It was hot outside, but it didn't stop me from visiting my favorite seafood place. My server, Cassandra recognized me and greeted me with a smile and asked how I was doing. They are so friendly here and know how to treat their customers. Dining room was clean and bright and only half full which was fine for me. I ordered a small Sculpin draft beer and the grilled sea bass with white rice and grilled zucchini. The cold beer really hit the spot on this hot day and my lunch was fresh and delicious.
"Crazy Fish - Grill & Market" has been at this location for a while. This just happened to be our first visit. The format is fast casual. You go to the counter and place your order. If dining on premises, they will bring your order to you. They don't serve tea or coffee, so they didn't begrudge us buying beverages at the Starbuck's next door. On this occasion, we ordered: an Asian salad ($8.95); grilled rock fish, w/ rice ($13.95); and two salmon fish tacos @ $3.50/ea. (this was the Taco Tuesday special). With tax ($2.92), the ticket was $32.82 before gratuity. I had the fish tacos. I feel that the ingredients used to make the tacos were good. The tacos were assembled well and tasted good, too. I'm torn on the grilled rock fish. This plate allows for the choice of two sides, and 2x rice was chosen. But when laid on the rice, the serving of fish looked small. The serving of salad was decent, for the price. Service was okay. Food quality was okay. The dining room was clean and neat. Pricing was reasonable.
Absolutely loved this place! The food was incredibly fresh and delicious and the hospitable service made the experience even better. Every condiment and topping was thoughtfully prepared and added the perfect finishing touch to the meal. The space itself is appropriately decorated with fish even in the resting rooms. The large open layout is welcoming, comfortable and casual. This place has instantly become my new go-to spot. What I really appreciate is the variety on the menu, it's not just fish. They also offer options like chicken so there's something for everyone. After my first visit I already want to go back and try more menu items. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food, great service with a relaxed atmosphere.

I had lunch there with a colleague, and since then, I've returned whenever I'm craving a delicious salmon bowl! **Salmon Bowl: 5/5** The salmon bowl is made with brown rice, roasted corn, house slaw, cherry tomatoes, roasted zucchini, serrano peppers! (I love it spicy), and sriracha aioli, all topped with fried wontons. I also always order a side of poke to take home for the next day. It's muy excelente!
Blown away by this place! By far the best seafood I've had in a cool minute. Everything was made fresh to order. The server was friendly, patient, and informative about the menu. The sea bass with the garlic butter sauce was absolutely bonkers. I could eat that all day. We also had one of the Atlantic salmon bowls and the salmon tacos. I noticed the staff wiping down tables after patrons left, and the bathroom was spotless. I'll definitely be back! A must-try if you want quality seafood.

Tried this place with my sister. To be honest, I'm not much of a seafood foodie but my experience here was pleasant. I got the ceviche and the poke bowl. Both were good, maybe not the best I've had but decent. My sister got this grilled garlic butter shrimp and I wish I got that instead. It was really good. Service was great and friendly and the place was simple and clean. I'd come back just to get that shrimp again.
Came in for lunch , everything looked good and fresh . Went for the wild salmon , was about 16.95 , come with two side . I ordered the brown rice and the zucchini and corn , and that had a lil kick to it bud good . The salmon was a huge portion and really good , I got half Cajun and half butter garlic I believe . Really really good . Service was good , and pretty quick. Looks like lunch is a busy time for them . But plenty of room for ppl .also an outdoor area for seating .
I dined here a few years ago with my sisters and we decided to go again La few days ago. The restaurant is casual, order at the counter and the food is delivered to your table. Soft drinks are self serve. The fish/shrimp and chips that I ordered came quickly and was quite good and plentiful. My sisters ordered sea bass with a couple of sides and some poke with chips for an appetizer. Everything looked good and the chips were freshly made. I would definitely go back as the service was prompt and the staff members were very friendly.
It was good for what it is. We got 3 poke bowls and a grilled salmon bowl and drinks. My family enjoyed all the food. The poke bowls could definitely use more veggies. The deal breaker that made us decide not to come back: my husband but down on a rock in the bowl. We showed it to an employee there and all we got was a "sorry". No comp offered.
The seafood is always incredibly fresh, and the prices are a really good deal for the quality and portion sizes you get. On my last visit, we got the sea bass, a fish taco, and the poke and chips. The sea bass was cooked perfectly, and the poke was incredibly fresh and clean. l've also been to their Express location downtown on 7th Street, and it's just as good. It's perfect if you're in a rush and need something quick. You really can't go wrong with either spot if you want a solid, casual seafood meal in Pedro. Highly recommend. read more

Quaint quick service and poke fish store in San Pedro , right off Western Ave. First discovered it through a Yelp event, but the food was so good, i actually kept coming back. They have a special crazy fish grill sauce that I cannot get enough of in their bowls. Pricing is on par with a lot of fast, casual fish, restaurants, and there is a ton of parking. Best of all they support the ILWU Which is a local longshoreman union. read more

I was craving grilled mahi mahi and Crazy Fish came up on yelp as the most affordable option. Unfortunately after I ordered they informed me they were out of mahi ;( they offered for me to try the yellowfin tuna instead so I did. I was bummed but dang.... It was DELICIOUS. It's super juicy and flavorful. We also got Brussel sprouts, fried string beans and clam chowder. The Brussels are similar to expensive restaurant quality with a little balsamic vinaigrette and parm, but a really reasonable price. Crispy leaves, a little sweet a little oily but mmmm they were amazing. The clam chowder is perfectly creamy but not too thick. Needs a little salt but otherwise it's up there as one of my favorites. The string beans were just fine but I'd skip them. There had like a fried zucchini batter, well coated and crispy but eh not for me. My partner got the fried shrimp and fish and chips and they loved it. They couldn't get enough of the shrimp. The batter was really light but crispy. Nothing soggy or heavy. The fries are skinny but kinda battered, good. Everyone here is super nice and helpful and felt bad they were out of the fish but obvy not their fault. The beer was cold and the AC hit the spot on a hot day. We'll definitely be back. read more

Delicious seafood, great prices! I came here for a quick bite, and will deinitely return! The ambiance is very casual and social. It's so laid back, you don't expect the food to be as good as it is! The service is great! They have a "take your number and we'll bring it to your table" system, and our food came out quickly! Now let's talk about the food! We got the Jumbo Shrimp Skewers from the grill with white rice and sweet potato fries! The shrimp was seasoned to PERFECTION, and the sweet potato fries were the perfect texture! We also got the seabass with chimichurri sauce, with zuchini and sweet potato fries! The food was so scrumptious that I opted to get another entree to go! There was a sign for a shrimp sandwich/poboy! I don't believe it's on the menu, but it was YUMMY! I will absolutely be back! read more

If you're craving fish this is a pretty good place to come to. I ordered the mahi plate with a side fish taco, however, when I got the order it was a two fish taco plate and a mahi plate. I didn't want that much food; but that's what I got. The fish plate was pretty good, and also were the fish tacos. I couldn't eat everything as it was a lot. There's plenty of places to sit down and enjoy your food here. It's nice inside. I didn't wait that long for my food. Other than the order being a little miscommunicated, I would recommend others to try this place out if they're craving fish. read more

Came here on a Sunday after our walk at the South Coast Botanical Garden. We decided to come here because it was close by and we had a good experience previously. Was hoping for some delicious seafood/ fish tacos. The service was great and there's quite a bit of options! We decided to go with poke chips, fish plate, and taco plate. It was all too salty and the food was just ok, not great. We were all a little disappointed with what we ordered, but it wasn't terrible. Not a place I would crave in the future. Overall, service was great, but food was a little disappointing. We probably wouldn't come back again. read more
It's been awhile but the tacos as just as good everytime even two years later. Loves a place that present the same quality dish everytime just as good as the first time you try it. The service is always fast and efficient. The restaurant is very clean with crazy fish art ton of inside and outside seating for a family food gathering. read more

I can usually tell from the first bite if I'm going to love my food and I loved it. This is a small casual local fish spot similar to California Fish Grille, but better IMO. My only warning: watch for small bones especially if you have kids, Facility: 4/5. Clean and simple. There are tables inside and outside. Tables are cleaned immediately by staff. Bathrooms were clean. Lost a point due to the iced tea machine being empty (greens and black). Food: 5/5. Salmon Bowl: I don't know if it was farmed or wild caught salmon but the bowl itself was delicious. It had sauce on the salmon that had a tad bit of sweetness. The crispy wonton strips gave it the crunch and the flavors of the veggies was perfect.I will come back over and over for this dish! Grilled sea bass: 5/5. Grilled to perfection and seasoned to perfection. The zucchini was also nicely grilled. Butter sauce: 2/5. No herbs and was just kind of bland. Service: 5/5. No issues. Service was fast and friendly. I randomly came to this plaza because I was driving through San Pedro. I was also craving fish tacos. The service was great and the guy at the counter gave great recommendations. I just ordered 2 tacos and they were both delicious. They also give you sliced lemons, pico de gallo, and salsa on the side. The tortilla is slighter thicker but overall it was still delicious. They also have taco Tuesdays on a specific taco for a discounted price. Quick and easy! read more

This is a great place for seafood. The staff is really friendly and the service is great. They have a wide selection of fish and you can customize your order any way you want. They have both indoor and outdoor patio dining. I've been here several times already and as you can see by pics, I always try to order something different each time. Whether you like your fish grilled or fried, or raw (Poke!), this place has it all. Stop by and try this place. All the locals know about this place, so you're always in the presence of good company. read more

This place is delicious period. If you're in San Pedro I would definitely suggest stopping by. The Poke alone already has me wanting to go back (and I just had it) the pieces were soft, flavorful, and fresh. A must try. The fish tacos were also soft and crispy and portion was large. The Shrimp roll is a new item and excellent as well. It seems to have a Mayonnaise based sauce and includes a tangy pickle which cuts through the creaminess. (Great pairing) Service was great everyone was kind and food was ready quickly. So happy to try this spot will have to go back for that Poke because it was the star of the show in my opinion:) read more
This is a casual seafood spot in the San Pedro/Palos Verdes area. We ordered the calamari burrito, fish and chips and white fish platter to go. The seafood was fresh, lightly battered and tasty. The fries got a little soggy on the ride home but they were well-seasoned and likely would've been much better had we eaten there. Service was quick, efficient and friendly read more
