I accidentally left my wallet at home, my Apple Pay wasn't working, and the only cash I had was a $100 bill. My total was only $8.50. I even offered a simple solution--I asked if another employee could pay for my coffee and I would immediately Zelle them the money. All three employees told me that was "beyond their job duties" and refused to help. Instead, they pointed to the sign stating they don't accept $100 bills and had me leave without making any effort to accommodate a regular customer. The disappointing part isn't that they couldn't break a $100 bill--it's that no one showed even the slightest willingness to help find a solution. I come here almost every Friday because I have appointments at the salon next door, and after this experience, I'll be taking my business elsewhere. A little kindness and customer service go a long way. Unfortunately, I found neither here.

It is definitely on the sweeter side, which is exactly how I like my coffee, but they have no problem modifying the sweetness if you prefer it less sweet. The horchata flavor is actually distinct and tastes SO good with the coffee. It doesn't just get lost in the espresso. The shop itself is also really cute, with a modern Latino flair that gives it a great atmosphere. And of course, I love supporting Latino-owned businesses!
