Wish I could give 5 stars, but I think your experience depends on who you get. Went with some friends, each of us getting the Sugar scrub. All but one of us thoroughly enjoyed the experience. My therapist was great and have me a perfect experience. One of my friends said it was so great she fell asleep. However, one of my friends suspected her therapist was hung over. She said that she kept stopping for long moments in the massage and even left at one point. She also smelled like she'd had a few too many the night before. Holly was my massage therapist and she was great and funny I don't remember the name of the lady that did my other treatments...I was too relaxed when I met her my brain wasn't working. We are v. pleased to hear the spa has responded to feedback and revamped facilities to make guests feel comfortable.. New trtmt room and mani pedi area rocks.. Newly expanded Relaxation facilities are incredible... We called a few places around town to price shop and not only did Align answer first call, they found out it was our anniversary and provided balloons and cupcakes at no charge! Made our week in Park City--over and above the comps!!! I've gotten a massage, two facials and 4 mani/pedis at Align over the course of a few months. The massage was okay; small room and noisy surroundings. The facial was excellent; so much so, I returned for another. The absolute best service is the Shellac polish. It stays on two+ weeks for a manicure and longer on toes. It does not chip but has to be removed at the salon (no cost if you reapply)! Takes a while but so worth it! read more

This weekend my girlfriend and I went to Align Spa. We were greeted by the kind hostess who took us to the back room and provided us with robes, the lockers had our names already on them!!!! We came to the spa early and used their sauna, it was clean and just the right amount of heat. Then our massage therapists gathered us from the hot room and delighted us with massages. NOT for Manicure or Pedicure!!! Services performed in dimly lit, closet sized room with limited selection of product. My daughter received a 2 week shellac manicure and I received a pedicure. Very disappointed in the manicure in particular. The room was so small there was no where to even set the drying lamp. The manicure was sloppy - missing the nails and onto the skin. The chair I was seated in was incredibly uncomfortable and the service itself was just fair in comparison to what I have received elsewhere. In fairness it did appear that there were lots of people coming here for massages, so maybe that is their niche. But don't go here for manicure or pedicure. read more

I live out of the area and wanted to give my friend Marilyn a full service pedicure for her birthday. On her daughter's recommendation, I chose Align Spa in Park City, Utah. I spoke to Calli and arranged for her to insert the Gift Certificate in a birthday card and mail it on to the unsuspecting birthday girl. Well the Express Mail envelope I sent arrived the afternoon before Marilyn's Birthday and would not have allowed time enough to insert the Gift Certificate and mail it locally. I was disappointed my Birthday Gift would not arrive in time. As luck would have it, I mentioned that Marilyn owned Booster Juice in Park City and Calli offered to go out and personally deliver my Birthday Gift to her when she went to run business errands. . Well I got a call the next day from the Happy Birthday Girl and again while she was having her pedicure at Align Spa. She was so happy and pleased with them she confessed she loves the Spa and goes to them regularly. Knowing my friend she knows a great place and will patronize it. My hubby and I did a couples massage apres snowboarding on Valentines day this year during our vacation in Park City. This place is very nice - they definitely try to create a day spa atmosphere (Don't expect a spa with facilities like steam rooms/jacuzzis etc - but they do have a very nice place for you to shower). The people were very accommodating, picking us up from the slopes and dropping us off back at our condo in town. We both prefer deep tissue - and both agreed the massages were very good - some of the best we've had (and we both love to get massages). We met Harriet, the owner, when she picked us up from the mountain - and it was obvious to us that she runs a very smart business and truly tries to cater to her clients. I have been a regular customer at Align Spa for over five years. I have watched Align expand and grow this business, without sacrificing talent and quality of service. The Shadow Ridge location seemed really dark to me and was a bit inconvenient due to it being right at the base of PCMR (lots of competition for parking). I was very happy when they moved to Bonanza drive as it is much easier to access, parking is never a problem. Because I am a local, I am well aware of what you are really getting when you frequent a spa that focuses on marble columns and plunge pools. You are getting a high cost for service that generally inconsistent (I know because initially I did visit these places only to be disappointed). Employee turn-over at the Architectural Masterpiece Spas is extremely high, and consistency in training and quality of service is often lacking. I am not interested in overpaying for a Massage or Facial, only to walk out disappointed and light in the wallet. From day one, this experience has never happened to me at Align. I have visited my regulars therapists at Align, but also have had new (to Align) therapists and loved each and every treatment. I would not go anywhere else in Park City, because the quality and service is top notch. read more
