I took my car in to get the truck repaired. He gave me a quote which I thought was reasonable. When I came back, the bill was actually lower than what was quoted. He told me an expensive part wasn't needed. He could have easily ripped me off by saying he put in that expensive part and I probably would have never known. These guys really saved me and helped out a lot. Broke down with my 1998 Toyota Corolla on highway 80 approaching Fairfield. Every auto shop in Fairfield was busy but they were very accommodating and willing to take a look and hold the car over the weekend if it needed to be scheduled. They jumped the car and it was declared a loss. While the diagnosis was originally $149, they waived the fee after seeing that the engine could not be saved, needing no further diagnosis. The fact that they understood my situation, a college student that isn't from the area and on a budget, means they truly care about people and want to help out. Despite being busy that morning with other repairs, they immediately took the time to get a fair and honest assessment on how to move forward with my car. They also gave advice on what they would do if they were in my shoes and needed to get the car taken to a lot. This place is the holy grail of auto mechanic shops in Fairfield. I have been to three other mechanics here in town, all of which really put the screws to me. You name it as to the terrible service I have received from all of them. So bad it was that I think I actually have PTSD presenting as Manic Depressive Disorder resulting from auto repair. No matter what the problem, it's going to be over a thousand dollars ( at least)...like there's mechanic cartel or something. Oh and "I can't get to it till next week,"...then take 5-10 days to finish. You all know it's true! FINELY!!! I found Pullin's and and met up with the owner/operator Jason. The last honest business man in town. Such a cool guy. Friendly, fair, and accommodating. I had a few minor problems, a new ignition switch &key(required steering column tear down), another unknown squealing, which turned out to be PVC hose which he found and replaced for FREE!!! They replaced a broken parking break cable,... all together parts and labor just a little over $300.00!!! Did I mention, knowing I was without transportation, they bumped me and my needs ahead of customers they were already working on before me. What else can you possibly ask for?,... Unbelievable! This place is fantastic I have to tell you,...Believe It! When I was digging through my cash to pay the bill, he says," ah, don't worry about that last five bucks, that's cool. Good enough. ... Wow. Well, Jason did it again! Took a"free" truck I took over from my daughter after she learned about driving in the rain in Seattle. Straightened the front end mess while saving the bumper, repaired the crushed a/c, gave me some great advice on finding the right shop repaint the body (starting to rust) and sent over for a new headliner. Working with Pullin's Premier Auto is a relationship. His dad and brother were just as honest as Jason. Needs work? I'll pay. This is THE place to go when you need any work done on your car. The owner of Pullin's Premier Auto Care, Jason Pullin, is very knowledgeable and honest. He does great work and never talks you into anything you don't need. It is a big help to have a place where you can be sure no one is taking advantage of you. The customer service is also great and the job gets done on time. Jason's business card lists Ford, Lexus, Chevrolet, Acura, Dodge, Toyota, GMC and Infinity but he has also done great work on my Hyundai. Pullin's recently opened at the location that used to be Jim's Automotive. I think Jason was a co-owner at Jim's Automotive - he did all the work on our cars there, and we've never had any issues. I was referred to Pullin's Premier Auto Care in late September by a friend. Our friend is very particular about his diesel truck care as he depends on it for his work. Being skeptical I checked Pullin's reviews and surprised he had a 5 star rating. I was impressed that all the reviews commented on his fairness, honesty and communications. I scheduled an appointment to have my new to me pre-owned Ford diesel F-350's Tire rotation with re-balancing and front end alignment. Also adjusting the column shift indicator and replacing the gas tank's sending unit as the gauge was showing full all the time. Jason performed all the tasks I requested and performed a test drive to make sure everything was working properly. He also suggested replacing the front shocks as why the front tires were cupping. The truck tracks and handles very well and my gas gauge works now. And the shift indicator is in the correct position when in the park and drive position. His labor & parts cost is very reasonable. He'll advise what preventive maintenance needs to be done and on the things that can wait. He's very professional, knowledgeable, honest and fair. He kept me in the loop the entire time. Most recently Jason replaced my ignition switch and the cost for labor and parts were again very reasonable.
