At this point, you might as well call me the queen of poke. If you look at my reviews, I have reviewed most poke spots in the South Bay area. What I like about this place is the variety of toppings you can request on your poke. I usually get the medium poke, which is 3 proteins. I get tuna, salmon, and spicy tuna. I get base white rice. For my veggie toppings, I get corn, cucumbers, ginger and carrots. For my sides, I get crab meat and seaweed salad. It is super good. There is a good amount of seating inside. Sometimes I prefer to sit outside on the open benches scattered around the plaza. The staff is always friendly and they're not stingy with the protein. This is another good poke place I would come to if I am in the area. I would definitely come back!

After reading the rave reviews on Yelp, I was pretty excited to check this place out but I wasn't too impressed. Even though this place is "all about poke", it's strange how they also serve ramen, sushi and other dishes. I would rather have a restaurant stick to one thing that they're good at and that should be poke here. I got the medium bowl and I thought it was pretty pricey. Had I gotten a large, it would've cost close to $20...that's outrageous! I mean the plus is that they let you customize your bowl but that seems pretty standard everywhere nowadays. For the price, I was disappointed. It's nothing more than your average, overpriced poke spot that also weirdly serves ramen and sushi.

    Where's the rice??

Hoping this was just a bad day at this spot, but their service was terrible. Their rice was under cooked and hard. Their options are very limited, and don't you DARE ask for extra rice or chicken as a protein because they'll curse your unborn generations with a stare that'll kill.

Meh.. Figured I'd give them a try because they are so close to me. Comparatively cheaper than others poke spots but unfortunately, not very good in terms of quality and taste.

I found my new poke spot They have poke, ice cream, and SUSHI here! The poke is extremely fresh and the price is the lowest I could find around me. The sushi rolls are really big and fresh. A lot of places skimp out on the avocado but this place doesn't. Thank you for that Also, look how cute the chopsticks are!! I believe they are made from bamboo. Overall the price, taste, and portion sizes are 5/5 in my books. This place is a must try if your in the area ^_~

It's so cool to be able to "build your own poke" . Though not self service , a nice couple will put it together for you . I have been here many times and always hits the spot . Costs $13.79 for my order which is fairly competitive. I just keep misplacing my loyalty card! You get $10 off your 11th purchase . Option to dine in & it's never crowded . Parking is easy 8)

Let me just tell you that the small is plenty. It comes with two scoops of fish; I typically get double salmon because the salmon is so good. And you get a bunch of other stuff in there. After choosing a base (white or brown rice or a salad..I usually go with brown rice), I next usually choose seaweed salad and edamame and go with all of the toppings and a couple sauces at the next two topping stations (crunchies, green onion, thinly sliced cucumber, fresh jalapeno, etc.). I typically let them suggest the sauces; yesterday I got ponzu sauce as well as a shoyu sauce that was suggested. Then the items are delicately mixed by (gloved) hand and the bowls are handed over to you with a side of wasabi, ginger and packets of soy sauce. We decided to eat out on the large patio out front since it was such a nice day and it was lovely. Truly a great, healthy and reasonable lunch for $15.99, I'd say. Highly recommend...still!

The polite and personable gentleman behind the counter helped me narrow down my choices and offered samples. The salmon and tuna poke were delicious. One was shoyu, and the other was limu; both had umami flavors. I was so glad that the shoyu didn't have a hint of sweetness and that the limu wasn't too salty. The savory seasoning/marinade and cool temp made the poke a very satisfying and refreshing meal. I also asked for rice and mac salad for my to-go plate, and those were solid complements to the poke. It's a chill, fast-casual place with Hawaiian tropical decor and a few dine-in tables. The plaza it's in is kinda small and janky, but at least parking is free. If I'm ever in the area again, I'd love to drop by for their poke.

Torrance Food Crawl #442…read more Ali'i Hawaiian Grill offers a minimalist approach with a simple menu that has a limited selection. For the Poke bowls, select your bowl size, pick two from the four or so fish choices, a base (rice or salad), and for most bowls a side or two. After several visits, my experience has been fine each time. Good quality fish and fresh sides. There are also some plate options where you can select Huli Chicken or Kalua Pork. I've tried both the chicken and pork (though not on the plate option), and both were excellent. This location used to be strictly take-out, but now there are two tables inside if you'd like to sit inside. I feel compelled to mention that when I recently visited this location, they had a health grade of B from LA County displayed in the window. Yelp shows that they had 14 health code violations on September 18. Usually, I don't show too much concern for these health scores, but when a restaurant's primary product is raw fish, a lower score gets my attention.

I was a fan of their El Segundo location but I believe it is gone. This place had about 5 or 6 different fresh poke styles available during our visit. We tried the Hawaiian, the Creamy Garlic Crunch, and the Sweet and Spicy. We also ordered the Chips and Smoked Ahi Dip, and the Huli Chicken Bowl. I think I loved everything. The Creamy Garlic Crunch poke was especially amazing. It had a slight spicy kick to it and it was rich and delicious. The chips that came with the dip were obviously freshly-made wontons and I could have eaten a hundred of them. The dip was good but not as flavorful as I had hoped or had in the past. For the chicken bowl, the rice and cucumbers that came with the chicken were excellent. You get a ton of mac salad and it is excellent. The chicken was solid, too. Unless they are hiding in plain sight, the places that just sell fresh poke, without the bowl, are few and far between in Southern California. I love poke bowls, too, but sometimes the poke by itself (with the different sauces and seasoning) is just incredible. This spot serves delicious fresh poke and I will always be a fan.
