This tiny little bakery is a bit difficult to locate but also difficult to resist once you walk by and see and smell the cookies! They are open late selling cookies (and there are GF options) and ice cream, and the portion sizes are VERY generous. We stopped in quickly after a concert and found the service and atmosphere to be inviting and the food absolutely delicious. I would wholeheartedly recommend stopping and eating here to anyone close by for events at The Regency Ballroom or something! They even heat the cookies up before serving them!! I would have taken pictures of the food, but I couldn't let my ice cream melt or the cookie get cold!! read more

I've been curious about this place for the longest time. I've passed them by a million times and never noticed because there's almost no signage on the exterior. I saw no Yelp reviews had been posted for over a year, so wasn't 100% sure if it was operational, but their online order platform was active. Today, curiosity got the best of me, so I came over to give it a try! I ordered curbside pick-up of one cookie - the S'mores cookie. After about 10 minutes, one of the staff came out, called my name, & handed me my cookie. He was really warm & friendly which left me with a good impression. I got home & tried the cookie right away, and I can truly say this is a hidden GEM. For many sweet treat establishments, it's often convenient to label something as S'mores just because it has marshmallows & chocolate. But this bakery goes the EXTRA mile to get the Graham cracker layer on the bottom, and it SLAPPED! With the way the cookie was built, it legitimately tasted like I was eating a s'more!! This was 100% worth the indulgence. Love the whimsical cloud shape of the cookie, too. (Note: I warmed up in microwave for 10 seconds, then 6 more seconds, but the extra 6 was a bit much. I'd maybe just do no more than 11-12 seconds next time.) Also: there's not just marshmallow on top - it's also within from what I could tell! Frequently excludes items paid for in UberEats delivery orders. I ordered cookies for my parents for their annual vacation in SF. My Dad loves the S'mores cookies and my Mom loves the lemon cookies. It was one of those nights where I wanted something sweet and had a cookie craving and saw Stirred, Not Shaken and boy was I pleasantly surprised how delicious these cookies were. They came in a box, each cookie individually wrapped. These were soft and chewy and they did not break or fall apart when you bite into them. *White chocolate chip *Oatmeal cookie *Bacon chocolate chip *S'mores *Chocolate chip cookie These cookies were quite large and each bite was tasty. I am not a cookie person. My family members are not cookie people. In fact, we don't even really eat sweets or desserts. But these cookies are sinfully delicious... which is why my non-cookie family ordered approximately 20 cookies this week from "Stirred, Not Shaken." The cookies are large, chewy, and soft in the middle. There's a subtle variation of textures, and when you bite into the cookie you get a nice doughy, hearty bite. The cookie in the picture is ginger molasses. It's possibly my favorite cookie of all time. It's got a balanced sweetness with ginger that gives it a little something special (like a bit of kick, but it's not spicy... know what I mean?). I took a few bites before realizing I should write a review on Yelp -- but by then, the damage was done. My brother ordered Oatmeal Walnut and gave rave reviews. Ordered Doordash at 9pm on a Saturday because I got a major craving for cookies. Delivery was super quick! I ordered the walnut chocolate chip, salt chocolate chip, and peanut butter chocolate chip. These cookies were good but not as good as I was expecting after reading the great reviews. Definitely not better than Levain like someone mentioned below. These are the cookies you've been looking for. Super soft and chewy on the inside. Sugary and crisp on the outside. The mixins are all well distributed throughout the cookies. The toppings are well covered. The cookies are big. They were made for milk dunks if you're into that type of thing, which I am. Really all the things I'm looking for from a cookie. Their hours are fluctuating during shelter in place so check Yelp and DoorDash for hours. It's worth it when you catch them while they're open though. We got a dark double chocolate crackle, normal double chocolate crackle, and chocolate chip cookie. The dark one is to die for if you love getting hit with deep, rich chocolate. It's fudgy like a brownie or dense cake. The other cookies were good too. The middles are a little underbaked which makes them nice and soft. Do you ever just sit on your couch on a Thursday night and crave cookies at 9pm? I do! So happy I found this gem on uber eats!! I ordered the snicker doodle, white chocolate and chocolate chip cookies. They were incredibly chewy, I mean, absolutely perfectly baked! Not to mention, they were way bigger than I expected! Oh my gosh the tastiest cookies ever. I ordered them on Uber eats but then I found out their like just a 10 minute walk away from me, so I mean, that's really good for me. I love the box and how each cookie comes individually wrapped. The chocolate chip cookie is so good. I know it's basic, but it's good. I also loved the snickerdoodle one. Dessert is my favorite course, so yes I'm a dessert snob. I ordered a dozen for local delivery. They deliver free between 8 AM- 10 AM. Me thinks "meh". I've had a better cookie. First of all, the cookies were very cold. I expected a warm cookie or at least room temp. I selected S'mores, Ginger, White chocolate, chocolate chip walnut to share in the office for a co-worker's Birthday. Not one single person raved about the taste. For me (I had S'mores) it was just s regular cookie. Nothing stood out in terms of the flavor profile. It did not make me want more. The baking started as a hobby out of a home kitchen, selling cookies at semi-pro soccer games at Kezar Stadium. We have since grown into a fully-staffed bakery & catering company, delivering both small and large orders for munchies, birthdays & dinner parties, as well as corporate events & weddings.

Meet the Business Owner: Dan P.

As a high school math teacher, Dan started his baking hobby on the side and would bring cookies into school to share with students and staff. His hobby became a passion and eventually a quest for the perfect cookie. He has since developed an assortment of cookie recipes to meet the flavor desires of the San Francisco Bay Area. It's a bun with a crunchy topping on the top and so it looks like a pineapple. The top coating tastes very similar to butter shortbread cookies from the Hawaiian's Honolulu Cookie company. The bread is super soft inside and warm, and when they put a slice of butter inside, it melts into the bread. It's also kinda chewy inside like a mochi consistency. I recommend the original custard pineapple bun. The salted egg yolk pineapple bun was also good but I think it should have had a little more filling. If you're craving savory pastries, the bbq pork pineapple bun is also good. The croissant egg tarts are fantastic. The custard tastes like a Portuguese egg tart but the crust is super crunchy and flakey. There's a caramelized sugar coating around the crust which makes it extra crispy. Highly recommend! Next time I'd probably order online and come for pickup. There's two lines and they're both pretty long: ordering and pick up. Btw they take only cash if you order in person. They said the wait was 15 more min for egg tarts and we ended eating almost 40 min :/ so prepare for the lines and wait time.

The pizza crust was thin and crispy - with just the right amount of chew - and tasted slightly of sourdough. Topping-wise, the mushrooms were abundant but not overpowering; however, I wish there had been other vegetables to balance out the flavor. Paying less than $5 for a generously-sized slice (adorned with a mini slice on top) felt like a bargain, especially in SF. I would definitely make the trip back out here to give the pizza another try and to pick up some of the other baked goods.

These cookies are the best . . .They are HUGE . . . .not sure of the tonnage but a great value regardless! My favorite without question is the ginger molasses . . . .soft and chewy, melt-in-your-mouth heaven with so so much flavor! The Oatmeal Walnut runs a close second when I feel a healthier choice should be made, and then the Snickerdoodle is my third favorite, as I'm crazy for cinnamon, but you really can't go wrong with any of the flavors. They are great as gifts, too, because they ship well packaged, well sealed, and fast! They also freeze really well if you can miraculously stop yourself from eating them all at once.
