I love that they grow most of their own hops and other ingredients, and the outdoor space is really nice, with lights strung up above you. The beer is good and consistent. I enjoyed the IPA they had on tap and M enjoyed the rye and the red ale. You order inside their tasting room, where there are a few small tables for indoor seating. They also had tables set up in front of the tasting room that were covered, then they have a large outside area with picnic tables and other seating arrangements. When we went the second time we couldn't light any of the firepits due to a burn warning in effect. The first time we went, it was later in the day and the food truck had run out of food. The second time we went, we had better luck and ordered from a Thai food truck. Food was great and they accepted Venmo, which is always a plus. Check their FB page so you know what kind of food truck they'll have. Overall, we would return when passing through the area. It's a good find!

There was a Nacho food truck on the day we went which was also great. Plenty of seating as they had a large tent set up with tables and chairs. We even got to see the two cats on property who were adorable. Great way to spend a low key afternoon.

A bit of a trek from NYC, but definitely a local favorite, and many travel here from far away. I can see why - and let me tell you, IT IS WORTH THE TRIP. Both times, we've had the "baek suk" which is steamed chicken that have been cooking for hours and hours. We've also had "jang uh" which is eel - that is farmed and caught by the owners themselves! This is probably the best chicken and eel I've ever had in my life. The meal also comes with plenty of side dishes. There's no menu, but from what I can gather, the prices are as follows: Eel (Janguh) for 2 people: $30 Chicken soup (Baek suk) for 1 person: $55 Spicy chicken stew (Dakdoritang) for 2 people: $55 Whole pig BBQ for 10 people: $700 Basically, our group of 10 wanted to try everything on the menu except for the pig (save for next time!) and we just called ahead and told them that we didn't need whole portions of everything for every person. I think the owners portioned the dishes based on what we wanted, and it was perfect! It ended up being about $50pp for tax and tip. Pricey, but well worth it. Make sure to call in advance! Everything is cooked to order, and it's really helpful for them to know exactly what time you arrive. Wonderful, wonderful meal. Can't wait to be back!

I have plenty of experience with Korean food from visits to this Asian country, and I have to say the food served at Kim's Farm is very authentic, but also unique in that they source the food from its own farm, including the grilled freshwater eel which is raised on location. Apart from the eel I also had "Dak bokkeum tang" (spicy braised chicken) which was just as delicious. The sweet lady who owns the restaurant/resort told me that their peak season is usually Spring-Summer, so unfortunately I missed out on a few highlights of coming here, but if I'm ever in the area again I sure know a great spot to come back to with friends and family!

It's already amazing as it is and I can't wait to see what's coming next! I hear about farm dinners and food trucks and just being out in the fields. Can't wait to see this place evolve and flourish. For now, you get to have a little taste of their farm with all local produce, flowers, herbs and lots more handpicked right from their farm. Merry was so kind and helpful when it came to explaining the different peppers they have, their local produce even their really cool Greek basil. The best part is EVERYTHING is organically grown and pesticide free. What else could you possibly want! Oh yeah, if you want to become a member you TOTALY can. As a CSA member, you have the chance to not only support the local farmers but you will receive a farm fresh basket of seasonal vegetables EVERY week for 10 weeks. This is definitely a great deal if you don't live too far like myself! Every spring they have a plant sale and at the moment they still had some plants available for the late planters such as tomatoes, basil, peppers and some others of that kind. You can take a plant home right there and grow in a pot or put straight in the ground. Seeds are also available! Love their concept and what they do. The best part is being able to support local especially during these times. They're taking all types of safety precautions and have gloves available for you to pick your own produce and bag it yourself. Pricing is VERY reasonable. You can even take home your favorite piece of pottery, done all locally.

Now that the kids are older, I heard that they have events for adults at night during fall weekends. I went Saturday night and really enjoyed myself. My wife did also, we made this event our date night and will most likely be back either on a date or with friends. All of the employees were extremely nice and the farm was lit up and decorated beautifully. The choices of food and drinks (alcohol and nonalcoholic) were great. Each food and beverage option was clearly thought out by the owners to make their guests get into the Autumn and Halloween season. There is a gift shop that is filled with country items and different little knickknacks and tasty bites. You enter through the store, so I would recommend buying your stuff before your night begins so they do not run out of stock. There were fires pits and a band that played all night. The band was perfect! They were not loud and just played the right type of music for the atmosphere. I have been to a lot of outside venues like this one and the bands are either too loud or play music that is "just not right". The band Pierson's had was very low key but were excellent musicians and the lead singer had a great voice and their choice of songs were perfect for the atmosphere. The prices for drinks, food and gift shop items are in line with prices at other events of this type in the area. Thank you Pierson's staff and owners for providing such a great event. Have more please!!
