I took my wedding dress back to Deborah when she opened her tailoring store in the same plaza as the old bridal store. Her team, especially Helen the tailor, put so much care into my dress and making sure that my dress fit and tailored correctly. They were super warm and inviting upon attending with my mom, sister, mother-in-law, and toddler niece. We all never had any experience with bridal dress shopping so this was a first time for all of us. They made it such a fun experience and had a great selection of dresses both with my inspiration in mind and others they thought I would like! They offered a lot of advice and were so hands on, both helping me button up the dresses and fanning out the trains and even trying on different veils! They also encouraged us to get lots of pictures and video of all the dresses I tried on, in all the angles of course! Prices on the dresses were super fair and a fraction of the price I would imagine at other places. They were also super patient with my niece when she wanted to check out some dresses too and even when she shed some tears (a result of disrupting her beauty sleep and getting up early no doubt!) Since my wedding is still about 11 months away, they had no trouble helping me find something that could be ordered in time. They explained that they typically need at least six months' notice for a dress to arrive, which made the process feel very manageable and stress-free. My mother in law and I were told by the owner, she would order the dress 6 months in advance so we know it has not been placed or purchased yet. Today is September and party is not until July. The owner did not want to work anything out for the deposit, we would had bought more items from location if she would had work something out. Just be aware if you book anything not matter how advanced , you can't change your mind anymore.

The seamstress Garine was kind and helpful, but another employee Zina was so incredibly rude. She came off very kind in the beginning but she is a very hostile woman who made the entire experience a very sad one for me and it's still on my mind. When I went to pick up my dress, she called me and immediately accused me of being "disrespectful" for not doing all my alterations with them--something that was never stated to me as a clear policy. In person, she continued to speak to me harshly and said I wasted their time and what I did was not acceptable. She said it so many times and so aggressively I started to cry, and only then she felt bad for being so ridiculously harsh. I even offered to apologize to her seamstress who she claims I was wasting her time, to which she then told told me "it's not a big deal" To make it worse, I was quoted $50 but charged $75 with no clear explanation. I did not want to further argue so I paid what was asked. I went in to pick up my wedding dress, an experience every girl wants to remember for the rest of their lives and left feeling upset and honestly in tears. No customer should be treated this way. Would not recommend doing business with someone like her.

I gave her my vision, she told me where it may be risky or not possible and we made a plan. The results though - beyond what I could've imagined and even more beautiful than what we had discussed. She's truly a talent and I would refer her every time if I could. Highly recommend. I recommend that giving her her plenty of time to turnaround your project. My base dress fit just perfectly, but lacked all the lace decoration I wanted and I got really lucky I caught her in between projects which is super rare. So go early!
