I usually get the salmon with garlic sauce which is so flavorful and tender or I get the vegetable noodle soup which is light and flavorful. The curry is good too and the noodles always hit the spot. Wasn't great. We got tofu Pad Thai, Tofu Drunken noodles, and the 3 amigos roll, all for takeout so I can't speak to the service. The sushi was weird: so much watery cucumber that it overpowered the fish. I didn't finish it. It was also not completely cut so when I picked up a piece, it stripped the piece next to it. The drunken noodles didn't taste like much of anything. They did have a good amount of vegetable, which is a win. But also, romaine? That's different. I could have done without that, especially the bases. The noodles themselves were basically mush. The texture of the pad thai noodles was better, but again, very lacking in flavor. A decent place with good Asian- Japanese -esque food. I had miso soup with pork. It was good and filling. My partner had a rice dish that was a 2 on 4 point spiciness scale and it was a bit tame to her tastes. Otherwise, that plate was good. The service is prompt enough somewhat attentive. The place is pretty much an average strip mall restaurant interior with a Buddha fountain so might not be a first date place. The parking is pretty easy. There was a decent volume of takeout business do the food here must have a good reputation. 4-stars is probably fair. I hope to visit again. read more

The good: We stumbled upon this place accidentally but I had a hankering for sushi so we were able to try it out! We got 4 sushi rolls from the fresh roll menu. They were made relatively quickly and tasted great. They varied from each other a lot. I loved the lemony sauce in the salmon truffle roll. The Daisy roll had a side salad with delicious dressing and thinly curled carrots. The salmon truffle roll was close to $17 but the others were all under $14. The prices were really fair. I liked how the spicy tuna was wrapped around the tempura in the truffle roll. I also liked that they didn't skimp on wasabi and pickled ginger. The presentation was nice as well. The bad: There's no outside dining option. Some of the slices in the rolls were larger/smaller than others. The interesting: The atmosphere is very casual. They're located in a big shopping plaza with lots of parking. Was just looking a nearby convenient place for some quick Asian food. Clean and simple place. It seems like a hybrid Thai/Japanese restaurant since they have both sushi/shashimi and thai food on their menu. When I walked in, the hostess was very nice and the place very clean. I took a second to look over the menu and found the spicy tuna on crispy Rice and the Pork Ramen both were full of flavor and a definite must try and must have again. This review is just for the sushi. This place serves both sushi and Thai food, which seems kind of odd to me. For sushi, I would've preferred to go somewhere in Torrance or Gardena, but I was meeting up with my former manager, and he lives right around the corner from here. I ordered the Sushi Special Combo, which comes with 7 pieces of sushi and spicy tuna or CA roll. Price was reasonable at just under $21. It normally comes with tuna, salmon, shrimp, white fish, yellowtail, albacore, and eel, but I substituted eel with extra salmon instead, which they were ok with. Everything tasted ok, but just no wow factor. I also ordered jumbo scallop sushi, which was good, but took forever to get my order. Took a trip to jasmine hana last evening and was pleasantly surprised. Missing one star because the Thai red curry was good but did not blow us away. Most of the Thai food overall did not seem too exciting. However, the rolls were amazing. Highly suggest the 911 and the lobster roll, both were to die for! See my pics and your mouth will water. We will definitely be back again for those! They close at 9 right now FYI. They let us sit at 8:35 (thank you for that!) however they stopped letting people sit by 8:55 and dozens of people tried to come in, even after 9. So again. FYI they close at 9! read more

The service was good and the staff very friendly. Our green dragon roll and hamachi sushi were good. Sadly the tempura udon was terrible; exceptionally greasy and heavy batter. Good tempura has a very light batter and isn't greasy. We also ordered two salmon skin hand rolls that were not the best. Instead of grilling the salmon skin it was deep fried. When we saw the extensive menu which had everything from sushi to ramen to Thai cuisine we should have heeded the old saying, "Jack of all trades, master of none." read more

The food here is so divine! I get Pad Sew Ew with tofu & American broccoli & it never disappoints! The broccoli is always fresh, the tofu is always crispy, and the noodles + sauce is to die for! I could have this everyday. I as well got the California roll (imitation crab) which is yummy with vegan eel sauce! I'm grateful that they have options for people like me who don't eat fish. I was in the area while my son's computer is being worked on so I decided to hunt for something delicious. I have been on a fish kick but just had grilled fish last night. I can in and say at the sushi bar. Party of 1! I had the spicy garlic roll and a spicy tuna roll. The spicy garlic role had albacore in it and then the whole thing is deep fried for a light crisp. I love how dense their rolls are. They put a lot of fish in the roll. I decided I prefer the texture of fresh rolls. But the flavor was delicious and the texture was fun so I'd get it again. I also got a platter of shishito peppers and edamames in garlic!! So good and tasty to nibble on. Only a few were really spicy. I look forward to the next time! #makesmewander read more

Absolutely delicious! First and foremost, super grateful to see they have a vegan/vegetarian menu. I was able to see the best options for me right away which is wonderful. Tonight I chose the green dragon roll and some egg rolls with a thai tea to top it all off! The green dragon roll is so flavorful while also being refreshing. The egg rolls also packed a lot of flavor and the perfect crunch on the outside. The thai tea is a good size for the price and I'm happy it isn't too sweet.
