He was great the first time he came to my home to fix my downstairs A/C. However, since then, it has been IMPOSSIBLE to reach him and/or to get him to come back and repair my upstairs heater. I wanted to give my business to him since he was great at fixing my A/C...BUT I give up and am giving my business to someone else. Timeline: August 2018 - did a great job in responding and coming to my home to fix my downstairs A/C. He included a warranty for the fix. However, I don't feel confident about warranty because I doubt I'll be able to contact and reach him successfully so that he can come and repair my heater. If I can't reach him for heater issue, it is highly unlikely I will be able to reach him for warranty work for my downstairs A/C. I'll take my loses on his warranty, and if my downstairs A/C breaks down, I'll go elsewhere. November 2018 - I messaged him on Yelp asking him to please come repair my upstairs heater. He NEVER responded. I text and called his phone and left a message, he NEVER responded. December 2018-February 2019 - I asked a question on Yelp "asking whether he was still in business" to my surprise he answered "yes." Therefore, I proceeded to call him. He answered. He said he was out of the country and to call him back one week later. I did. He then told me he was backed up by 2-3 weeks. I asked him to put me on his list. I NEVER HEARD BACK FROM HIM. March 2019 - I text him asking him if he now had time to come repair my heater. He NEVER RESPONDED. I'm still trying to give him benefit of the doubt at this time. After this, I didn't fix heater because weather got warmer. November 2019 - I sent a yelp message. He NEVER RESPONDED. I waited a few days. I then called him. He answered . He told me he was 2-3 weeks backed up and that he is a "1-man show." I told him respectfully I would find someone else. I understand you are a "1-man show" BUT AT THE VERY LEAST GET BACK TO PEOPLE WHO CALL YOU AND LET THEM KNOW THAT. In addition, you should indicate in writing that you are a "1-man show," this way people don't waste their time calling and waiting on you to get back to them. Further, you do provide quality work, but your communication SUCKS! I am so horrified by your lack of communication. I feel like a dumb dumb for insisting on waiting on you to get back to me (that's how loyal I like to be with my vendors, but you sir have pooped on my loyalty). read more

Our upstairs AC unit stopped working in this horrendous week of high temps ranging from 111-113!! Not Fun!! Thanks to the very capable and FAST service by Luis, we were saved from the roasting experience. He didn't garble air conditioning lingo at us and get us confused and desperate. He simply told us there was too much freon in the unit and he freed up some. Voila! We are back to our happy cool selves. He could have told us anything and we wouldn't have known otherwise? I was hearing a rattling at night in our HVAC system that's in our attic. Didn't want it to be something big so I sent him a message through yelp and he was able to come out 3 days later (messaged on a Saturday he came out Tuesday since Monday was a holiday). My heater and everything still worked just fine, so it wasn't necessary for him to come out quickly. When he came out, he couldn't find anything wrong, since the noise only happened at night, so most likely a resonance vibration. He was looking for anything wrong and said our unit was working smoothly. He also informed us of things other companies will try to sell to you that aren't necessary, like a furnace cleaning which isn't needed for natural gas. He also took a look at our water heater and gave us a rough quote for the future. Also informed us that it's not necessary, and actually worse, to flush your water heater system. Our water heater is 13 years old and he said to just fair until it breaks, instead of trying to sell us to replace it after informing us he replaces his every 5 years so his expensive hobbies don't get flooded in his garage. Still after all that, no charge for just coming out! Safe to say we'll be calling him in May for an AC tune up (he also said a furnace tune up is not necessary in Vegas) and any future plumbing and HVAC needs. So please give him a call! Without going into long drawn out minute by minute thing this guy did I can only tell you he is a crook and a liar. Had work done on a install and although I didnt catch his lie because I was out of town, years later he told the same made up lie about what he did to fix my unit only this time I had a witness who watched what he didnt do but said he did. On 2 occasions he said he had to do the fix by doing something in the attic. At no time was he EVER in my attic and there would be no reason to be if the AC unit is on the side of the home and heater is in garage If I was smart I would have taken his ass to court but I know the hassels of that. I looked on Yelp for an honest A/C guy and found Luis at All Around Heating. What I liked was Luis's bio and the fact that he does his own work versus a large company that sends out one of their employees. Luis was very honest and said that my air conditioner was one of the best and there was no need for a tune up. How honest is that? He also gave me tips on keeping our home cooler and reducing our electric bill. Come to find out, Luis is also a general contractor and does plumbing and other repairs inside the house. I highly recommend all around heating and cooling. Luis is amazing and provides honest quotes instead of taking advantage of the customer. My company got a recommendation to bring in a different company to look at the AC. The quoted us to replace the whole unit for 9,000.00. We wanted to get another quote, and in the meantime our AC actually blew it because the first company didn't say to shut it down. Luis gave an honest answer saying the unit is fine and we just need to replace and re-fabricate a piece which cost $2200, which is clearly what we decided to do.
