IG story throwback from 2019 to prove I'm a #realone (iced white coconut tea, add vanilla or honey if you want it sweet- SOOOO GOOD!!!)

Probably my favorite place ever lol, Alfred Coffee Studio City & I have lore!!! Been coming here consistently since 2019 and super mega consistently (like at least 4x a week lol) since 2024, I love the cute little vibes of this place, location is peak!! Peaceful but lively/the patio is great for peoplewatching and letting inspiration hit you!! The coffee is yummy (duh) but beyond that the staff is so lovely, everyone who works here is so sweet and goes above and beyond (I would shout everyone out individually but there's literally just too many awesome people), always asking how my day's going and if I have anything fun coming up :) This place was the first coffee shop where the baristas learned my name and therefore I would simply lay down my life for them. The manager, Armanda, runs this place like the Navy, making sure the good vibes are paired with excellent service & quick wait times for your latte. I could probably write a book with all the good things I have to say about this place (I already literallyyyy wrote my first self-published book sitting outside here lol) tldr; I love u Alfred Coffee Studio City!!!!!

I love Alfred's! It was a first at this location , I had a conference near by and was excited to start my morning with their cloud espresso and bagel bites ! I came early , around 6:50 am and street meters parking is free until 8 am I believe . I did an online order because I know how busy it can get . I arrived and found my order to be ready which I was happy with. Cloud espresso 10/10, and bagel bites 10/10b! I would advise ,this location is small, in LA near Hollywood so please keep in mind parking during weekends or peak times .

We wanted to get coffee before going to Universal Studios and this is the perfect place to snag caffeine and a quick bite to eat before going! I love the vibes of this place and how dog friendly it is. The service was also very kind and patient despite visiting during the busy hours. I was a little worried about ordering the best vanilla latte from their menu, but I'm so glad I did who would've thought the vanilla flavor would be enhanced and somehow taste of higher quality? I don't know if I can ever have a normal vanilla latte again after visiting. We also shared the breakfast burrito which tasted super fresh and tasty. Great place!

Oh boy, I was really looking forward to trying this spot!! I know it's a pretty popular chain and there's quite a few of them that I've seen. We finally decided to drop by before our day trip to Universal Studios. First of all, parking is a nightmare and we happened to choose to come on a very busy day? Everyone stack parked on the street with their "park anywhere lights" on lol. It was obnoxious and hard to get around in this tiny street. There was a line out the door for the pizza place a few doors down, assuming everyone who parked here were for whatever they were having. We looped around and found a spot at the very end and just walked, no big deal. There was a bit of a line in this tiny coffee shop, love the beautiful aesthetic and decor. Ordered the drinks which came out pretty quickly. I obviously had to try their "World Famouse Vanilla Latte" iced and my bf got their "Oatnog Latte" iced. We both tried ours and each others and were not crazy about them. Tasted kind of watered down? Not enough creamer or sweetness? The flavor in the oatnog itself was a bit odd and couldn't pinpoint what it was exactly. We didn't finish our drinks but I need my coffee every morning and this kind of did the job. However... Not worth the parking or hassle, sadly. IG: @ammysalamii

I love going to Alfred's every now and then to enjoy a really nice latte that's somewhat basic but it satisfies the iced latte/einspanner craving. Every Alfred's Coffee location has the winter-like ski lot vibe with wooden seating areas and somewhat rustic and woodsy decor. Service is always friendly but it gets very crowded often, so go during non-peak hours or not when you're in a massive rush. While Alfred's isn't THE place for the best matcha in the city, you can't go wrong with their coffee! I love a decaf latte there but they also have amazing chagaccinos, iced vanilla lattes, and protein-rich drinks as well. What brings the review down a couple notches: - Price-wise: yes, a little more on the expensive side depending on what you consider high vs. low (though other places charge as much as $8 to start!) - Parking is also not the best--ideally, you'd find street parking - Not super ideal to work and study here as it's cramped and the outdoor patio is in a loud area

Came on a saturday night..look for street parking they have no parking lot Kept it simple and yet was disappointed ordered a small americano and their famous iced vanilla latte americano was watered down and no flavor of coffee for thr iced vanilla latte. The inside smelled of wet mop which was a red flag and the staff was not very friendly or attentive

Called ahead for my iced vanilla latte, swung through, super tiny spot with street parking only but easy in-and-out. Picked up my drink right off the shelf ... yeah it's a little pricey, but once you stir that thing up? Man... flavors go crazy. Smooth, unique, low-key addicting. Hit the spot perfectly.

Famous Alfred Vanilla Latte, so good.

Love Alfred Coffee and this particular location on Ventura Place at Studio City. Great customer service and hardly any wait time. You can order online for pick up. Parking is easy, as you can just park across the street. My favorite is the World Famous Vanilla Latte both hot and iced along with the O.G. Chagaccino hot and Mocha Latte hot. They are not too sweet and the perfect combination of espresso, coffee, vanilla, mocha and mushrooms. Looking forward to stopping by tomorrow morning to pick up our favorite coffee.

I ordered The world famous Vanilla iced latte. It was great. I really liked the taste, it was different than the similar drinks I order at other coffee shops. It became my to go order when visiting Alfred Coffee. For service, I was greeted as I walked in. There wasn't any line or people waiting for drinks. So I got my order faster than I expected. For ambiance, this is a little coffee shop with no seats inside. There is plenty of seating area outside which when I visited weather was nice. I got to enjoy the nice weather and my tasty coffee. For parking, this location is street parking only. I noticed in front of the store there weren't that many empty spots, but across the street were plenty. It's metered parking so make sure to have change or download the app to save time.

Nice little coffee spot. All seating is outside and it only street parking. The meters are quarters only or through an app. Wish I had quarters cause there are a lot of steps to pay through the app lol. You could see the staff working hard as soon as you enter. I ordered the world famous vanilla latte hot. Little bit of a line but the wait time wasn't bad. The drink was delicious! I tried it iced but its also really good hot. Right amount of sweetness with the coffee flavor still standing out. I like it! Thank you!

Had a lovely experience here yesterday grabbing some matcha! I ordered the iced matcha latte through the app and they made it very quickly with the customizations I added, which were lavender and pumpkin spice syrup and macadamia milk. When I came in, I wasn't sure where the drink was, but the employees were both very friendly and directed me to the shelf where it was. The matcha was delicious and the macadamia milk is so luscious and creamy. It worked perfectly! I also like how their iced drinks don't get too watered down! I really loved the flavors coming from the syrups and was surprised how well pumpkin spice and lavender really work together! It wasn't overly sweet too but just sweet enough to balance out the bitterness of the matcha. There was ample outdoor seating by the street and while it was covered, it was still very bright and sunny. It was relaxing to sit there and very clean and well maintained, just like the inside. Parking was easy in the neighborhood, with plenty of street parking a couple of blocks away.

Look at the almond milk chucks on the bottom of this iced americano.

Maybe it was an off day but my coffee was awful. I've never had any issues at the Pasadena location and when I saw this location while eating out decided to stop in for a midday pick me up. I ordered an iced americano with almond milk. A pretty simple drink. But it was awful. I could literally see the chunks of milk floating around. (Look at the photo I uploaded) Even the color was off ....it was severely watered down. I'm not one to say anything but I couldn't drink it. I went and asked if they could remake it and the girl gave me such attitude. She made me an iced latte instead and while it was fine. It wasn't my original order. Left with a sour taste in my mouth... literally and figuratively I think I'll stick to the other locations where the baristas know what they're doing.

    My drink! Whole milk, Gibraltar

I love Alfreds! I am a regular customer coming almost every morning for the last four years. They know my drink, they turn around the drinks really quickly, and the staff are really friendly. It's my favorite way to start the morning! I've also been to many Alfreds locations, including the Ventura Boulevard, the Encino, the airport, the Palisades, the Melrose and the Beverly Hills locations--But this location is my favorite! Honestly, because of the staff. Thank you for being my go to coffee spot!

Ask the Community - Alfred Coffee

    Does this location take cash?

    No they're cashless,

    Do they have outlets?

I doubt it - but maybe. There are only a couple patio tables to sit - it's not really a space conducive to getting work done.

Which of the plant based milks are unsweetened?

We use Califia brand barista Almond and Oat milk in all of our cafes. The Almond milk has 5g of added cane sugar. The oat milk however doesn't have any added sugars, just 3g that are created during the process of making the oat milk.

What time do they open because on Yelp it says 6am but the app won't let me order until 7am?

Hi! Our hours of operation have changed a couple of times since March when COVID hit and we are grateful for everyone's understanding! Currently and indefinitely, our hours of operation are 7am-5pm. We have updated our profile to reflect this. You…

They use Onyx (from what i noticed), and the sound of the milk being steamed sounded silky (-: ! The layout of the cafe is nice: entry/line formation moves in a counter clockwise motion. Allows customers to enter space and wait in line while leaving space for people to exit/ wait to pick up their drink. First come, first serve for pastries - expect this for freshness purposes. Drink and their components are measured for consistency and quality control. Wait is subjective in relation to volume at the time which you go. Came in at about 1:30 PM on a Sunday (today was 8/16). Curated menu for their specialty drinks that aligns with their identity. Standard menu for espresso based beverages. Great selection for their Single Origin menu. Roasters they use align with those they highlight on their shelves for retail as a multi-roaster cafe. Ordered a Columbia from Hydrangea - enjoyed thoroughly! When it was still quite hot you get the heavy aroma and flavor of the pastry notes in the coffee. Then more tea-like once it cools down more. Coldbrew in the Woodman did not feel like your typical bold-in-flavor base. Which I think works for the inclusions in the beverage. Not your typical/second wave coffee shop. It's cool to see shops want to bridge that gap between fun drinks and specialty coffee! Kudos to Lynx!

It was 7:58 a.m., and I stopped in to grab my usual coffee before my appointment next door. I accidentally left my wallet at home, my Apple Pay wasn't working, and the only cash I had was a $100 bill. My total was only $8.50. I even offered a simple solution--I asked if another employee could pay for my coffee and I would immediately Zelle them the money. All three employees told me that was "beyond their job duties" and refused to help. Instead, they pointed to the sign stating they don't accept $100 bills and had me leave without making any effort to accommodate a regular customer. The disappointing part isn't that they couldn't break a $100 bill--it's that no one showed even the slightest willingness to help find a solution. I come here almost every Friday because I have appointments at the salon next door, and after this experience, I'll be taking my business elsewhere. A little kindness and customer service go a long way. Unfortunately, I found neither here.

Both great and happy kids. Michael took my order and was pretty knowledgeable with the menu. I ordered the Crema Burrito that came with: Tator Tots, Scrambled eggs, Avocado, and Jalapeño. They had 2 of the same Burrito. One with Bacon, and the other one w/out ($15.56). Portion of the Burrito was very small for the price, and was lukewarm. I still had to water it down a little. The flavor hit the mark though. Trying to get more familiar with different types of Matchas. The Coffee Shop was clean and very quaint. Also, comfortable seating with round, brown cushions. When you walk in, it's hard to miss the nice motorcycle right in the middle of the shop. I wanted to know what did that represent?
