I've been meaning to write a review for this place. They did an amazing job on my Pom. My dog Mimi's hair is super thick and last summer I brought her here from a flyer that I had found at a local place. I wanted her to have super short hair without being shaved and they did absoutely what I asked for, I even loved the little bow they put in her hair afterwards! Only thing I wish was that it wasn't so far from home. I have since then been to other places and have been unpleased. I will be bringing Mimi back here!! They now have a loyal customer! read more

Love, love, LOVE this place! I first started coming here because they were the only place that sold Taste of the Wild dog food near my home. Then I decided to give their grooming services a try. My dog came home soft and didn't shed nearly as much as he is capable of. The lady who scheduled my appointment was so nice and explained the whole process to me. The second time was also pleasant. We now starting buying Earth Rated Poop Bags from them, which are amazing! It really has become a one stop shop for great dog brands and great dog services. read more

I found All 4 Dirty Paws on yelp and am thrilled I did! I brought my shih tzu mix in for the full grooming treatment and he came out looking exactly as I asked. He was happy and did not appear stressed. His nails were filed so that they were smooth and not scratchy. His breath is much improved following a thorough brushing. The person who helped me (faux pas on my part that I do not remember her name!) was so helpful and friendly. She gave me some good food recommendations for my picky eater too. I had been taking my dog all the way to Glenview for grooming, Wags on Willow because I loved them. But, I've been looking for a local place for a while. I literally can not think of anything bad to say about this place. I've been coming for over a year and absolutely all of my experiences have been impeccable. My pug is a handful to have his nails done but they are super accommodating. There have also been a few times where they have caught minor cuts and eat infections and have even saved me money by showing me treatments to do at home. It's safe to say that I trust them more than I do the vet! If you are looking for an accommodating spot that pays attention to detail you've found your spot at All 4 Dirty Paws. I was able to make a same day appointment here for nail clipping, so that was a great start. Brought my dog in and after some whines, squeaks, and a few minutes he came out with clipped nails. They charge $10, so it's not expensive. They did not file his nails smooth, but I also didn't have time to inquire whether they could do that for an up charge - I suppose I'll deal with his sharp nails for now. This is the best grooming salon! Amanda(the groomer) is very professional she was attentive to my needs. I am super specific on how I want my dogs groomed and she did the job. My dogs have a hard time when I leave them anywhere she was sweet and patient towards them. My dogs even got a bag of treats when I picked them up. Walked right past this unobtrusive storefront on Cicero for years without giving it a second thought...then needed grooming on short notice and decided to give it a try. The store is very well kept and the staff is extremely friendly. Felt comfortable leaving my dog in their care. The groomer did an excellent job - one of the best he has had - for a reasonable price. Tip: if your dog has a white or fair colored face, spring for the "blueberry facial" ( yes, I realize this sounds more like Beverly Hills than Portage Park ) but it will brighten his/ her complexion and make your dog look 10 years younger. I can't be more pleased with All 4 Dirty Paws. We have a new dog we adopted from a shelter and she's a high energy german shepherd mix; special in more ways than one. In order to get the "shelter stink" out of her, they gave her 4 baths. Nicky came out happy and beautiful. I trust them with my dog and appreciate the attention and kindness they give. We moved up to Portage Park last summer but kept going back to our amazing groomers in Lakeview--which ended up being too much of a hassle. I checked out Yelp for groomers near us & All 4 Dirty Paws had great reviews. I'm a totally nervous person when it comes to my fur babies but they came back to me happy and looking fantastic. Very friendly staff, clean facility, and concern that you are happy with the haircuts. Loading zone for parking is a big plus as well in the city. I was very pleased and we will be back! read more

Amanda takes care of our fur babies like they were her own and is an excellent groomer. We have been to a few groomers before her and did not have a great experience. Went looking for a groomer after my dog got filthy dirty rolling around outside and I realized I was in over my head for a quick cleanup. Found All 4 Dirty Paws which was only a few minutes away from my house and after explaining the situation, they were kind enough to squeeze me in the same day on short notice. I read all the reviews and everyone raves about Jessica and Amanda. So when I made an appointment I thought I'd be getting one or the other. Well no, I got Dawn. Right off the bat I knew my baby would not like her because she was a loud, come at you kind of person. Reluctantly, I let her take my dog to the secret back room. This was a Saturday and lots of other dogs were being brought in. 2 hours later they called to say come pick her up. The receptionist brought her out. Not Dawn. Which I had a gut feeling something was not right. The cut was ok, not well done as there was long hair hanging underneath I noticed when I got her home. Three days later after I came home from work, my back of my dog's neck was all bloody! Shocked, I cleaned her up looking for a bug bite or a cut, but found nothing. Her skin was real red. We took her to the doctor to see what was going on. They shaved her and there was a large area about the size of baseball all red and irritated and oozing. $200 plus bill and gave us antibiodics to prevent infection. The only think we could think that happened to her was she was BURNED by a hair dryer. The area is brown now like its scabbing up. I never had anything happen like this before in 11 years with my old groomer (now retired). I am livid. Please - if you go to this place DO NOT allow Dawn to groom your dog. read more

We have been using All 4 Dirty Paws for 3.5 years now and they are still as great. The ladies who run it are wonderful. After one of our dogs passed away from cancer, they were genuinely sad to hear and sent us the nicest handwritten sympathy card. I absolutely love them. I've been taking my two girls to them since 2012 and have no complaints. They always try to accommodate my two girls into their schedule. My pups always leaving looking fabulous and smelling amazing. I know my pups can be a handful and they seem to really take that into consideration. They love what they do and they love their four legged clients! Plus they're affordable! So glad I found my groomer home for my girls. We definitely had some bad experiences before coming here. So glad I did because they are the best. I have brought my dog there several times now and they treat him like he is their own. I explained to them the concerns I had with my experiences at other places and they put me at ease. They explain everything in detail, they call you with updates and their prices are excellent. I rescued my shitzu-pug about a year ago now and had been going to Petsmart for his grooming and wasn't very please and they over charged. I heard about this place through a friend on Facebook and decided to try it out. I have only taken him here 2 times now, but I love everything about this place. My dogs name is Patches, and he was rescued from an abusive home and is not very friendly with people. But I love that the people who work there are very friendly, the groomer does a great job at cutting his hair, and it also isn't over priced. They also are being patient with my dog to get used to them. I am so happy I found this place! read more

This place is great! We have a rescue pittie who wasn't socialized with other dogs as a pup and is also a nervous wreck. Trying to bring her in anywhere to get her nails clipped can be difficult since she can't play nice with others. All 4 Dirty Paws were incredibly kind and accommodating when I explained my situation and worked with me so that I could bring Hope in. They were so friendly and nice.
