Went Yesterday to to get alignment done on my Nissan Maxima, got recommended by Costco Techinian said it was a great place to get alignment done, good prices and straight forward. When i got there Owner was very busy on another vehicle yet still took the time to inspect my vehicle before doing alignment. I knew i had problem on my front tire made a noise, so he showed me what was wrong with it. Messed up bearing that needed to be repaired ASAP. Rest of the day he was booked but told me to leave vehicle in afternoon and over night that it would be ready early next morning. Pretty much he was booked the whole day yet still went out of his way to fit in my vehicle in his schedule after i had explained i needed it ASAP because we where going to LAS VEGAS on thursday . Got a call early morning as promised and picked up my vehicle. Every thing was done perfectly. Its a one man shop but the prices on wheel alignment cant be beat and hes very straightforward NO BS! I purchased tires a set of tires from COSTCO and needed an alignment big time. COSTCO recommended this place so I decided to take it in. I was VERY pleased with my visit. It was real clear by the way his shop looked that he took pride in his work. The shop was VERY clean. He was very thorough with his interview questions about what the car was doing before the new tires and what kind of driving I did. The Audi dealer wanted $300 for a four wheel alignment of my A7 so I read reviews looking for high quality shop wanting to pay less but not bargain bottom shop. I read reviews and booked appt for Monday AM. I arrived a bit early before opening. He was already there and gladly took my car. I waited in shop and he was done in less than hour. Afterwards he explained the adjustments and provided diagram printout. He explained the limitations (like many of newer German cars) and what I can do to maintain performance. Put (4) new tires on the wife's car last week and was told slight inner wear recommend alignment check. Where to go? Jumped on yelp and called two mechanic friends and they all highly Recommended Gary at the Alignment shop. I called to make an appointment in a few days or week since the wife works in FF and while talking with Gary he had an opening same day so I booked it. Gary test drove the car went over the pre & post readings and then explained the car had a radial pull, he crossed rotated the front tires retest drove the car and the pull went from right to left under acceleration meaning the new tire had an issue. Just finished a restomod of an old MG and was looking for someone who understood custom suspensions. Came to Gary based on good reviews here. Very, very pleased! He's a one-man shop (no 18 year old playing around with my custom 4 link rear suspension). Not only does he do a lot of hot rod/race car set-ups, but he let me be his assistant which helped me learn alot (which beats the regular tire shop that won't let you anywhere near their work area). I scheduled an appointment and was able to get in the next day. The reviews on Yelp looked great so I decided to give it a try. I handed over the keys and Gary went right to it. He's very straight forward but still showed me the alignment issues with my car and how my tires wore uneven because of it. I was out the door $65 later and my car definitely has a lot less road noise because of it. My only recommendation would be to dress warm because you wait in the shop while he's working. I was told my rotors were illegal and out of CA state standards. I was worried my Honda was too dangerous to drive, so I took it to Gary and he inspected my car. Told me my rotors were perfectly fine and my car is safe to drive. He took the time to explain to my mom there are two different specs to determine the thickness of the rotors.
