I had four dresses that needed alterations for several upcoming weddings and initially sent Tina photos of all of them. Rather than accepting every project, she carefully evaluated each dress and agreed to work on only two. She explained that while the other two dresses could technically be altered, the fabric and fit would make it difficult to achieve a result that met her quality standards. I greatly appreciated her honesty and professionalism. Many businesses would have accepted all four dresses, but Tina was focused on delivering work she could confidently stand behind. Her transparency and commitment to quality immediately gave me confidence in her expertise. During my first visit to Tina, I brought both my dresses to try on to assess the alterations that I needed done (mostly hemming). She provided a quote at that time, and stated that payment could be made at pick-up. I found her pricing to be very reasonable given the complexity of the dresses (material and multiple layers). The two dresses she altered turned out beautifully. The craftsmanship was excellent, and the fit was exactly what I wanted. The turnaround time was about two weeks from drop-off to pickup, which I found very reasonable (especially since I had told Tina there was no rush). She clearly takes pride in her work and pays close attention to the details that make a difference. One thing to note is that English is her second language and Mandarin is her first, so there can be a bit of a language barrier. If you speak Mandarin, communication will likely be even smoother. That said, I found Tina to be thoughtful, professional, and genuinely committed to achieving the best possible result for her clients. I would definitely return for future alterations and would highly recommend Tina's Alterations to anyone looking for quality workmanship and honest, trustworthy service.

I handed over my dress shirt, a custom shirt that I was going to wear for my wedding, and they instantly recognized the situation I was in. They said they could have it ready for me in one day, charged me $10 and that was that. From reading around, this price is a little bit steep for some comparable services but is seemingly average for the core bay area. At that moment in time, cost was not an issue for me - it was speed. And they delivered! One Hour Dry Cleaning handed me back a shirt that was spotless and soft and perfectly clean in just about 12 hours. For me personally, $10 was a steal. The waist was way too tight, digging into my sides and making the whole line of the dress extremely unflattering. Tatiana was able to essentially remake my dress so that it fit my body and actually looked good! She moved the waistline to the correct spot for my natural waist (after two other tailors had told us this was impossible), and completely hid the attachment line. She reshaped the sweetheart neckline and figured out how to add the satin short sleeve I was wanting so that it looked like it was an original part of the dress! (the dress was originally strapless). She also applied all the lace detailing to the sleeve and through the bodice. This was an extremely complicated alteration and Tatiana truly saved the day - for a very reasonable price! She is a horrible pet owner for letting this dog run around loose (people drive like idiots in this center,, its going to get run over) but also to let it loose knowing its aggressive! Completely aware its attacking people and does not care. This dog needs to be taken from her care. She is extremely rude and inconsiderate.
