I came in for a series of 6 prenatal massages. Sandy was such a blessing of a massage therapist! I came in with my hips and lower back in serious pregnancy pain to the extent that I couldn't even sleep. Not only did the massage itself feel amazing, but the pain steadily decreased and I could sleep again! Sandy has a great intuition for where to massage. She seems to know exactly where the stiffness is and work on it in the perfect way -- where you feel the knot working out but without too much pain. Not only that, but both Sandy and the entire front desk staff was so kind and sweet. They were always checking in on my progress and the baby and seemed to share my excitement for this exciting phase! He is a very kind and friendly massage therapist and really concentrated on what the area that needs work is. But then today he was not available so I had Masaru as my masseuse and it was phenomenal! He found muscles that I didn't even know where sore! I am someone who gets regular masssages but have not had one in 7 months due to COVID. I was able to schedule the same day and had Sara as my massage therapist. She did an amazing job and I felt safe being in the facility. They asked questions and checked temps before the massage. My shoulders were so tight and Sara was able to get them moving again. I've been going to All About Massage (AAM) for many years. While I have had many different massage therapists from there - all outstanding, I have mostly received massages from Stan. Like most other great reviews for him, I can attest to his professionalism, and the general high quality massage experience I've experienced each and every time. His intuitive focus on knots and muscle tension and integration of deep tissue massage with light resistance stretching illustrates his years of experience and broad-based training. Compared to other massage therapists I've had both in Canada and the US, he stands out as someone who has a deep understanding of human anatomy and I always feel much better and much healthier when I leave a session with him. Again, I've never, ever had a bad experience with him or any of the other therapists at AAM. It's also worker owned - as both of the owners are, themselves, highly trained massage therapists and they seem to surround themselves with only the best. All about Massage is definitely a cut above. I have been dealing with a shoulder injury for a while now. I have been to doctors, chiropractors, I've done ultrasound, Beemer, orthopedic acupuncture, physical therapy and massage and nothing has really helped. Every time I go for a massage I explain I want my shoulder worked on and then they go into autopilot and they may spend a couple of minutes before they completely ignore the only reason I came in... They found my 2 year old gift certificate in their system and got me in within 30 minutes. I've been in so much pain for the last 3 weeks that I asked the therapist to focus on my neck, shoulders and upper back for the entire hour. She was so tiny, I was worried she wouldn't be able to do handle what I had going on so I told her to give me everything she had. Well let me tell you, little Jamilah is no joke!
