This coffee shop is very trendy and cool with 8 tables + WiFi for working or catching up with friends. Amazing AC and music playing in the background. I ordered ahead on the app and it was ready when I arrived! I order an iced vanilla latte, with coconut milk with extra ice and syrup! Extra .75 cents for non dairy milk. The latte is amazing - not too sweet and the right about if caffeine, there's a parking lot behind the shop and also metered parking out front. read more

Feels like an average coffee shop, nothing too different that's worth noting. Ordered their "world famous" vanilla latte, it tasted like a regular vanilla latte but I will say that it felt very smooth. Coffee came out in literally a minute (not a busy time when I visited). Only knocking off a star because my friend and I were ready to order and the cashier kept talking with her coworker because I guess their conversation was more important. read more

I was so excited when an Alfred's opened up closer to me, but it's turned out to be a big miss. Besides having adequate amount of parking, this store is lacking compared to the Ventura Place location. I pick up a matcha latte 3-4 times a week from Alfred's. When I order at the Coldwater location, they hardly put any matcha in their drinks. Once mixed it looks like you're drinking milk with a tint of matcha. Whereas the Ventura Place location when you order there it's always a very vibrant green color. It's literally a night and day difference. I stopped coming here although the Coldwater location it's closer to me. Customer service is also nonexistent here, no one acknowledges you or says hi. I don't have a problem with workers having side conversations, but don't deliberately ignore customers especially when there's 4 people working behind the counter. read more

I really wanted to love this location due to how close it is to home but this was my third time here and third time being disappointed, some of the staff is truly so kind but the gentleman taking my order made the experience so unpleasant, I wanted an iced cappuccino because their lattes are always far to much milk and said "we don't do that" offered a latte with a "short pour" which is fine but I'm still being charged for the larger sized latte just half filled? You can see in the photo the latte is only half full. It also tasted like mud water. I miss Alfred having baristas that pull shots. The specialty offer experience is gone. It didn't feel like I had the option to say no thank you because of how rushed and frustrated he sounded, I was the only one there at the time so I didn't understand the urgency, I don't think I'll be back. read more

I was happy that this location was closer to my work, and I recently ordered an Uber eats order for a 24oz drink and a croissant. Unfortunately I received a 16oz drink after waiting so long and spending so much; just to get the wrong size. I did call to let the team member know and he offered a free drink as a remedy. I didn't want to be extra about it so I went today paid for a new drink. I ordered the same drink in the 24oz but it was made wayyyyy too sweet for my liking they went ham on the chai liquid they use. When in the past my drink has been less sweet and tasted more balanced. It's really starting to feel like the inconsistency pattern will continue. I can tell there's a lot of new staff that's training and learning but there should be more quality control overall if this location looks to keep clientele. read more

The best iced vanilla latte, always consistent and unique. Great place to grab coffee and staff are always friendly and helpful, no matter how busy they are. They also have a great selection of baked goods. I think the collaboration with Wake and Late is good, but not as good as the OG Wake and Late stores tbh. read more

I have ordered from this spot usually from Postmates. I really love their cloud cream coffee it is absolutely delish and ever since I discovered it I never went back to Starbucks, but I guess now I need to be on the lookout for someplace else because the owner is not caring, very cold, and such a rude person. I visited the actual location two weeks ago (AND MIND YOU THE LOCATION IS FAR FROM MY HOUSE) and I didn't even know that they don't accept cash, WHAT KIND OF LOCATION DOES THAT?!?! I was surprised but despite this one of the workers was a lovely lady who paid with her Apple Pay and I gave her cash instead. I was very thankful for her and got an amazing coffee with an amazing mood. BUT TODAY, I was very upset as I spent MY WORK TIME, MY GAS, to visit this location to enjoy another coffee but no one was nice enough to have the courtesy of helping and we give them cash instead. When I like a location I rave about them to everyone, but this time I will be recommending my connections to look elsewhere for their coffee. This is truly unbelievable as they should be understanding. The owner said "I don't have cash", but that is not the issue, like the first time I visited, the worker told me if you have exact change I can pay for you instead, which I did (and I even gave a $3 tip out of respect and she gave that to the business. I'm just saying that if she was willing and caring enough to do it, I'm sure other people can do the same as well. This is truly sad and very upsetting. read more

Voted best coffee shop Alfred coffee delivers in spades. Stumptown coffee is the best cofee imo and the choice of Alfred. The Ambience is really cool and always changing. The service is fast and always on point. Always a great crowd of people and a nice place to hang for a bit. Their specialty drinks and matcha are the best in the business. I travel from Encino to Sherman oaks just to go to Alfred's on weekends when I have the time. Hope they open in Encino soon. read more

I'm overly concerned with this location and not producing drinks on a 7.25 price tag. I've ordered the world famous iced vanilla latte twice now in last few weeks and it's been made incorrectly both times. One time I had it for myself and then the 2nd time I got it for my wife. Without mentioning my previous experience, she said how undrinkable it was. I think the baristas need to be retrained because something is wrong at this location. There are many other choices in the area and when it's at this price point, you expect better. Hope they improve on it and I will go back to see if they have done better. read more

First time here. The OG iced vanilla latte with sugar free syrup was so good! Also, we had the iced matcha latte with vanilla and a new nitro Thai milk tea - both very good. The flavor was excellent. Bought some sugar free vanilla syrup for home and loved the fact you can see the vanilla bean at the bottom of the bottle. The only downside was the service was completely unfriendly. The guy working the counter was pretentious and board line rude. We asked questions since it was our first time. It would likely stop me from coming back in the future. No amount of good drinks is worth crappy service. Giving the drinks 4 stars and service 2 stars so averaging to 3 stars. read more

Tried this place for the first time , I am usually a Phil's coffees person. The staff was sweet and pleasant. I got their "worlds best latte " and was honestly very disappointed. It was an entire cup of milk with half a shot of espresso with vanilla sweetener. Even when I looked at it was thought woah it doesn't even look like coffees in there it's so white. When I tried it , It tasted awful like a cup of sweet milk... definitely not worlds best. I was on my way to work so couldn't even go back. Honestly maybe it's just me but when I want coffee I want coffee not all milk with a tiny bit of coffee.. I also got my co worker one and they said the same thing, " you paid $8 for warm milk?" I'm a big coffee fiend and love coffee. This place looked amazing from the outside the inside very modern and was, Ok by the looks this will be a HIT!! After my 3rd visit I have to say I was completely unimpressed! First latte was missing espresso, felt like I was drinking water with a little subtle coffee taste. Came again ordered with 3 espresso shots and still tasted watered down..Came AGAIN with 4 espresso shots and it still tasted watered down.
