I brought in my blanket specifically to have a brown stain removed, and not only did they fail to remove it, but it actually came back looking worse with the same stains still there and the fabric looking rougher. To make it even worse, they charged me $50 for this. When you pay that much for "professional cleaning," you expect results, not excuses. Upon voicing my complaints ownership took ZERO responsibility. I even showed him another shirt I was picking up, (identical to shrunken shirt), and showed him it still fit. I had zippers that needed to be replaced on my work pants, and the seamstress did a terrible job. Not only was the customer service poor, but they didn't trim the zipper on either pair, and messed up the stitching on the inside. I regret paying $25 per each pair. BEWARE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE !! I walked into the cleaners and asked if they did alterations. They said yes I said what do you charge for just a straight hem they said $12. 00 so I brought in three pairs of pants, and the lady pinned them up to be hemmed. The young kid at the counter, who had a major attitude charged me $58 and I questioned him on it and I said that's not $12 each so he went on to say well they're like bell bottom pants it's a double stitched hem and he went on and on and I said I'm not paying for that and I would like my credit card refunded. With that being said, I really have nothing to compare Aliante Cleaners to. So, here's my attempt at a review: Aliante Cleaners is located in a Smiths Shopping Center. I went with this business simply because it was close to home. One of my jackets needed a button sewed on and a wrist strap thingy sewed on as well. I mean, I could've sewed it myself but ain't nobody got time for that! Total came to $6. The turn around was 3 days. Customer service is average, but the business looks new and clean. I have bought a blanket back in November and decided to take it to the dry cleaner to have it washed since it does not fit in my normal size washer. The blanket was a fur king size, upon picking it up I brought it home and noticed the fur was ruined it multiple places. Once I arrived the owner quick to blame it on me at first the lady said they air dry it then he mentioned the throw it in a dryer by a 3rd party he the went to say that it was my fault and that I had tried to wash it my self. We have done some cleaning here at this location and I brought a bridesmaid dress to be hemmed. Although this dress has 4 layers I was shocked to get the $220 estimate after I stood for the measuring. I only payed $175 for dress. I left and tried to get creative to save money. Although David's Bridal is pretty far away from my home I called to see if this pricing was in line with the normal. However even David's Bridal where I got the dress quoted only 65-85 for the Alterations. I went to another cleaners near by and had alterations done for $65. I would not recommend this place for alterations and I would guess a price given by them. read more

I dropped off my winter jacket for dry cleaning last week. I didn't like the price but I am willing to pay if they can remove stain from my jacket. When I picked up my jacket I couldn't believe they didn't remove any stain from my jacket. I don't want to pay a dime for what they did. But They said they worked on many hours to remove the stain. They have to charge even though there is still big spot of stain. I wanted to argue but I was too tired to talk to this Moran. I came home and use little bit of dish soap on baby wipes and all the stain removed clearly. I am soooo mad at owner and they didn't do anything and charge so much!! Don't go there!! My good friend gave me a bunch of work suits, so I opted to take them here. This is my first experience with a Las Vegas dry cleaner so price wise I couldn't say if I got a good deal or not. 4.99 for each jacket, suits were the same, so to me it felt like a BOGO kind of deal. I also had a long winter coat that was around twenty dollars. Overall it came to about 85 dollars for two bags of clothes. My only gripe was that it took longer than the slip said. Five days turned into ten days, but the garments are clean and they smell good. The skirts were neatly clipped up on the hangers and everything is pressed and looking ready to wear. They must get a lot of business because there was a line out the door each time I've come here. I also noticed that other cleaners vans parked outside picking up stuff so they must do good work, or they are part of a chain. They offer alterations and advertise for quilts and wedding dresses. I asked if they would dry clean my purse. (Which has seen better days, seeing as I dropped it in a mud puddle last winter.) They said they would take it. So I'll be back. read more

I don't normally rate any service as 1 star but I don't have choice. Was a repeat customer. Had garments serviced, the standard was less than normal and their response was worst. When asked of my options to get the same quality as before I was told "we can try again, but we risk ruining the garments and you have water spots left behind...WTH! I have been a customer for a few years. Once the good cashier left things changed; customer service went downhill. I stuck around even with price increases. I ended up moving my business over to a cleaners w the same or in cases less fees w pick n drop off services. Today I have several out door curtains that need cut and hemmed. (7 sets of 2) the new lady tried to charge me $25 for each panel. At first $25 for a set was ok and the new cashier and agreed and mentioned the price back to her. The seamstress looked offended and said no no for one - doubling the price! The cashier looked at me and then away. I told her this was your last shot you over charge and I will go to my new cleaners. This is exactly why you have lost business and now mine. This place should be called "Highway Robbery" dry cleaners. We needed permanent and temporary alterations done on several pieces of garments for my son's wedding in NY. We needed the alterations done no later than 5 days. We were told that there would be extra fees added onto each garment because they consider it a rush job, as they take longer than 5 days to alter garments. We didn't have the time to go around and shop other dry cleaner' prices so we reluctantly agreed to their extra fees. We were also worried that we'd run into the same issue elsewhere so we figured to just go with them. Had to bite the bullet on this one and never again I tell ya! 1 of the garments was my husband's rented tux jacket, taking the sleeve' length up about 2 1/2" with a temporary hem, as it needed to be returned to the vendor after the wedding. Total cost $65. As we're looking at the temp. hem when coming back on the 5th day to pick up our garments, it literally looked like it was done in 5 min tops. No way was it worth the $65 we paid. The hem was totally crooked and the gaps between the threading were really wide. It literally looked like a young child or someone who had no clue how to sew did it. When asked why it looked like that, the Asian woman said cause it's only a temporary hem. Uhh...okay! Luckily the tux was black and it was on the inside so it couldn't be seen. My daughter's blazer needed to be taken up at the sleeves 1" and both sides taken in about 1" from the underarm down. Total cost $90 (More than what I even paid for it). Not to mention, they added in shoulder pads that were never discussed. When asked why, the Asian woman said she thought it would look/fit better on her. Yah right! It was apparently added in to cover up a sewing mistake she made. It wasn't noticed until my daughter was actually wearing and moving around in it, because my daughter kept tugging on her blazer at the wedding. When I asked her why she was doing that, she said it felt like it was pulling/twisting to one side, which meant that it was sewn crooked somewhere on the blazer. 4 buttons on my other daughters dress needed to be changed out (we supplied the new buttons). Nothing difficult that required a lot of manual labor, nor were they special kinds of buttons either. Total cost $35. It looked like the buttons weren't sewn on tight enough and looked to be too loose. When asked why, Asian woman said it's because of the buttons we supplied them with. Ironic, they were the exact type of buttons that were originally on the dress, just a different design on the button face. In fact they were the exact same size as the original buttons too. When it came to my dress that needed to be taken up about 1" I said forget it! I'll just buy another pair of heels to make up the 1" difference, especially being quoted $100 to alter my dress. Thank baby Jesus I didn't let them alter it either, being how shoddy our other garments turned out. I would've been absolutely mortified had I attended my son's wedding in a uneven sewn dress. It's really disappointing to know how greedy a business can be, especially when they know you're pressed for time and take advantage of that fact AND do shoddy work on top of it! Also, as we were first there with our wedding garments that needed to be altered, we inquired about prices for other things we wanted to get done on other garments. No rush needed on any of these pieces. I had 3 cotton garments with holes. No fancy, difficult clothing or material. Just tights, a thin long sleeve shirt, and a tank top. 1 had a hole on the seam about 2" long. It was grey so no special color thread needed. They quoted $12. The 2nd garment had a hole on the seam again, down the inside by the thigh area about 4" long. It was red and white so either thread color could've been used. They quoted $15. The 3rd garment had a tiny hole about 2 centimeters under the seam by the underarm. Rust colored top, which they said they had that color thread. Quoted $10. I said forget it! Way too expensive and with those kinds of prices, I could've went out and bought new clothes. That was their normal prices too! Cannot imagine what their "rush" pricing would've been. Perhaps their high prices are only on clothing needing alterations?.....Nope! My husband inquired about pricing for dry cleaning on 4 mens pair of slacks, 3 polo shirts, and 2 mens long sleeve dress shirts. Quoted $55. He said forget it! This dry cleaners is out of their minds, charging prices like this is some swanky, bouchée up-town they're located in. It's North Las Vegas for crying out loud! They need to get over themselves and their ridiculous prices, especially when their work is shoddy and doesn't match up to their costs. In fact, I've noticed most of the shops located in that specific shopping area are all pricey as well! read more

I would never have gone here considering the yelp reviews. But a police officer friend of mine said that they gave him a discount and treated him exceptionally well. I should have trusted yelp. I arrived and the staff was so rude, antisocial and not charismatic. No greeting when you arrive. No transparency about prices. It took me about 5-7 minutes just to get proper prices that were consistent. It was as if they didn't want to share with me the prices. When I asked about the difference between "press and wash" and drying cleaning, they said the prices were the same. In my experience, press and wash is cheaper than drying cleaning. They said they dry clean everything. I think that is a waste, especially for dress shirts that are cotton but you want nice and pressed for work. Their prices are above other dry cleaners in the area. The quality of dry cleaning is so-so...I am not coming here again. They do not offer any type of coupons or cash discounts for clients. Giving them the benefit of the doubt (for no cash discounts and coupons), the quality of their customer service is so terrible. When I sent to pick up my dry cleaning, I remembered the woman behind the desk. I greeted her with a "Hello Bertha!" And she just said "Hi." There was no "how can I help you" or "good to see you again." Didn't even pretend to remember me or engage in conversation. That is not the type of business I want to do business with. Even if their dry cleaning came out spectacular (which it didn't), I still wouldn't come back here. I would pass on this place and find another drycleaners in the area. read more

Don't use them period! it's not worth the headache, I dropped of a high-school letterman's jacket on the 7th for pick up on the 16th which worked out because the jacket was needed for a photo shoot, and I was very clear on the dates with them,I called on the 15th to see if it would be ready the following day, I was told that there was a delay and it wouldn't be ready until the 30th, I then received a call back telling me that it would ship out on the 17th I asked that it be sent fedex overnight and that I would pay for it, so I could still make the photo shoot,I was assured it would go out overnight, it was also explained to me that "the delay was probably due to the holiday" the only recent holiday was the 4th of July which was before I dropped off the jacket, so I'm still confused about that one, the jacket came in on the 21st it didn't go out fedex I was told that this was due to a ( miscommunication ) (the photo shoot had to be canceled) I picked it up today, they pulled it out of a very small box it was wrapped in plastic, (they could have at-least hung it up as soon as it came in,) the patches on the jacket are dark yellow ( they were white ) the leather sleeves are hard and discolored, the embroidery is un sewn in several places and the large patch on the back is puckered where it shrank, I called the manufacture and was told that these things occur when the garment is washed in a washing machine or improperly dry cleaned, on the bright side they didn't charge me the $74.80 cleaning fee, I'm just out $560.00 for the jacket. I'm going back this afternoon hopefully they will do the right thing. read more

The service is always friendly and there has never been an issue with the quality of the cleaning or condition of the garments upon return. I have also had a few alterations completed to my satisfaction. They may not have same day service but have always delivered my items in the time frame promised and are willing to work with the time frame if something is needed in a rush. read more

My wife and I came in for ibjjf masters worlds. We were in need of some patches put on our gis. For 8 patches it was $165. Steep but understandable for a rush order. We collected the gis and immediately my wife noticed they had done hers wrong. When she asked she was told to bring a picture next time and shooed our the door. No receipt or anything. We get ready for Comp and she put her top on to find that hers had been shrunk! The sleeves stopped at her forearms. So now we are out $160 for a gi no longer made and a $165 for patches that were wrong. We brought it immediately back where the owner, and two women began shouting with my wife and demanding I bring mine back to compare. My gi was also shrunk but not to the same degree as my wife's. Instead they insulted my wife and I and denied all blame. I don't know what yelp does but this place deserves no stars and should be put out of business. read more

My husband and I have been using Aliante Cleaners since they opened (8-9 years???). I don't know what has happened to them (new owners???).....but the service isn't up-to-par. My husband has a many Ralph Lauren shirts and has always asked for medium starch......guess what????.....his shirts can stand up without a hanger!!!!!! We've told them....let's try no starch...Same results. The shirts are ruined. I've tried washing them in hot water/letting them soak many times, et al...to no avail. Apparently, the cleaners uses a synthetic starch......which, in fact. adheres to the fibers of clothing.....just like GLUE. No getting it out!!!!!!!!! We will NEVER EVER use Aliante Cleaners again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PS....I actually took the shirts back (ironed/non-ironed) and the owner just laughed ad said "We no use starch"....go figure. read more

This cleaning business has everything going for it; competence, pleasant service, and an ideal location. That said, however, there is just one large drawback. Their prices are not just high for an already overpriced industry, they are OUTRAGIOUS! I was charged $106 for what would have been $65 to $70 in any other establishment! I'm guessing they get away with their astronomical prices due to their convent locale in the heart of the Aliante planned community, and the lack of any nearby competition.
