    Signature Bowl
    Alice T.

This is the worst poke I've ever had in my life. I honestly don't understand how this place got so many good reviews. I ordered the Signature Bowl from Uber Eats -- the bowl was tiny, and even then it wasn't filled up. There were only about eight small pieces of fish, and they tasted really fishy. I also ordered hand rolls -- the rice was hard and dry. Super disappointing. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. DON'T COME HERE.

Is a Large bowl with two extra sides supposed to fit inside your small? Or am I getting ripped off for portions.
    Andrew T.

Portions have gone down, prices have gone up. THIS IS A LARGE WITH TWO EXTRA SIDES FITTING INSIDE THE SMALLEST BOWL THEY OFFER. They're ripping customers off. I have been a supportive customer since opening. Driving 30+ minutes each way for a quality filling poke bowl. Spoken with the owner a good amount of times, great guy. Workers used to be passionate about service. But as a customer I'm extremely disappointed that I'm now paying almost $30 just to get LESS amount of food I used to get for less than $20. Today will be my last visit. Not only was I denied a sample of the (spotty) tuna. I was given some of the most pathetic portions of everything. The tuna has always been questionable, which is why I asked for a sample. Could be lack of training, could be lack of customer service knowledge. Regardless, I'm done paying for it. I ordered a LARGE bowl with a EXTRA side of rice AND extra side of crab meat. I went back ask asked for the smallest bowl they could give me. And what a surprise, it fits damn near perfectly. This is absolutely ridiculous that I'm paying double the amount of a small bowl and getting the same portions. With respect, the rich people in this area probably won't bat an eye, but the supportive customers who have been here since day one will. I never write reviews but I've never been more disappointed in an establishment I've supported for years. There's another poke place 10 minutes down the road. I'll happily take my service elsewhere.

THE BEST POKE IN THE SOUTH BAY!!! I have been coming to poke me for years and I hope this place never changes. The fish here is SOOOO fresh and they always have the best toppings. I have been to almost all the poke places in the South Bay many times and consistently say poke me is the best. My favorites are the yellowtail and tuna, alone with the seaweed and crab salad. I love a mix of the truffle shoyu, spicy mayo and some ponzu. Don't forget to get crispy garlic and onions on top!!! They are a must. It's a casual restaurant where you order up front and get to choose your toppings as you walk by, with some seating indoors and outdoors. The portion sizes have gone down in the last couple years which is unfortunate but I hope the continue to stick to their fresh ingredients and phenomenal service!

My dad drove all the way to Palos Verdes to pick up his online order because it was buy one get one free. I'm telling you I wish I could give this place negative stars. I'm not even trying to be purposely mean but this was the WORST i mean WORSTTTT poke, no food I have put in my mouth. This is not real poke. I repeat, this is not real poke. I might get ptsd because of how traumatic it was for me to see the tiny container (not even the size of a small bowl you would get at a poke place) And tell me why there was cilantro, and the salmon pieces? only four pieces. I can't believe I am saying this but it was absolutely DISGUSTING. And for $27 is insane. Insane. Wasted money, wasted time, and especially i'm concerned about what went into my body. The flavoring tasted like msg and not fresh. I seriously just want to go back in time to stop my dad from trying this place or even get a refund. To the people who made it, I'm not sorry, seriously, either you guys don't know how to make a poke bowl or this whole franchise or poke place is a fake rip-off restaurant. I have had plenty of better poke bowls; this didn't even hit the mark of a bad poke bowl, it's below that. It's below the bar, almost tasted like food you would get from school. I hated it. I'm disappointed. I'm the type of person to not feel good after eating bad food, and right now I'm actually in pure shock and disgust. I don't usually write reviews, especially negative ones, but wow, this was incredibly upsetting. Don't come here. The picture shown below was zoomed in. I felt bad for my dad, and I was hungry, so I forced myself to eat it all. Why did it take 7 spoonfuls to finish it all? That says a lot about the portions. I'm taking time out of my busy day to write this review so you save yourself from getting poke from this place if you like poke. There is way better places. Just dont.

    A large poke bowl

The food and service is good. I don't like the taste of all poke places but this place the food tastes great and the service is good as well. When I used to be pescatarian I used to go there at least 3 times a week. I still go and eat there.

    Uncleaned shrimp
    Amanda W.

Couldn't even finish my meal. At least 5 of the shrimp in my bowl were not properly deveined. I cleaned at least 5, and after that, I gave up and removed all the shrimp from my bowl. So disappointing. Only reason I gave it 2 stars is because my boyfriend loved his bowl. This was not worth the $40 it cost for both bowls.

    Salmon poke bowl (MINI)
    Sarah A.

I personally believe that good food alone won't necessarily = a successful business. The fish here is great, I won't deny that. I've gotten the salmon and really loved it. The spicy crab and the fried garlic and fried onion is also delicious as is their rice! The biggest problem I have with this place is their pricing, portion size and service. Firstly, it's $13.99 for a MINI bowl. With the tiiiiiniest scoop of rice and an even tinier portion of fish. It's seriously the smallest portion I've ever seen at a poke place. It tastes GREAT so the pricing is really unfortunate. Secondly, the Asian man with tattoos who either manages the place or works here is SO RUDE. I dealt with him both times I've been here and both times he is very rude, curt and could give a hoot about customer service. I asked him a question and he just pointed at the board. If I ask for extra sauce he acts like I'm asking for his firstborn child lol. Just a really unpleasant experience dealing with this man and from the other reviews it seems that there's another person who works here with an even worse attitude. I wonder why the owners hire people who knowingly damage your business? TL;DR, Great poke bowls but not sure if worth price and awful service.

Delicious, fresh food customized to your order. The guy behind the counter was super nice about answering all my questions the first time I visited. The miso soup is tasty and you can add seaweed to it if you like. The medium bowl includes your choice of 3 proteins and unlimited mix-ins, sauces, and toppings. It was extremely filling as a meal, especially when I chose edamame and crabmeat as my 2 sides. Maybe next time I'll choose the small bowl instead. The sweet strawberry green tea was very sweet and includes your choice of popping boba pearls. I typically don't like popping boba, but these actually tasted quite nice in my drink. You can give them your name and phone number to get texts for freebies when you earn loyalty points.

We are new to the PV area and we're looking for local spots to try. Poke me popped up and at first we thought we didn't want poke, but then we saw the photos of the food and we changed our minds! We sat outside on a Sunday night and the foot traffic in and out of poke me was busy! I liked all the options poke me had, and how you could customize your own bowl. The spicy tuna was delicious but spicy, they asked if I wanted it on the side and I should have, good call poke me! We will visit again!

They made the experience enjoyable from start to finish. There are so many different poke options that it can be a little overwhelming at first. But don't worry; they let you sample the different flavors before deciding. That made it much easier to find what I liked. I ended up getting the Garlic Spicy Tuna and the Teriyaki Tuna, and both were delicious. The Garlic Spicy Tuna had a nice kick without being too strong. I found myself reaching for the Pepsi Zero Sugar that came with the meal. It paired perfectly with the poke. The Teriyaki Tuna was just as good and had a great mix of sweet and savory flavors. Plenty of clean space to eat. The owners are genuinely kind people. You can tell they care about their customers and the quality of their food. That kind of hospitality goes a long way and is one reason I will happily return. If you want fresh poke, friendly service, and many unique flavors, give Poke and More a try. Great staff! My friend and I stopped into this great shop in Lomita and had a fabulous meal. I love the way they do their poke - you get to pick TWO flavors of meat! How fun! It was all fresh, good selection of ingredients and the taste in the Crunchy Tuna Garlic was superb! We also loved the Spicy Salmon Mayo. I'm a huge tocino fan so when I saw it on their menu I had to get it! I was surprised it came with two fried eggs and was a nice, big portion. We also had to try their Crispy Masubi and this was fantastic. I've had many deep fried masubi versions and this was much nicer than those. This was the best breaded type of masubi I've had. Absolutely loved it and would get it again in a second. Overall, fabulous meal at Poke & More that I would go back for.

In carnivals or county fairs, there is a revolving shooting gallery game where 2-dimensional ducks continuously rotate on a conveyer belt. Shooting one down means little because it will eventually re-surface, and there are so many plastics ducks that denting one does nothing against the flock. I mean, in order to really make a statement against the flock one would have to use a bazooka or missile launcher to bring a specific duck down. And even though I have had bad experiences with this Ono's link that have resulted in some tummy grumbles, I can forgive because I understand that sometimes I am an unlucky duck that receives the worst of a business day. But this review is not meant to shoot down this place, quite the contrary it is meant to celebrate this place all the ducking way! The fare is Hawaiian inspired, and typically solid. And it can be healthy (grilled chicken) or indulgent (katsu- Asian fried chicken) and even unnecessary in an extra side kind of way (musubi or cream cheese wontons/ragoons). My recommendation is to stick to a combo---- protein, steam greens, side of rice and macaroni salad. I forego the macaroni salad and add a side salad or extra rice, depending on the time of day. All of this to say that this place is a strong conceptual choice for fast food that feels clean and island-like. And now, to the specific reason as to why I Yelp for this place an employee of the joint who goes by the name of Alicia. This place is the move, often a time for me. And I have been to this place so much that Alicia knows my voice and knows my order. It is kind of great to drive, and have someone know your name. Now the Cheers theme song impacts me in a different way. Alicia is friendly, never in a rush, makes me feel like I am the only customer in the world (shout out to Riri) and is attentive to a fault. I think, due to our brief banter the line grew a little bit longer than it should have. But again, Alicia did not make me feel like it was a problem. She made me feel like we were on Island time. She is also a salt to the earth type of person, a down-to- roll, kind of girl because she posed for her moment in the light. Workers like here elevate a fast food choice to a welcomed visit.
