I ordered the Chicken Kabob Plate (Tawook). This is the best chicken kebab I've ever had. Not even kidding the food is incredible. If you want Mediterranean I highly recommend you order from here!

I checked this place out with my best friend yesterday and we were both pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. The establishment is next to a gas station and, from what I understood, only does to-go orders. The gentleman who helped me mentioned he also does catering events. I bought the jumbo chicken schwarma wrap and my friend got the chicken schwarma plate. Food portions are big and definitely surprising given the reasonable prices. The gentleman who took my order was polite and friendly. He gave me two free small pieces of baklava to try.

I've been to a different Mediterranean restaurant in Pomona where the prices are much more expensive so it's nice to know of a different location I can go to when I'm craving Mediterranean food with a less expensive price point.

We always get the filet skewers, extra hummus and pita, and now My bf loves the beef shawarma. I consider myself picky especially when it comes to some foods and this is one of the only places that I will get my Food from, fantastic!!

Such a good deal! We got the mixed grill, and for about $50 you get a pretty substantial meal that could likely feed 4-5 people for dinner. If getting takeout, as we did, they package it well and it's just about ready to put on the table and dig in! As for the food - I really have no complaints. The meats were juicy, the rice was suuuuper flavorful.. and they provided plenty of garlic spread which I love! If you are looking for Mediterranean food in the area look no further :)

After reading all the 5 star reviews on this place, I was super excited to visit this place for the first time. Food was decent, unfortunately the service was a big let down. I arrived for lunch shortly after 1:00 pm and it didn't seem like anyone was working there. My kids and I were standing by the door which seemed like for 5 min. I saw a man walk to the back and he although he saw me and my family, he didn't even acknowledge me until I went to him and asked him if the restaurant was open. I saw there was a family eating inside, so this place doesn't follow covid protocols. The man told me we could sit anywhere, so I said we would eat on the patio. He handed me menus, walked away, and left me with the pleasure to move the tables together myself. After about 15 min, he came back to take our orders and I ordered a bunch of things to try: *Spicy Potato (good, not too spicy...spiciness level is 3/5) *Falafel (really tasty, but found a chunk of aluminum foil/metal in my mouth from eating this. Manager comped this dish and gave us dessert) *Spinach Fatayer (tasty) *Cheese Burke (kids loved this) *Mixed Grill (includes Shish Kabob (meh), Kafta Kabob (good), chicken kabob (tender and tasty)) *Chicken Shawarma Gyro (we all sampled this and we all liked it) I had to ask for the pita and garlic sauce as the server didn't automatically bring it out. I did appreciate that they gave us individually wrapped disposable utensils and bottled water (after waiting about 10-15 min). The food didn't take too long once we placed our order. I also ordered kafta kabob and chicken shawarma plates to go so my husband could try it too for dinner. It took forever for us to get our check. Then I showed him my 20% coupon for Yelp check-in, but then that took forever because the server didn't know how to calculate the discount, so I had to show him how to subtract 20% off the bill. This lunch took us about 2 hours... most of those 2 hours was waiting around for the server. We left around 3:00. Thank goodness I didn't have anything else to do today! Not sure why everything took so long as there were only us and 1 other family there, and 2 guys with hookahs. Food is good, glad I tried it, but unless I feel like moving my own tables and have the time to wait forever for everything, I don't think I'll be back.

Rarely do I enjoy a meal at a restaurant so much that I end up ordering it again the next day. This is one of those restaurants! I ordered takeout using Yelp's GrubHub interface - we got 2 Chicken Shawarma Plates. The order was ready when I arrived and the pick up was easy. When I arrived, the restaurant had several orders that nobody picked up, so I was offered an extra Kafta Kabob plate! What a treat. The food was sooo good. Chicken Shawarma was wonderfully seasoned, rice was so good, and I especially liked the grilled peppers - everything went well with the toum sauce, of course. The hummus was some of the best hummus I've ever had. The Kafta was also very flavorful and it was so nice to get an extra meal. I was really impressed by the overall quality and service. The next night we ordered the lamb shank. It smelled so good, we started eating it immediately and forgot to take a photo of it. After the meal, I received a very kind phone call from the restaurant thanking us for coming back a second time in 2 days. He remembered me! But genuinely, a GREAT Lebanese place, and right in Pomona. Highly recommend! And If you can, call them to place the order so they don't get charged a huge fee with the online ordering services.

First of all, this place has great customer service, as other reviews have said. They are very polite and helpful on the phone. They were willing to take my restaurant.com certificate, even though it is usually for dine-in only (but these are covid times we're living in) PLUS apply a Happy Hour deal. Everything was delicious! We had the lamb shawarma and the chicken shawarma plates, which came with pita bread, hummus, rice, and a small salad. Very filling! We had to save our baba ganouj for the next day. It was our first time trying that, and we really enjoyed the unique smoky flavor of the dish.

LOCATION : There's a huge parking lot for the plaza. This place is one of the fewer places open late. FOOD : We got the Lamb Kebob and Chicken Shawarma plates. Honestly it was all super delicious. I've had stale, hard to chew meat at other places but this was the opposite - the kebob is huge and chicken tasted fresh and aromatic. The quality is great so it's a fair $$ place. Surprisingly the weakest link was the bread and unsurprisingly the baklava was delicious. AMBIANCE : This place is spacious and definitely a chill vibe. We ordered take out but I'd imagine it'd be a great place to relax and hang out there as other people were doing. SERVICE : As others have mentioned the service stands out and makes this place unique. The workers are friendly and straight up if you have an issue they're happy to handle it. It's a great restaurant by itself but with the customer service it goes over the top as it's always an enjoyable experience coming.

I ordered beef shawarma, chicken shawarma and batata harra to be delivered to our house. Everything was delicious, our dog loved both the beef and chicken meat. My sis said she could eat the rice on its own, and the batata harra was my favorite. I even used the extra sauce to put on the beef shawarma and I was in heaven. We have enough leftover to eat for tomorrow's lunch. I would definitely order from this place again, I'm curious on trying the lamb kabobs. read more

Ali Baba has excellent Mediterranean food!!! I ordered the chicken kabob plate " Tawook" and it came with big delicious chucks of chicken, rice , hummus and salad. I must say I was impressed by how flavorful the food was. I was looking for late night food and since I did not want fast food I decided to look up yelp and found this gem!! I highly recommend Ali Baba if you want good authentic Mediterranean food. I also ordered hummus and grape leaves and boy was the grape leaves good!! The hummus too was also delicious!!! DELICIOUS! Decided to try this place for the first time this past weekend and my husband and I ended up eating here again today! Alex, the owner, has been very pleasant and friendly. I ordered here many times for delivery and pick up. It is always served and packed fresh. I like that they would always add extra of each order like the kebe 4 pcs./order but they would add 1 more and also the grape leave(waraga enab). Their kebab combo is delicious also their shawarma is fantastic! Always have extra sides! I have been to some parts of the middle east and I can say they serve authentic middle eastern cuisine. I am happy that it's just nearby. Their staff are friendly and their meals are affordable. I would love to go during brunch buffet but with this pandemic that is still impossible. I am glad they are still open. Kudos to the good service they do! read more

Family Friendly! Good for groups. Went for the hookah. Flavors were good. Owner shared that the business is currently running on a skeleton crew (he is the waiter, cook, closer, manager, etc), but they compensated for quality service and conversation when they could attend to us. Overall, we enjoyed our experience and would recommend for hookah. read more

So happy to have a Mediterranean restaurant that is tasty and affordable so close to home. We ordered the mixed grill just to get a taste of the popular meats. The owner gave us ALOT! It's more than enough to feed our family of 4. My 3 and 7 year old girls approve! They said that they didn't like it, but they "LOVED IT". This is a great sign since they can be picky sometimes. We all love the rice! It was so flavorful and not dry like other places. The meats were also seasoned very well. We will definitely come back! read more

This is my first time coming here, and I absolutely love it! We were driving through Pomona after a hike going back home to Temecula, and we happened upon this place. Lebanese food is on the top of my list, and this place did not disappoint at all. The hummus, kebabs, and Shawarma were incredible. I passed through one evening to get to the hooka bar and I just had to come back and try the food. My wife had the chicken kabobs and I had the meat kabobs so we can try both out and let me tell you... The flavor on both are completely different and very tasteful. Chicken is smokey and very flavorful; the beef is juicy and well marinaded. Both meats were very well cooked and they both came in a bed of rice.
