The company has not replied to my message both through the website and Ebay messages. I gave three business days wait on Ebay, and sent message through Contact Us on the website afterward. The vacuum sent is a returned product, with scratches on the lid, dusty wheels, and a crumpled box. I expect a courtesy notice over the condition of the product not being new, despite the listing saying "New". I'm excited to use the vacuum; it's functional, but I'm not sure how warranty works for old returned items. I request for guarantees of tests your company has made to make sure the machine won't break down prematurely, or compensatory warranties for this product not being like advertised. Anyway, please give input on how we can rectify this. read more

I will never do business with them! Horrible customer service and even worse return policy. All returns costs are paid for by the customer and some products will be charged a restocking fee. I shopped the All About Vacuums website looking for a shark lift away vacuum. Clicked on this model ZU780 looking for a feature that it will lift off the upright and allow you to use the motorized power head with the hose & pole to reach under furniture. All about vacuums website showed a picture of the feature! Great, exactly what I was looking for and made the purchase. Received the shark left away vacuum and got it all assembled and was so disappointed it did not offer the feature pictured on their website. I reached out to All About Vacuum's to notify them that the product was NOT as described and pictured on their website. Bob whom answers the phone said that was a photo provided by Shark. He kindly offered for me to simply follow the return instructions on their website and they would evaluate my refund after inspection on the returned product in its original packaging. I never even turned on the vacuum. I repacked it up in its original box & packaging and drug it down to the UPS to be quoted $165 return shipping costs. I then went to USPS and was quoted $145 to return the vacuum. The vacuum's original cost was $199. Plus the return costs and a possible restocking fee? I contacted Shark directly to complain about All about Vacuums as a distributor / dealer, only for Shark to say that they do not have All About Vacuums as an authorized Shark dealer. All About Vacuum said it was drop shipped from the manufacturer! After reading a "F" review from the BBB and poor reviews online and YELP. My bad for not knowing their return policy. Although I never would have wanted to return it if the vacuum did what was shown in a photo on their website. Very misleading. Note: They have updated their website by removing the photo the that showed the vacuum feature it does not have. This company has poor customer service, sent several emails before they answered one. Called them and not very understanding of why I wanted to return the vacuum because of their misleading photo. They didn't suggest exchanging for a vacuum that could do what I needed. They lack in any customer care service. The return shipping is cost prohibitive to the customer to return it so I am stuck with the vacuum. I will never again do business with All About Vacuums! ***** Update ***** After yelp review was posted and several times requesting a return label, they finally agreed to send one and did fully refund the vacuum, but what a nightmare! read more

All About Vacuums has fantastic customer service! I brought my vacuum to them for repair (one of the blowers wasn't blowing, that's the best way I can describe it). They checked it out by taking the whole vacuum apart. They couldn't find anything wrong and even ran it for two hours with no problem. Bob would not let me pay him bc he didn't find anything wrong. I was blown away. Who does that these days?! I would never buy a vacuum, or have one serviced, anywhere other than All About Vacuums. Thank you again Bob! read more

I have been buying cheap vacuums from big retailers for years until I stumbled across this gem over a decade ago. I've purchased two canister vacuums from them, a Miele and a Sebo as well as a simplicity cordless stick vacuum. I wasn't sold on the products at first, but after having my Miele and sebo for a decade now with 0 problems and fantastic service from Bob and Bill at All About Vacuums I am assured that I have the best vacuums out there and two of the top experts help whenever I need it. Every time I go into their store I'm greeted with a smile and find myself having a good laugh. I'm always taken care of if my machine needs a bag, filter, belt, or yearly tune up. I did have to replace my Miele wand which was covered under warranty and Bob made sure to take care of that for me. I purchased a vacuum from this merchant which did not work from the start. It made a funny noise and the brush did not turn. We checked the belt and it was fine. When we called the owner, we were told that it was the belt and they sent a belt even though I told them that that belt was fine. Belt received and it did not fix the problem. After trying to get in touch with the owner and being put off for 4 days, we were finally told that something didn't add up and we must have broke the vacuum. I brought my shark up to them because it was having problems. They spent about 10 minutes looking it over and explained to me how I could fix it or how much it would cost if I wanted them to do it. While I was waiting the young lady showed me one of their top of the line vacuums. Everyone should have so much pride in their work. She was fabulous, she wasn't trying to sell me a vacuum she was trying to educate me on the things I should consider when buying a vacuum. Salesman made claims about a more expensive model and convinced me to "upgrade "The posted return policy promises 100% satisfaction and 31 days to return with all packing material. You'll also have to pay them back for "free" shipping to you, plus pay return shipping and 18% restocking fee. The vacuum arrived overnight in a box that was ripped open in several places. After trying the vacuum for maybe a minute it was not as described not did it perform as described. I called immediately to return and the first thing the salesman said was, "Did you turn the vacuum on?" I said yes, and he said the vacuum is considered used and can't be returned. I purchased two Dyson V11 replacement filters from these scumbags for $62.91 that included free shipping. The filters did not fit my vacuum and had to file for a return request. They answered that the filters are not genuine and gave me an return authorization number. I shipped back the items within the 10 days that their return policy demands at my own cost. They replied back on email saying that they would issue partial refund as follows: $62.92 - $13.60 for restocking and shipping out fees = $49.31. Instead of $49.32, they refunded $13.60. They do not answer emails or phone calls and their voice mail is constantly full. I am now disputing the charge and refund. As a side note, the "reviews" on their web site mention that the filters are genuine but of course these are likely fake. This company has an F rating at the Better Business Bureau where you can read two unanswered consumer complaints from last year for the exact same Dyson filters and for the exact same reasons (non-genuine, non-fitting, no refund, etc.). read more

I have 3 dogs, I needed a great vacuum and I needed a store that not only helped me find the right vacuum but stood behind it as well. I spent a great deal of time researching this as I had too many negative vacuum cleaner experiences. For example, a Vacuum store in my neighborhood, wanted to charge me over $130.00 for a $10.00 broken belt. The owner lied and told me it needed a complete cleaning and overhaul, he didn't realized I had just had that done elsewhere. He was caught and had nothing to say. I knew to eliminate that store (actually they have 3 stores) and find a reputable store. All about Vacuums is the best.
