    Red Velvet and M&M Cookie
    Mollie M.

A nice place to sooth a sweet tooth craving, but apparently not to quench your thirst. I rode my bike multiple miles on the trails before arriving to Alibi for a sweet treat reward and a refreshment, but they were out of water!? The cookies and ice cream tasted good, but they were out of a lot of flavors. They were also out of water. The employee mentioned that they do not offer water cups, nor did they have water bottles in stock. It was interesting that water cups are not avaliable- is there not a tap faucet in the kitchen? The employee was helpful in providing information on cookie prices and being able to turn any of the cookies into an ice cream sandwich is a pretty neat idea.

    Cha-Cha L.

Had only 4 flavors of cookies, all were hard and grainy, only one worker and was to worried about his phone game to make the icecream shake (they had the flavor and icecream) The worker had no gloves on, long hair that was hanging down, and cookies were stale

Deluxe cookies on the left and a sampler of the regular cookies on the right. Milkshake is the baked apple pie cookie Shake.

Incredibly expensive Pillsbury break and bake cookies. Do yourself a favor, buy a pack from Schnucks instead. Avoid this place

I also loved the atmosphere, upscale food without feeling stuffy or pretentious. It felt like the kind of place you could walk into dressed casually and still enjoy an amazing dining experience. From the moment we sat down, our waitress was fantastic. Since it was our first time visiting, we were welcomed with complimentary deviled eggs, which were absolutely delicious. And the cocktails? Perfectly crafted and easily some of the best we've had in a while. We're already looking forward to coming back. Thank you for helping make our anniversary feel so special!

It's one of a very few places in the area that isn't a chain, isn't just burgers and pizza, and also isn't pretentious or overpriced. The service is always friendly and knowledgeable. We've been there at least ten times and only once was the service slow. It was an anomaly because they're usually really on top of things. Ambiance is a friendly, but upscaled downtown cafe/bar place that is perfect for taking out-of-towners or a fun brunch with the ladies. (They have a separate brunch menu on Saturdays!) I don't drink, so I can't comment on their drink selections. I'm taking away a star because the parking situation is annoying, especially during construction. There is street parking or a huge parking lot in the back. However, the back parking lot is a terrible hodgepodge of concrete and asphalt and a gazillion potholes and no super clear direction on how to get to the restaurant. Some signage would go a long way in helping customers to not only find parking, but once parked, to them navigate back to the little crevice where the back door is located. The back porch is located behind a larger portion of the structure and you can't see it from the parking lot. Additionally, if you have anyone in your party with mobility issues, it's next-to-impossible to park near enough to the door to make a difference. The handicapped parking spots are 40 yards away from the back door. All that said, we will def go back because there's nothing else like it in the area.

You order at the counter, if you need a beverage you select it from a cooler. Once you order, you select your seat at one of the many vintage table and chairs in the fairly large dining room. When your food is ready, they'll bring it out to you. Hope you're hungry, because you'll be amazed at the healthy portions. They're just like how your grandma would have filled your plate. There's a variety of different daily specials, or you can order from the standard menu. My recent visit, I went with the Homestyle Meatloaf with a side of Green Beans and a second side of, Mashed Potatoes with Brown Gravy. Yum! Potatoes were roughly smashed with skins on, making it obvious that they were made from scratch. The green beans could have had some more black pepper, but that's on me. I'm a black pepper, junkie. It's my favorite spice. The ambiance is eclectic and the fresh cut flowers on the tables are a nice touch. I hate fake flowers on a dining table, it's tacky in my opinion. If you're craving a home cooked meal head on over to, Food A Fare. I guarantee you will not be disappointed. Oh, I forgot to mention, the husband and wife team are super personable and friendly.

This place has what most wineries need - wines to suit everyone's tastes. Personally, I'm a dry red drinker, but I enjoyed almost every wine I tasted, including the sweet stuff. I was surprised to see they had a great tasting wine for those who prefer dry to the semi-sweets all the way to the sweet ones. That's an exceptional selection! We arrived when the place was hopping with a couple big parties on buses, but heard Shannon giving a tasting later in the afternoon when there wasn't such a crowd. For those who love wine and are interested in the grapes and process, find the time to do a tasting with Shannon. I was a little sad I missed the story behind the wines when we did our tasting. Regardless, the scenery was incredible and the wines were fantastic. You gotta Love a place where they treat you like family, even on your first visit!

After that, we got sat down at our table. It was moderate noise despite the crowd and the Elvis fans. We just ordered water since we were not sure what to get yet. The menu items were reasonable. What I got for my appetizer is Garlic Cheese Bread. The Garlic Cheese Bread was delicious. The bread was perfectly cooked and the cheese was very cheesy, creamy and delicious. It also came with a soup and salad. I got a house salad with a tortellini soup. They forgot our silverware, so we notified the waiter and they instantly brought us back silverware. The salad and soup were amazing. The soup was warm and delicious and the salad was too. I also got the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. It was amazing. The sauce was creamy and the chicken was perfectly cooked. The noodles were also perfectly cooked/boiled. Will come back again.
