball was red. I called the office and they suggested a Saline solution (which helped) but I was also upset because one of my eye's lashes were droopier than the other. Anyways, I went back to get a touch up the next morning with Boo and she re-glued some lashes that fell off from the saline solution rinse. Didn't hurt as much, but my eye was still red and sensitive (which Boo said was normal) so I could barely tell the difference in technique. During both visits, Boo and Kay commented/criticized the shortness of my lashes. They suggested those lash growth serums and biotin pills. I didn't exactly enjoy hearing how short my lashes were while I laid uncomfortably on a chair. And the reason I was getting lash extensions were because my eyelashes were so short... But I believe they gave me less lashes for what I paid for because I had less lashes than most clients. So I suggest getting a consultation before paying for the Diva Lashes. It's been 4 weeks since I got my lashes and I still have some left. However, i had at least 1 lash fall off every day since getting them.

They offer tap to pay, and QR codes to pay whichever staff does your service. I personally have the brow tab, which gives you 6 brow threadings for the price of 5. As of 08/15/2026, the brow tab is $90.

Is it authentic? Jessica rarely works there and doesn't appear to have many clients. I go to 2 businesses who sublease from Lashes Desire; they pay rent to help keep Jessica's failing business afloat. The sub lessees are professional and very sweet hardworking people. It is heartbreaking to witness Jessica abuses and bully them on a regular basis. Jessica installed a number lock in the front door so clients cannot freely enter the businesses. Hidden cameras were installed to spy on said sub lessees and their clients. Wi-fi was disconnected spitefully. Questionable rituals were performed after business hours. Recently, right before a record heatwave and a weather event, a lockbox was purposely installed on the thermostat to deny access to sub lessees . Soon after, Rancho Bernardo reached almost 100 degrees with oppressive humidity. The sub lessees and their clients, many of them seniors, by design, suffered. At 10am it was already 83 degrees. The temperature continued to climb in the afternoon. California indoor heat rules require employees to maintain indoor temperature at 82F or below to prevent heat-illnesses. Jessica was blatantly unreachable during this heat crisis despite many were suffering inside her business! On occasions when Jessica has a client and shows up to work, she'd abruptly slam open the front door and storm through the sublease tenants spaces; kicking and moving any furniture in her path. The loud slamming of objects continue into her own workspace till her client arrives. After that she would audibly bad mouth the sublease tenants then complained about her own unfortunate life. We are all terrified at her unstable and unpredictable behavior. Lashes Desire is run by a disturbed individual who designed a hostile working environment unpleasant for all. I would not recommend this business at all, not even as a Halloween experience.

I've gotten compliments from family on my lashes from Marlena, because they're pretty short and hard to lift. Thank you!
