It pains me to write such a negative review about a company, but All About Roofing did, quite frankly, an awful job on my roof. This company might be capable of good work (based on positive Yelp reviews), but that was not my experience. To the contrary, it took a second roofing company to do the job that All About Roofing promised it would do and was paid for doing. Last summer, I called All About Roofing after my roof began leaking from rains in early 2023. This was my first (and only) experience with them. They inspected my roof and wrote up a proposal. The proposal said they would, among other things, (1) check the condition of the existing waterproofing paper beneath my shingles around my chimney and, if necessary, replace the paper, and (2) rebuild the wooden box around my chimney. As it turned out, All About Roofing did not do the first item. And they did a poor job on the second item. I was unaware of this at the time since their workers told me that they completed the job. I assumed my roof would no longer leak. Four months later, however, my roof continued to leak. I immediately called and texted All About Roofing about the leaking and asked them to return. I got no response. I tried again several days later. Still, there was no response. Hearing nothing, I hired a second roofing company. (Only after I hired the second company to do the job did I hear back from All About Roofing, but it was too late by then.) This second company inspected my roof. They took pictures of what they found. The pictures show that, contrary to what All About Roofing promised, the existing waterproofing paper was not inspected, and it certainly was not replaced. This allowed water to soak into the plywood roof. In addition, All About Roofing was supposed to rebuild the wooden box around my chimney, but inexplicably they left a fairly large gap between wood sheets where water could get in. Finally, All About Roofing did not install waterproofing paper behind the wooden sheets, leaving it without a way to stop rain. All About Roofing might be capable of good work, but their workmanship at my house was highly unprofessional. The pictures reveal it. Again, it took a second roofing company to fix the leak that I hired All About Roofing to fix. read more
