First off, I forgot to take photos. This is a new favorite! We ate here for the first time today. LOVED the decor! The fact that they have lights set up to dim and then go bright periodically is such an awesome feature. Service was fantastic! The food though.... Omg, it was so damn good! The burgers are seasoned perfectly, the fries and onion rings were seasoned and cooked nicely. Something about their fry sauce really wowed me! It was so good I could have drank it! My 13 year old who hates ANY kind of sauce even gave it a try and then proceeded to eat her fries with it. Everything was great and we will definitely be back! If I had one minor complaint, it would be the buns. I would like to see them use buns from Salt City Baking company or something else because the only thing I didn't love, was the bun. I love the take on the name of this burger joint! From the moment you walk up to the door, to when you walk in, the wall decor, and overall ambiance. This is a really creative place! I ordered the mushroom burger and Dracula's casserole (Mac & cheese with candied bacon sriracha). When they brought it the casserole, I thought, "what is on the Mac and cheese?" First of all, the m&c is CREAMY. Then when you add candied bacon with a hint of sriracha....holy pork product!!! I've had two bad burgers in two days. The first burger I had this week was an overpriced greasy mushroom burger and yesterday I had a bland bloody burger. Today, I finally went into mushroom burger heaven! Avoid if you don't eat gluten: their burger mix "contains bread." Aside from that, they have a great variety of creative burgers including a vegan & vegetarian option. The food is good and they have great fry sauce. The decor is fun and different. All the booth seats are damaged and patched with duct tape. read more

If you're a horror movie fan, this place is for you! The entire space is decorated with posters from horror classics and the entire menu is named after horror movies/halloween. I've been wanting to check this place out for a while now, and we stopped here on our way to a Grizzlies game. I'm not sure if it was because of the Grizzlies game or because it was Valentine's Day or if it's always this busy on a Saturday night, but this place was PACKED. You order at the counter and they bring the food to you. There are about 9 tables, but it's a super small and intimate place and every table was taken and there was a line to the door! The staff was super friendly, even while being completely in the weeds. The woman at the register taking orders was super nice and made sure she got all of our orders correctly. The food was good. I got the Creature from the Black Legume burger and fries and it was yummy. I really appreciated that they had a black bean burger on the menu, and not just an impossible burger (which they also had as an option). the fries were okay, they're thicker fries which don't get as crispy and I love a crispy fry. read more

My husband ordered the Double Creature Burger.the lettuce, tomatoes, and onions were super fresh. I had the Exorswiss with mushrooms, and the patty was perfectly cooked,Juicy and flavorful!!So good! My kids enjoyed the Chucky's Sliders. The ketchup was a bit sweet for our taste, and the mac and cheese was pretty basic. But the steak fries? Incredible! It's a cute little restaurant with a fun theme. The food is really good and service was fast. You could tell they cooked everything fresh. Staff was really friendly as well. I'm only giving 4 stars because we showed up at 11 when their website and the door said they open and stood outside until almost 11:30 when they finally opened up. Tried this place on Saturday with some friends based on one of their recommendations! It looks a little sketchy from the outside, very small shop on the inside and design went all out on the horror theme! Very unique place just for the atmosphere alone and I bet it'd be fun to go to during Halloween! Honestly the burgers are on the pricier side, the first thing I noticed when looking at the menu. They range about $14-18/burger, depending on what you order. The cinnamon sticks were $6.99, a little pricy but they were pretty dang good! They were soft, not too crispy or dry, very yummy! The food took a bit to come out, but not excessive time. Just know there'll be a decent wait. The burgers were pretty good overall! I'd say for the bacon one, the bacon and the bun were the best part. After being told these were the best burger you'll ever have, I think I was let down a little given I think it needed a sauce or something. I'd give it a 3.8/5. And then my friend ordered the pastramityville burger and it was about the same to me, however, he'd probably give it a higher rating it sounded like! Overall, the place is definitely worth a try! My family and I kinda stumbled on this place. We were looking for somewhere else to eat and couldn't find it. So we saw this on Yelp and came to check it out, only knowing that it was a burger place. Turns out it's a pretty cool horror themed burger places. Floor to ceiling it's covered in movie posters and other horror related items. And the menu is full of horror puns. At no moment did we feel it was too much for our 1 and 3 year old that were with us. Seating wise, when we first walked in, we were surprised to find that it was jam packed inside. The line was long and what little seating there was was completely full. We were concerned we would have to pack it all up in our car and eat. Fortunately, it seemed they filtered through people pretty quickly and we were able to sit. The food itself was good, though honestly it didn't blow me away by any means. The best part about the burgers, were the patties. They were quite thick and had plenty of flavor. I forget the name of it, but I got the burger with jalapeños and habanero aioli. I often time find when places have "spicy" things on their menu they aren't actually spicy. I'm happy to report that the spice was great on the burger. Definetly burned, but didn't take away from the rest of the burger. The couple employees we dealt with were also extremely friendly and helpful Ultimately though, I don't find the burgers alone to be good enough for this to become a "go to" place for me to eat. I took off a star because it took about 20 minutes for our two sandwiches to come out. The people who ordered before us ordered takeout, and they had to wait a similar amount of time before they could walk out with their food. We went around lunch time, so it wasn't too crowded, but with only 6 booths and 3 four-seat tables, it's pretty small. The buns were very pale, which was also interesting visually. Not sure if it's just the brand they use or if it's something else, but they tasted fine. My black bean patty fell apart and fell out of the bun, but it had a good amount of spice. The fries were pretty good too, and my friend enjoyed their chicken sandwich. Overall, I would come back here again, but I think service could be a tad bit faster. The burgers were SERIOUSLY DELICIOUS, and big. they had some amazing flavor, they were juicy and they come with a side of "stake fries." (Get it? Stake a vampire, not steak. Lol.) Movie posters galore, a hanging head above the cash register, they play Ozzy Osborne while you eat... it's awesome. If you like scary movies, this place is a definite must. The food was so good; burgers are pretty hefty and the meat is seasoned so it's just a bit nippy for spice but nothing intense. My wife is a huge horror film fan and so I've wanted to take her here for a while now. She loved the horror themed names and decor. She's crazy like that. I ordered the American Werewolf and Onions and added bacon. The burger came out and it was very clean, they put the onions under the cheese which held it all together. Very nice. At first I thought they had forgotten all the toppings. About halfway through I still hadn't found the bacon so I went and asked for it again. They cooked up some bacon $3 add and sent it out to me to put on the half I had left. Flavor was really good, the bun was well sized and fresh. A little dry, could have used some sauce. My wife ordered the Fowling. Chicken sandwich, Swiss, bacon, ranch, lettuce and tomato. Good crunchy fried chicken sandwich. Large portions very good flavor. Fries were steak fries with fry sauce, but not enough fry sauce. The service was a little slow with no one out front much of the time, we had to wait at the register a couple minutes before anyone came to take our order. This happened consistently throughout the night as others came in to order food. BTW: prices for burgers have gotten way out of hand. For two of us to order burger, fries and a drink was $40. But they aren't the only ones charging these prices. Just means going out less often and being more selective on where you go. read more

Traveling from Las Vegas, Nevada to Salt Lake City, for a tour of The University Of Utah, my wife challenged me to find us a place to have dinner. Usually I lean towards places "as seen on tv" but for once I didn't travel down that road. The road I went down had great hamburgers, great French fried. The ambiance was just what we expected. Monsters like Frankenstein to the left, Serial Killers like Hannibal Lector to the right. Tons of memories on the walls. Service at times seemed a little overwhelmed. When we entered only one other party was in the dinning room. The cashier/ hostess/ waitress at the front counter was taking an order on the phone. By the time we left, 11 out of 12 (?) tables in the dinning room were being used by patrons. It seems we were at the very start of the "dinner rush." Suggestions: Expand the dinning room if possible, tons of decorations is cool but could be spread out. Each table in the dining room should have a theme related to one movie. One time you could go and eat in the Dracula booth, next time the Jason Vorhees table, or even the Robot Monster table. Lastly, Hire someone to assist in the dining room at least. Bugertory has a fun idea, But it seams like things were just thrown on the walls and not planned out. But if you could care less about that, definitely go for the food!! read more

What a cool spot. It's tucked away in a small strip mall off Redwood Rd. The decor is horror movie posters with TVs showing more horror pics. It is not brightly lit space. But that goes with the theme. I had their version of a bacon cheeseburger. Right off the bat the patty must have been over a half pound. My coworker couldn't even finish his. Mine was cooked perfectly. Juicy, moist and flavorful. The bacon was thick cut and had the perfect amount of crisp. Overall a great burger. The fries were steak variety. I'm more a fan of the classic style. But these were not bad. Next time I'll try the onion rings. I'd also like to see some more drink options. Some unsweetened iced tea would be nice.
