I love the ambience of this coffee shop! Service was fairly quick and they recommended drinks for me. It's a small interior but a perfect stop before starting your day. I found metered street parking and didn't take too long so it wasn't too bad. I had the pistachio latte and it was pretty good, just be sure to mix the drink to get the perfect balance! Would love to try their açaí bowl next!

After searching for new coffee shops I came across Hideout Coffee. We went on a Saturday and there was metered parking available a block or two away. After a short walk we came across the storefront which is a bit small but is very cute. Inside is minimal seating and a 3 panel menu of drinks and Açaí. We ordered the Pistachio latte and the Blueberry latte. The pistachio was lightly flavored in the background of the coffee and the blueberry came with a sort of blueberry purée coating the bottom of the coffee. Definitely worth revisiting to try additional items!

Really wanted to try this place out for a bit. I ordered 2 things from the menu. I ordered the blueberry matcha with oat milk and Avo's way toast. Blueberry Matcha: It was decent, the ratio between matcha and milk wasn't the best, it tasted more like blueberry milk. Just wasn't enough matcha for me. The drink does look pretty though. Avo's Way Signature Toast: my only concern here was they ran out of feta cheese because it would have made this toast better with that creamy element and made it look stunning. Overall, the avocado toast was actually tasty and delivered in flavor. For $9, I'll say it's worth the price if everything was included. Parking: There's street parking in the front and also parking in the back.

We stopped by here just because we happened to see their selection. And I felt like the first few negative reviews from others were a little unnecessary. It seems like it used to be an Açaí place but they changed to a recently new coffee spot! I was worried they were gonna go over the top with all their coffee to overcompensate but their drinks were all really good! We had their blueberry coffee latte (not on menu but requested it) and their blueberry matcha and both were solid! Service is friendly and very helpful! Studio city isn't the most common place we go to but this is definitely a good place to try and stop by!

A really nice coffee shop to stop by if you are ever in the city shopping. hideout coffee has lots of varieties to chose from on their menu, such as matcha lattes, coffees, açaí bowls & smoothies. i have seen hideout coffee a few times on my tiktok fyp & heard what really good matcha they have. one of their popular matchas is the blueberry matcha latte. when i walked in i was immediately greeted & got my order taken right away. the ladies were very nice. as i was waiting for my drink i noticed they have a outdoor coffee bar which is super cool! the wait for my matcha drink wasn't long at all. once i received my drink, it visually looked soo good!! my order was the blueberry matcha latte w/ vanilla cold foam. i liked the drink however i wish it tasted more matcha, love the color though. the blueberry is such yummy concept & it did taste good but i felt like it was too much milk that I didn't get enough of that matcha taste. their vanilla cold foam on the other hand is sooo gooooood. blueberry rate : 8 / 10. i do want to come back & try their açaí bowls, looked delicious!

Friendly service and cute ambiance. Would be a great spot to hang out with friends or get some work done during the daytime. I got the pistachio latte (25% sweet) after the barista recommended it and it was pretty good!! I liked the flavor and the pistachio crumbles. I would come by again if I was in the area :)

Tried the matcha latte and iced Americano. Both were average -- nothing great, nothing bad. True to the name, everything is made in the back, so you can't see the setup or how anything's prepared, which makes it hard to know what they're using or how fresh things are. Parking can be tough, but there's metered street parking nearby.

I was welcomed into this cute little shop with a buy one get one free coupon. I ordered an iced blueberry matcha latte and my friend also ordered one with a double shot of matcha. They were also very accommodating and made a double shot of espresso to add into one of the lattes. Their matcha was smooth and I loved the slightly chunky blueberries that swirled around the drink. This place also doubles as an açaí bar. I really enjoyed my Berry Me açaí bowl which was piled high with fresh fruits. The interior has a clean, tropical aesthetic with leafy wallpapers and a neatly decorated shelf. There weren't many people there so the vibe was very calm. The staff was extremely attentive, kind, and accommodating. The blueberry matcha latte and the warm, welcoming energy of the staff is definitely the reason I will be coming back more often!

I ordered the lavender latte which was so good!!! William made it so perfectly and was so nice and attentive! The vibes and music were great I will be back soon!

Decided to check this place out after eyeing it on yelp for a couple of days and I'm glad I did! The Acai purée had a perfect consistency, the strawberries and banana tasted fresh and the granola/cacao nibs paired well with the Nutella. A sweet treat for sure! And since I love matcha I decided to try out their blueberry matcha latte and tbh it was surprising for what I expected. For 12oz the matcha was able to push through the oat milk enough for me to taste an earthy and slightly nutty profile with the blueberry aspect maybe giving a whisper of blueberries lol! There was a definite powdery mouthfeel which wasn't pleasant so the powder needs to be sifted or it could be batch made and in need to a cold shock and additional whisking. A little more ice and less milk might make it a considerable matcha latte for that decent price point. Overall the Acai carried and I'll be back for sure to grab a bowl and try another drink! The gentleman working was very friendly so the customer service seems to be on point. The overall space is pretty small so maybe 10 people could sit. Lastly the aesthetic they were going for with the interior design is appreciated with a green focus and earth tones mixing well with the cream accent wall.

Not a bad spot for coffee and açaí bowls. Very clean inside been here twice and will be going back since it is pretty close to my office.

They use Onyx (from what i noticed), and the sound of the milk being steamed sounded silky (-: ! The layout of the cafe is nice: entry/line formation moves in a counter clockwise motion. Allows customers to enter space and wait in line while leaving space for people to exit/ wait to pick up their drink. First come, first serve for pastries - expect this for freshness purposes. Drink and their components are measured for consistency and quality control. Wait is subjective in relation to volume at the time which you go. Came in at about 1:30 PM on a Sunday (today was 8/16). Curated menu for their specialty drinks that aligns with their identity. Standard menu for espresso based beverages. Great selection for their Single Origin menu. Roasters they use align with those they highlight on their shelves for retail as a multi-roaster cafe. Ordered a Columbia from Hydrangea - enjoyed thoroughly! When it was still quite hot you get the heavy aroma and flavor of the pastry notes in the coffee. Then more tea-like once it cools down more. Coldbrew in the Woodman did not feel like your typical bold-in-flavor base. Which I think works for the inclusions in the beverage. Not your typical/second wave coffee shop. It's cool to see shops want to bridge that gap between fun drinks and specialty coffee! Kudos to Lynx!

It was 7:58 a.m., and I stopped in to grab my usual coffee before my appointment next door. I accidentally left my wallet at home, my Apple Pay wasn't working, and the only cash I had was a $100 bill. My total was only $8.50. I even offered a simple solution--I asked if another employee could pay for my coffee and I would immediately Zelle them the money. All three employees told me that was "beyond their job duties" and refused to help. Instead, they pointed to the sign stating they don't accept $100 bills and had me leave without making any effort to accommodate a regular customer. The disappointing part isn't that they couldn't break a $100 bill--it's that no one showed even the slightest willingness to help find a solution. I come here almost every Friday because I have appointments at the salon next door, and after this experience, I'll be taking my business elsewhere. A little kindness and customer service go a long way. Unfortunately, I found neither here.

And ONLY Rap. It was so annoying. I guess this is what the new generation loves. Walked in yesterday at 2:15pm, and got a very nice, pleasant, warm welcome from Michael and Joey. Both great and happy kids. Michael took my order and was pretty knowledgeable with the menu. I ordered the Crema Burrito that came with: Tator Tots, Scrambled eggs, Avocado, and Jalapeño. They had 2 of the same Burrito. One with Bacon, and the other one w/out ($15.56). Portion of the Burrito was very small for the price, and was lukewarm. Food overall along with beverages were expensive! I also got a single butter Croissant and asked him to warm it up. The Croissant was nicely warm, flaky, buttery and very good! ($6.23). The Baked Goods case was practically empty. Wanted a Blueberry Muffin, and they were out. Last but not least, got their 16oz. Coconut Cloud Matcha ($9.34). Matcha was made perfectly. I still had to water it down a little. The flavor hit the mark though. Trying to get more familiar with different types of Matchas. The Coffee Shop was clean and very quaint. Also, comfortable seating with round, brown cushions. When you walk in, it's hard to miss the nice motorcycle right in the middle of the shop. I wanted to know what did that represent? Michael said that the owners wife bought that for her husband. Where can I get one? The husband, not the motorcycle.:-) They have no parking, only street and metered. Nice outdoor seating all around.
