I brought my items in and paid $65 upfront, with a promise that they would call me after one week. Having a gut feeling they would forget, I waited over a week and went in myself. I was right--they never called. The shop was incredibly disorganized, and they had to dig my jacket out from a buried pile of clothes. To make matters worse, they completely ignored my request for a larger skirt zipper because they decided "there was nothing wrong with the old one," even though I paid for it. I came in to get basic measurements, nothing complicated. The measurements were for a lehenga and I showed the tailor a photo of what exactly needed to be measured (i.e. arm hole, shoulder full length, etc). As he's taking my measurements he's writing them down without specifically stating what measurement belongs to what which was totally confusing for me because he did not write the measurements in order! At this point it was a complete mess. He was a nice man, but I don't trust he took my measurements correctly. Not to mention, when I called he said it would cost $20 and suddenly when I get there he up-charged me $30. I ended up getting re-measured elsewhere to double check the measurements he gave me. And majority of what he measured was incorrect. Waste of time, waste of money. read more

Chic whole in the wall alteration spot and I think it has been the best I've ever experienced. I've gotten my suits and dress shirts altered by various tailors in the Bay Area. No one is attentive and chill like the tailors at Noori! The tailors give out his best advice on adjusting various areas on a suite and shirt. After my initial visit, I knew I can trust them with all my tailoring needs. All in all, one of the best 'bang for the bucks' tailoring shops I've been to. I brought my brand new linen pants in to be hemmed. He did a good job. $30. A bit pricey. However, when I got home there was what looked like a coffee stain just below my front pocket. I didn't have time to bring it back for a refund, since I'm traveling. Instead I rushed it to get dry cleaned and spent an extra $15. I will never use this tailor again. His store was a complete mess, and his desk was draped with clothes. He obviously doesn't take pride in keeping things pristine. Do yourself a favor and find another another tailor. read more

In the beginning, he'll show you gratitude and give you discount then after a while you'll notice his real attitude. You'll notice that he doesn't really care about your clothing. He would just throw it anywhere in the shop after working on it He wouldn't care if it gets damaged, scratch or stained by oil. And if you point out about an oil stains or small damage in your clothing, He wouldn't show customer service or empathy. Instead he will give you attitude and blame you for it, and not take responsibility! The tailor is horrible business person. He doesn't care about your clothes. He only care about his profit $$$ And when something goes wrong on his work, he wouldn't take accountability and will give attitude. It is such a relief to have a great tailor with so many decades of experience. So many are retiring and very few people are getting into the industry. I've never been to a tailor before Noori. Prior to finding Noori, I didn't have it in me to get rid of some of my old favorite pants and jackets that had accrued many a hole in them. Noori was absolutely fantastic to work with and made my boxy, boring uniforms look like they were custom made for me He is reasonably priced, fast, and just a pleasure to work with. Noori is the man! I had a suit that was too large and needed alterations. Having heard good things about this place, I decided to try it out. My experience was fantastic from start to finish. Noori was very kind and helpful throughout the entire fitting process. He is an expert tailor who really knows his stuff. The originally baggy suit jacket and trousers were altered perfectly to a slim fit. I needed it within a two week timeframe and it was done in five days. Price was reasonable, just remember it is cash only. The place actually shares a space with the shoe/leather repair shop located on the outside of the shopping center. Stumbled upon noori's shop many years back by accident after looking for a tailor to alter a suit I had purchased at Burlington coat factory in westlake. Back then he was conveniently located within Burlington and did any alteration job from big to small. He took his measurements for the suit I purchased , provided some good feedback on fit and what he would be altering on both the coat and pants. To much surprise prices were very reasonable and lower than what you'd pay at your name brand shops like men's warehouse and Nordstrom. Was very happy with the end result and decided then that we would always go to noori for any alteration needs. After Burlington closed , we sadly lost contact with noori thinking that we'd have to find another alteration shop. After doing some research we realized noori opened shop around the corner from the now closed Burlington near Ross sharing a spot within a leather repair shop. We visited noori recently to have several items altered with quick turn on a couple items. just like our past visits the prices have stayed very reasonable and we were extremely happy with the end result. I came here to get my prom dressed hemmed because it was too long on me. The store is located on the left of Burlington when you walk in, near the men's clothing section. Noori and his wife were extremely welcoming and friendly! He asked about what the problem was and took his time to explain what he would do with my dress.
