These were delicious! I ordered 150 as favors for a golden anniversary I hosted for my parents. As an homage to my parents cultural backgrounds (Peruvian and Filipina) Patricia made traditional dulce de leche AND ube. They were a hit! They were light, fresh and not overly sweet. Guests requested extra and gobbled them up. Communication with Patricia was easy. They were all very good- visually appealing, light, crumbly, and were definitely fresh. If you've never had Peruvian alfajores- they're a better tasting version of a "sugar cookie" 5 stars - not because these were the best cookies I've ever had, but because Alfajores Narciso specializes in these and there is nothing that I can think of that would make these cookies better (except a glass of milk). read more
